The glass skywalk was about one and a half ters wide, with most visitors slowly walking forward while holding onto the side railings, and a few were so frightened that they squatted on the ground and cried.

An Yan, however, walked down the middle, both fast and steady.

Fu Shiyan followed behind her, watching as the wind lifted her waist-length hair and her face burst into carefree laughter.

All of a sudden, An Yan stopped and grabbed his hand, "In the future, let’s walk together."

Fu Shiyan clasped her hand back, his voice serious yet firm, "Alright."

The skywalk was five hundred ters long, and the two walked to the end hand in hand.

Seeing the equipnt in the staff’s hands, they finally understood what Fu Shiyan ant by the surprise at the end.

"Taking bungee jumping?"

"Do you want to try it?"

An Yan loved extre sports and had not gone bungee jumping in a long ti, making it hard for her to resist the temptation.

She nodded in agreent.

Fu Shiyan smiled, "We’ll jump together."

"Together?"

"To feel what it’s like to live and die together." Fu Shiyan pinched her cheek slightly and turned to the staff, "We’ll do it together."

The staff quickly geared them up with safety equipnt and explained so precautions.

Both stood face to face on the skywalk, three hundred ters into the sky.

Fu Shiyan held her tightly in his arms, "How many tis have you bungee jumped?"

"Many tis, but it’s the first ti jumping with soone else."

Fu Shiyan laughed, "Sa for . Are you ready? We are about to jump."

"I’m ready."

As the last word dropped, the two of them toppled sideways, the surrounding scenery rapidly climbing upward in their eyes as they fell swiftly, the wind howling by their ears.

The elastic rope bounced them up and down in the air, An Yan clinging tightly to the man’s chest, feeling indescribable security.

Fu Shiyan said, "Yanyan, I love you."

"What?" The wind drowned out his voice.

Fu Shiyan shouted, "Yanyan, I love you."

An Yan laughed aloud, "Ayan, I love you too! Forever!"

The couple embraced each other, hearing only each other’s heartbeat.

Fu Shiyan had an illusion that he had known An Yan for a very long ti.

After bungee jumping, Fu Shiyan took An Yan to the pedestrian street in Guoli.

It was bustling with people coming and going as they wove through the crowd.

An Yan saw a cotton candy vendor on the street and couldn’t help tugging at the man’s sleeve.

Fu Shiyan gently rubbed her hair, "Want so?"

"Mhm."

He walked her over, "Let’s buy one of every flavor."

The vendor laughed, "There’s only one flavor, just different colors."

Fu Shiyan: "..."

An Yan laughed, "Didn’t you eat this when you were a kid?"

"No."

"I figured, soone like you probably wouldn’t eat this kind of stuff."

An Yan pointed to the pink cotton candy, "Boss, I want this one."

"Right away!" The vendor imdiately made a rabbit-shaped cotton candy and handed it to An Yan.

After Fu Shiyan scanned to pay, he grabbed the back of An Yan’s collar and led her forward, "Eat less of this stuff in the future, it’s all just artificial colors."

"It’s edible dye, so it’s not too bad."

Fu Shiyan watched as An Yan’s lips held onto a piece of cotton candy, the pink cotton candy sticking to the corners of her mouth. He rubbed his fingertips, "Look at you eating like a little kitten."

"Do you want so?"

"Would you give it to ?"

An Yan knew this man was always suggestive, what he said always carrying hints, so she retorted, "Take it or leave it."

"Then I’ll reluctantly try so."

An Yan stepped forward, and Fu Shiyan grabbed her wrist, pulling it aside and bending down to capture her lips.

It was a long while before the two parted.

Fu Shiyan looked at the girl’s moist, shiny lips and smiled, "Sweet to death. I said I wanted to kiss you in the sunlight, and that wish has been fulfilled."

Feeling the gazes from around them, An Yan pulled Fu Shiyan and hurried away.

Because they moved quickly and the cotton candy was too sweet, An Yan felt a bit thirsty.

Fu Shiyan teased her, "Didn’t I just give you so water?"

An Yan ground her sharp little teeth, "Fu Shiyan, how can you be so flirtatious!"

"As long as you like it." Watching the girl’s exasperated expression, Fu Shiyan felt a particular sense of accomplishnt, "Let tell you a secret, when a man flirts, it’s none of the woman’s business."

After saying this, he kissed An Yan on the cheek, "Wait for , I’ll go buy you so water."

An Yan stood under the bus stop sign, watching as the man crossed the street and entered a convenience store.

At that mont, An Yan’s phone vibrated.

She answered, it was from Jiangcheng Police Station, conveying a ssage from An Zaili who wanted to et her, claiming he had sothing important to discuss.

She knew An Zaili’s intention; it was simply his plea for her to let them off the hook.

She found it rather sad, they had intended to harm her, and now they were playing the sentintal card asking for forgiveness, wondering how there could be so many pardons in this world.

An Yan directly refused to et.

When Fu Shiyan returned with the water, he saw An Yan with a stern face, he furrowed his brow, "Why the long face?"

"An Zaili wanted to et , I refused."

Fu Shiyan steadied her by the shoulders, "Follow your heart, if you don’t want to see him, then don’t."

An Yan let out a light laugh, "I used to be disappointed, even desperate, but I still longed for kinship. However, these past four months, I’ve stopped expecting. Honestly, at one point I couldn’t bear to see An Zaili in jail, since he is related to by blood. But whenever I think about what they’ve done, I can’t help but feel chilled."

Fu Shiyan looked at her, "Those who do wrong must be punished. Even though An Zaili is your blood relative, it’s necessary for him to stay in there for a few months, otherwise, you would be letting yourself down. None of these people deserve forgiveness."

He twisted open the bottle cap, "Drink so water, don’t let these bad fishes spoil your mood."

An Yan took a few sips of water, looking up at Fu Shiyan, "I am planning to officially take over An Corporation next Monday."

"Whatever you do, I support you."

An Yan nodded, "Thank you, Ayan."

"Saying thanks with just words lacks sincerity."

An Yan tiptoed and kissed the handso man’s chin, "How about now?"

"Passable," Fu Shiyan’s eyes glead playfully, "Co on, Brother Yan will take you to trade in sunsets."

Fu Shiyan and An Yan each scanned a QR code for a shared bike, and the pair rode toward Taigu Bridge.

When they reached the start of Taigu Bridge, there was a long line of couples waiting.

"So many people, how long will we have to wait?" An Yan looked at the hundreds of people in front of them.

Fu Shiyan glanced over, "Wait here for ."

Watching the man’s retreating figure on the bike, An Yan really felt like laughing, Fu Shiyan was probably the most down-to-earth CEO there was.

Soon, Fu Shiyan rode back, "Let’s go, it’s all set."

An Yan blinked and followed him.

When they reached the front, they parked their bikes.

A young couple gave up their spot for them and continuously thanked Fu Shiyan.

An Yan was curious, "How did you manage it?"
