Su Yue was taken aback by the sudden confession, montarily at a loss.
"Did I scare you?" Si Heng smiled.
Su Yue nodded, "I really was a bit startled."
Si Heng, slightly apologetic, "Sorry for startling you."
"No, we didn’t do anything, so how could I be frightened?" Su Yue’s mind was full of nonsense, her words not passing through her brain.
After saying that, she was very annoyed and really wanted to bite off her own tongue.
Seeing her reaction, Si Heng couldn’t help but laugh out loud, "I’m having so regrets now."
Su Yue was taken aback.
"Just now, I thought you might agree, so I could have taken you ho."
Su Yue’s face flushed red, and she stood up, grabbing a towel to leave.
Si Heng grabbed her arm, "Can you stay with for a while?"
Su Yue looked at him and gently humd, "I’m going to take a shower, then I’ll co back and keep you company."
Si Heng smiled and let go of her hand, watching Su Yue return to her own bedroom before he lay down.
Su Yue went straight into the bathroom, holding the towel that still belonged to Si Heng, as if holding him.
She quickly let go of the towel, slapping her flushed face to stop herself from thinking inappropriate thoughts.
"It’s all over now, my face is turning yellow."
She washed her face with cold water, and it took a while for her flushed face to subside sowhat.
After the shower, she changed into her pajamas and entered Si Heng’s bedroom, only to find nobody on the bed, while the sound of water ca from the bathroom.
Su Yue felt nervous, standing still, fidgeting with her hands.
The sound of water abruptly stopped.
Shortly afterward, Si Heng, clad in pajamas and drying his hair, stepped out.
He explained upon seeing Su Yue, "I slled like disinfectant, and I was worried you might not like it, so I took a shower. I had no other intention."
Su Yue responded, "You’ve had your stomach washed and been put on a drip; if you had any other intentions, I doubt you’d be up to it."
Si Heng felt challenged and narrowed his eyes as he stepped forward, wrapping the towel around her neck and pulling her toward him.
Su Yue fell into the man’s arms, her hands bracing against his chest, looking up at him.
Si Heng wasn’t wearing glasses, his eyes were deep, with pronounced double eyelids, giving him a sowhat mixed-race appearance.
Si Heng smiled faintly, "Can you estimate now? Otherwise, shall we verify it physically?"
Su Yue stuttered, "No, there’s no need."
Si Heng lightly kissed her smooth forehead, "My condition tonight could affect my performance, and if you’re not satisfied and want a divorce later, I’d be inconsolable."
Su Yue muttered softly, "I’m not that kind of person."
She looked at the man’s lips, still pale, definitely feeling unwell, "Let dry your hair."
Taken aback by the offer, Si Heng agreed happily.
Su Yue made him sit at the edge of the bed and began drying his hair with a hairdryer.
The warm air mixed with the scent entered the man’s nostrils, causing Si Heng to beco sowhat distracted.
Su Yue turned off the hairdryer and placed it on the bedside table.
Si Heng then brought her onto his lap, "Yueyue, I will treat you well, please don’t divorce ..."
Su Yue eyed him, "Why do you keep hesitating? I won’t divorce you, I won’t, I won’t..."
Si Heng sealed her lips with a kiss, silencing the rest of her words.
That night it rained in Jiangcheng, softly and stickily, the raindrops falling on the window making no pitter-patter sounds, but rather a clingy noise.
The woman’s low sobs began, "Si Heng, it hurts..."

Si Heng stepped forward, took the pajamas from the foot of the bed, knelt on the bed and moved forward, "I’ve seen every part of your body, why are you still shy?"
Su Yue scolded him, "Don’t talk. Turn around."
Si Heng smiled, shrugged his shoulders, put down the pajamas and turned away.
Wrapped in a thin blanket, Su Yue grabbed the pajamas and jumped out of bed.
The mont she landed, her legs trembled.
She even doubted that last night’s treatnt at the hospital hadn’t been thorough, the dicine was pretty strong.
She ran back to her bedroom and shut the door.
In the bathroom, she looked at herself in the mirror and felt a thrill upon realizing she had changed from a girl into a woman.
However, the experience wasn’t great because it hurt too much.
From a doctor’s perspective, Si Heng explained in detail why it was painful and why it would beco pleasurable in the future.
The whole affair firmly turned into a teaching experience.
Thinking about it, Su Yue couldn’t help but laugh, "What an idiot."
Since Si Heng had bathed her the night before, she simply washed up, took care of her skin, changed into a sporty outfit and opened the door, where Si Heng was waiting for her.
"Let’s eat."
"Oh, okay."
The two sat at the dining table, and Si Heng served her so dishes, "These are all your favorites."
For over a year, whenever they were at ho, it was Si Heng who cooked.
He cooked delicious als, so even when Su Yue wasn’t speaking to him, she wouldn’t mistreat her own stomach.
"I don’t have any surgeries today, I’ll take you shopping, maybe see a movie."
Su Yue responded lightly, "Okay."
After the al, Si Heng cleaned up the dishes while Su Yue changed into another set of sportswear before they left the house.
Hand in hand, they strolled through the streets, shopped at a supermarket, ate Western cuisine, and watched a movie.
Su Yue asked, "Aren’t we moving a bit fast?"
Si Heng shook his head, "I’ve been waiting for a long ti."
Su Yue pursed her lips, smiling, and intertwined her fingers with his.
When they walked out of the cinema, it was already past nine in the evening.
Su Yue smiled, "I had a lot of fun today."
Si Heng nodded, "We’ll always have fun like this."
"What’s next on the agenda?"
Si Heng’s eyes deepened, "Couple’s yoga."
He wrapped his arm around Su Yue’s waist and they walked toward the car.
In the darkness, a pair of crimson eyes stared intensely at them, then quickly disappeared.
A week later.
Su Yue ran into An Yan and Fu Shiyan at the maternity store, and the three of them went to a cafe to catch up.
In the anti, Fu Shiyan went to the restroom.
An Yan took a sip of her milk tea, "Ah, milk tea really is life-saving!"
Su Yue laughed, "Your favorite, you haven’t had it in a while, right?"
"Indeed. Once I give birth, the first things I want to do are lie down, go running, and drink ten cups of milk tea in a row."
Su Yue laughed loudly, "The simplest things have now beco luxuries."
"It won’t be long now, these two little ones are about to et us," An Yan gently caressed her belly.
Su Yue took a sip of her hot chocolate milk, "The children’s godmother has to be alone."
An Yan nodded, "Considering you just bought so many little clothes, I reluctantly agree."
The two of them chatted and laughed.
Just then, a man wearing a flat cap and a mask entered, quickly walked towards them.
An Yan quickly beca alert, warned Su Yue, and threw her cup at the man.
But the man dodged quickly, raised the stone in his hand, and smashed it hard towards Su Yue’s head.
