Night had fallen.

An Yan glanced at her wristwatch; it was already 8 p.m.

She had just found out Fu Shiyan’s itinerary and knew that at this mont, he was entertaining President Li of Fengxing Machinery at the Wanjiang Banquet.

However, she couldn’t reveal that she already knew this, so she made a call to Han Yang.

"Assistant Han, hello, this is An Yan. I have sothing to return to Younger Uncle, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with him."

Han Yang had just stepped out of the restroom, "President Fu probably didn’t hear his phone, he’s currently entertaining President Li."

"Then I’ll bring it to him, where are you guys?"

Thinking about how Fu Shiyan had asked him to transfer property to An Yan that morning, and considering last night’s situation, the two must have had so indescribable encounter, so their relationship should be quite ambiguous now.

Without hiding it, he replied, "In Wanjiang Banquet’s room 208."

An Yan hung up the phone and left the house with the kraft paper bag.

Half an hour later, An Yan arrived at the Wanjiang Banquet.

As she ascended the steps, she saw a sign at the entrance that read: "The An Family and livestock not allowed inside!"

An Yan raised an eyebrow. The An Family?

Which An Family had offended the owner of the Wanjiang Banquet so much as to not be given any face?

But if it were An Zaili’s An, she would be quite pleased.

She curled her lips into a smile and walked in.

To get to room 208, she had to pass by the restroom. She saw a familiar figure coming out, blocking her path.

"Are you here to see ?" A flash of surprise crossed Fu Chenyu’s eyes.

An Yan’s eyes filled with disgust. Where did this scoundrel get his sense of superiority?

"Give you a chance to disappear from my sight right now," she said coldly.

"Playing hard to get!" scoffed Fu Chenyu, stepping forward and sizing her up, "If you had dressed up like this earlier, maybe I would have noticed you. But it’s not too late. Just accompany tonight, and I will break up with An Yirou tomorrow and get engaged to you."

An Yan’s cold gaze narrowed as she fought the urge to punch him.

At that mont, the door to room 208 opened and Fu Shiyan stepped out.

Seeing the face drawing closer to hers, An Yan suddenly hit it with the kraft paper bag, her voice breaking with a sob, "What are you trying to do? Stay away from !"

Instead of getting angry, Fu Chenyu laughed, reaching out to grab An Yan’s wrist, "Of course I want to cherish you!"

"What are you doing!" Fu Shiyan yanked at Fu Chenyu’s collar, pulling him off balance.

The trendous impact made Fu Chenyu slam against the wall, numbing half of his body.

He was about to curse when he saw that it was Fu Shiyan, and he couldn’t help but swallow nervously, "Younger Uncle, you’ve misunderstood."

Fu Shiyan’s dark eyes were terrifyingly somber, his aura nacing, "Do you want to be disciplined with family law again?"

Fu Chenyu, rembering the beating he hadn’t recovered from just a few days ago, with bruises still all over him, felt a cold sweat running down his spine.

"Younger Uncle, it’s really a misunderstanding." He tried his best to explain.

"Get out!" The handso face of Fu Shiyan showed complete intolerance.

Fu Chenyu fled in panic, not even returning to the room.

Fu Shiyan turned around to see An Yan’s reddened eyes and the flushed tip of her nose, looking pitiable.

The anger he had previously held against her for manipulating him dissipated by more than half.

His tone softened a bit, "Why are you here?"

An Yan handed over the kraft paper bag, "I ca to give you this."

It was the property deed he had just sent out that morning, now being returned to him.

Fu Shiyan weighed the deed in his hand, looking at the property docunt for Boning Courtyard.

He weighed it in his hand, "Not satisfied?"

An Yan shook her head, stepping forward cautiously and tugging at the man’s sleeve, "I don’t want you to sever our connection with just a property deed."

People were coming and going in the hallway, and so glanced their way occasionally.

Fu Shiyan asked her to wait for a while and left the private room with Han Yang in less than two minutes.

"Let’s go, I’ll take you back," Fu Shiyan said indifferently as he passed her.

In the car, the man’s handso profile was hidden in the fluctuating light and shadow.

An Yan whispered, "Younger Uncle."

Fu Shiyan kicked the back of the seat, and Assistant Han imdiately raised the partition, dividing the cabin into two separate spaces.

The man’s deep eyes looked at An Yan, and after a long while, he parted his lips, "Do you like ?"

An Yan nodded, "I do."

"How much do you like ?"

Without hesitation, An Yan said, "I like you so much that I’d go mad for you, bang my head against the wall for you, and turn into a little sheep for you."

Fu Shiyan pressed his hand to his brow. Was this what they called cheesy love talk?

He lit a cigarette, his fingers holding the white stick with elegance, and his thin lips parted slightly, "Don’t like , it’s pointless."

An Yan looked at him with a sense of grievance, her eyes misting over, "Why?"

"What do you call ?"

"Younger Uncle."

"You are the forr fiancée of my nephew."

An Yan looked at the distance between them, empty enough for one more person, as if separated by the vast divide of the Chu and Han realms.

Her fingers wandered restlessly closer, and then she leaned her whole body in, barely touching his neatly pressed suit, her fingers tugging at the diamond cufflink, "I’m the forr fiancée, and moreover, he barely spoke to . Can I stop calling you Younger Uncle and call you Ayan, is that okay?"

Fu Shiyan, looking at the girl’s cute and naughty eyes, was suddenly speechless.

The cold words he had been brewing couldn’t make their way out of his mouth.

His gaze wandered to her quivering lips, the sweet, soft taste seemingly lingering at his own lips.

His Adam’s apple moved, and he turned his head away from her.

"Younger Uncle? Ayan? Which do you prefer to call you?" An Yan leaned in closer again.

The girl’s natural sweet pear fragrance invaded his nostrils as if it was done on purpose.

Fu Shiyan felt a wave of heat surge through his chest. In a daze, he recalled the entanglent they shared in the bathroom the night before when he seed to have heard her call him Ayan.

Her soft voice echoed in his mind, and he felt a tightness in his lower abdon. His fingertips suddenly snuffed out the cigarette and tossed it into the ashtray.

He admitted he desired her, but that sense of immorality bound him; it was the reason he ultimately hadn’t taken her the night before.

Fu Shiyan’s fingertip rested on the girl’s forehead, "Sit on the side. Talking to you now doesn’t an I’ve let go of your scheming."

That sentence ant that he was still angry.

An Yan blinked, her eyes clear and seemingly innocent, as if the scheming wasn’t her doing.

The car stopped below Bishui Bay, and Fu Shiyan’s voice was detached, "Your intentions aren’t bad, focus on doing the right thing in the future."

An Yan uttered a sound, tentatively asking, "Can Younger Uncle stop being angry then?"

Fu Shiyan didn’t answer but countered, "What do you think?"

Putting herself in his shoes, being sched against and nearly losing her virtue would infuriate anyone enough to want to tear the other person to pieces.

"Otherwise... how about you hit to vent your anger?" After saying that, she stuck out her tongue playfully.

Fu Shiyan glanced sideways, catching a glimpse of her pale pink tongue tip, and his eyes darkened.

"Get out of the car."

An Yan nodded, obediently pushed the door open, and got out, standing on the curb to wave goodbye.

Soon, the tail lights disappeared around the corner.

An Yan thought, even though the property deed had been returned, it didn’t an they had settled their differences.

An old man is angry; he still needs to be coaxed.

Before going to sleep, An Yan sent a WeChat ssage to Fu Shiyan as usual, but she did not wait for a reply.

It didn’t matter. As long as he did not delete her, things were not too bad.
