The entire area around Clark was a grassy field. Grass was all he could see from one side to the other. The tall grass blew in the soft breeze. If he didn't hear the words of the beast that controlled the dungeon, then he would not be able to process the radical change before him.

"Crim, this is the first floor of the sli dungeon. From what I can see, we will have to deal with wind type slis. Maybe more." There was nothing that Clark could see around. He started to think about what may be the way to progress and where he should go.

"If I am guessing correctly, we need to keep going down. The dungeon had stairs that led down when we entered. Therefore, we should keep moving through this field until we find stairs." Clark used the critical thinking he had trained over the years in this and his previous life. Not many people could think out problems like this but Clark felt blessed that he could.

While Clark removed the spear from his spatial ring for protection, Crim was taking cautious lead. He knew that Devi was keeping Clark's back safe so that ant that he was supposed to protect the front. The only weak points were their sides. It made all three of them realize that it might be better to welco in new companions one day. But this wasn't the ti for such thoughts.

"Crim, duck!" Clark saw an odd shape bounce up above the grass. At the sa ti, a row of grass was sliced flat with a wind blade that had co from the bouncing round shape.

Crim jumped and rolled narrowly avoiding the wind blade. He would have been fine to repair his body if he was hit, but that would slow his chance to attack. Therefore, Clark was able to hold back as Crim followed the now flattened grass to take out the slightly green ball of bouncing sli in front of them.

The bluish green color of the sli changed as it started to bounce again, unfortunately, it was too slow. Crim was much faster than it so he used his claws to pierce the body of the sli. The instant he touched the sli core it shattered. There was almost zero physical defense for the slis.

When Crim brought the small crystal to Clark, Clark could only be impressed. "Good job. That's one wind crystal for us to take ho." Before Clark could take a mont to consider the other dangers these wind slis might possess, there was the sound of three more wind blades approaching.

Clark and Crim both dove away from where they were. The entire area they had stood was cut down making it appear that a battle ground had been made for them. What was revealed were three slightly larger wind slis with heavier blue and green colorations. "Devi, see what you can do to the middle one. Crim and I will handle the others."

Without any worry that Devi would be exposed Clark began to use his ghostly steps to approach the wind sli on the left. He didn't worry that Devi would be exposed because he was not being watched by anyone but the beast within the dungeon.

That singular beast was only going to create a grade based on what Clark could do. It was not its job to report more than that. There was also the fact that Clark could feel that the beast was not interested in more after seeing the student's potentials.

With the falling moon pierce, Clark managed to stab at the wind sli's core. It had no way to resist the strength that Clark had after he had moved behind it. The sli may have been focused on Clark, but it was clearly only able to send out wind slashes once every so often. It took ti to build the energy.

What Clark did not realize was that the sli didn't actually have a back. It could see all around its body. As Clark stabbed the sli core, he saw that the sli had started to create a wind blade in his direction. There was no sneaking up on such an ani unless they could beco invisible like Devi.

While Clark learned this lesson, Crim had easily taken out the second wind sli with his claws. He had used the sa attack and was walking over to take the wind crystal to Clark. Devi was having the opposite. He was struggling. His bites were not piercing the sli and instead it was just trying to reshape itself after the damage was done.

Since Devi couldn't contact the core, even the spiritual damage was negated. It was an interesting outco that none of them expected.

With the anger that he could not attack the slis, Devi did sothing unexpected. He tried to change the shape of his own body. Sothing that Clark was not sure that Devi could have even done. Yet, before his eyes, he watched Devi form claws.

Large white claws with black tips. They grotesquely arched out of Devi's smaller body and slashed down with ominous energy. The energy seed to cause the sli body to shrivel and the core to shatter even though Devi had not made direct contact with the core. Clark could only stand in shock while he found that Devi's analysis had a new attack skill added.

"Devi, you figured out how to use the death energy from the other day in a claw attack. That attack is called deathly claws. It's even better than the dark type monsters shadows claw attack!" Clark was educated enough to know that the shadow claw attack was one that Devi could have gained using the darkness energy. But instead, he had focused on death energy.

The results were an attack Clark had not thought possible.

Naturally, Devi ca over to Clark and waited for further praise. He may have acted in anger, but he had managed to do sothing that felt natural. Sothing that he had felt click in to place as if waiting for the right mont. "If you keep that up we will have many more slis defeated in no ti."

The crystal from the sli that Devi attacked was fine, but it was clear that other energies had been forced to leave the sli body. The claws had also used a lot of Devi's energy. Clark could feel it. The attack was more powerful but ca with a price. "Just keep yourself in check when using it. I don't want you passing out in the middle of a fight."

"While Crim saw Devi's strength. He also saw that he was weak. Devi was the stronger beast between the two. How could Crim allow this? He was a dragon sli. A dragon!

This caused him to beco much more riled up compared to what Clark expected. And it was just in ti.

A massive wind blade shot through the air toward the group. They all managed to lay flat on the ground as soon as they heard the wind change. What they saw when they looked up was that a massive expanse of grass was flattened. An even larger wind sli was ahead of them. One that was still getting larger as the little slis lted in to it.
