"That's another piece of that monster." Clark stabbed down as Shy had stopped one of the shadow swarm centipede sections from moving right in front of him. This was more than he could count at this point. The worst part was that these sections were larger.

Clearly, he was getting closer to the head of the monster he was hunting. But that wasn't necessarily a good thing right now. Especially since he could see that the monster sections had caused significant damage around the plateau.

While he had been moving around the chanical golems and the war golems, Clark had found the broken walls within this area. At least four had been torn avert, defenses and all. The only evidence that they had been there at all were the tal bases and tal sheets shredded around the ground.

The dwarves had a very dependable defense system. The walls were made of tough tal alloys. This kept them from having the basic beasts with earth affinities from being able to break through them easily. However, a wall was just a wall. That was why they had defenses prepared on them too.

The massive ballistas that had been mounted on them shot dense tal bolts. Most had explosive potions in the ends which were destroying the largest of the shadow swarm centipede sections. Each explosion caused a deafening shock to move through the air.

The unfortunate thign though, was that these were just enough to beat the basic sections. Not able to defeat multiple at once. This led to them being outnumbered and overrun. Leaving the dwarves to fight.

Hence, the chanical and war golems being the frontlines right now. Even with the walls being breached, many of the monsters were being killed on sight. Especially with Shy causing a lot of the monsters to struggle to move.

The growing number of golems all around Clark was matched with a few of the dwarves who had lost the chanical war golems that they controlled. They didn't even look at him differently. They were fighting the sa enemies, and that was all they needed right this second. No second guessing or complicated thinking. Just pure battle.

This had allowed Clark to make ntal notes of unique weapons that he had seen the dwarves using. Axes that were adjustable to fight at a pole ax range or to be used closer range. There were spears that could be thrown, then the tip broken off of and replaced to throw it again.

There was a single dwarf with an automatically reloading crossbow. The string, made of a dense tal, was being pulled back and small puffs of steam allowed Clark to understand why. It was an intricate weapon that proved many tis over the degree of dwarven forging.

He didn't have the ti to speak to any of them though. The monsters were growing in numbers as the opposition to them began to join up. It was a battle of battles and the sections of this massive number of monsters was following the orders of the main body brain. It knew that enemies were pushing up behind it to stop it.

"Two walls left, defend our ho!" the roar echoed almost as loud as the next explosion did. Enough that Clark felt he had entered a true battle field if he had ever seen one.

'War spirit horn- ultra rare

The war spirit horn is a spiritual and tal type beast. Its horn shape allows for it to use the tal aspect of its affinity to energy to create vibrations. These vibrations use the spiritual energy it possess to boost the morale of others around it by increasing the flow of energy within their body.

Due to its unique form, it is unable to use its skills without its partner. It is considered a beast incapable of combat. However, it is extrely powerful when used to support an army. Those that can gain its respect will often find that it gives them additional boosts to their energy sausages…'

This was the sound that had broken out around all of them. Clark was amazed to feel the energies in his body surge. It was like he had been given a potion to increase his energy temporarily. Yet, he knew that there would not be the sa side effects that a potion would have with this beasts' skill.

Feeling Devi warn him, Clark leaped to the side only to see a large section of tal hit the ground. in front of them was a slew of shadow swarm centipede sections. They had been tearing in to another wall. The buildings ahead of the walls just narrowly standing above the massive wall which anyone else would think of as impenetrable.

"Move over!" The shouts from Jerold shocked the dwarves that were around him. He had not been showing off his presence until now. Getting to the walls before Clark had been easy. He had managed to sneak around using his partner's camouflage. He was even able to ntion that there was a bigger battle close to so dwarves that had been patrolling closer to the wall.

Because of this, those dwarves had brought more allies and that horn which Jerold felt gave him more inspiration to move faster. Along with this, they had also showed how the golems were being brought through the walls.

Large sections were removable so that the space between the walls could be accessed. Jerold darted in to one and moved deeper. The next section he found himself in was full of ten tis more chanical war golems. All at the ready for the next order. All standing with the final wall that defined the dwarf's ho.

"Intruder!" The one that spotted Jerold was a dwarf holding an odd set of glasses. They radiated spiritual energy making him realize that this was a beast, not just so item that they had created. But that was fine, Jerold was away from the fighting for the ti being, and he had gotten the attention of the dwarf in charge.

As the chanical war golems surrounded him, he held up his hands. Every single marking and pin that he had showing off where he was from clearly displayed. "My na is Jerold from the Universal alliance. Every human city and the elven city are allied to fight the blood moon cutists. These monsters are the blood moon cultists and there are two main monsters.

My group is outside at the minding city ruins saving your people and our leader is fighting the most powerful monster right now. But we need to find the second."

"I ca here to beco allies!"

There was a sudden stop in the chanical war golems. A few dwarves brandishing weapons and wearing heavier armors ca near. It appeared that the one with glasses was still standing calmly while watching him.

"My partner, the crystal glasses can see through illusions and tell the basic truths from lies. Human child, you just told the truth. Sothing I have a hard ti believing. Say it again, but slowly." the dwarf moved a hand to make the golems take a step back. It was a lucky break.

As Jerold began explaining everything that he possibly could, the dwarf that had spotted him kept nodding and waving for different armored dwarves to co near. "What are these monsters that are attacking. What do you know." Jerold thought this sounded like progress. But he was sure that the dwarves were not just idly listening.

From what he could see, the golems were being moved. So dwarves were piloting them and beginning to leave for the battlefield. Different weapons had been prepared as they had heard about the darkness affinity and the fact that the shadow swarm centipede had tongue carapaces the larger the sections.

When he ntioned a water type monster that had spread adoption causing dwarves to beco monsters, they all froze. They had been warned of this happening. Of what had happened that had destroyed their moving mining city. They had received these warnings as a final ergency communication.

Now that they knew the threat was here with the other monster, they did not care at all what Jerold wanted when it ca to an alliance. They were ready to take down the villain that has caused them a lot more damage.

"Our allies should be on the way. The elves will reach here first to help us. They should be able to help with healing more than what our one healer can do. It will make things faster. Especially since they had Clark's beast plans to help their beasts." This changed the atmosphere again. The dwarves that heard the elves were coming did not appear happy.

"They are allies. Not enemies. They know that we were coming here to ally ourselves with you too. If we had been faster, we might have prevented you from being in this situation." As much as Jeorld wanted to just make it sound better, this was just reality. They didn't need to like one another.

The dwarven race right now, just wanted to survive.
