"I will make sure that I co to your Nova academy next! My parents never let choose because I never care. Now I will be bringing them to your ho. You better go and win that tournant. I want to show up to a celebration!" The brother was very happy speaking to Ralph and Clark prepared to leave.
"My brother and I will both co. Even if mom and dad don't have the ti and want to send us alone. It happens sotis." The girl was also happy to say they would visit. She liked that Clark had even made comnts about sothing that he would not buy.
Most people would attempt to get what they wanted from rchants. They would even attempt to make up lies sotis. Especially when it ca to rarer materials. So the fact that Clark didn't buy the golden wheat and even noticed that it was aging a little too much was very important.
"I feel like I might be a little behind on this," Clark scratched his head realizing he had forgotten sothing very important. "But what is your family's na?" This was very important. If they ever had soone co looking for them, they should know the na of the rchant family.
"Cyan, we grew up in the Cayan village. Known for the flowers that grew there before a dungeon of fla wolves broke out and destroyed it all. My father and mother took the village na as our own and we have carried it everywhere. Plenty of people know of our village na!" The daughter of the Cyan rchants was incredibly happy to announce that.
So people would feel sad hearing this detail about a fallen village. However, the imnse provide in carrying the na made both Ralph and Clark understand. It wasn't a sad thing, it was joyous that the parents had escaped and carried the na to many different cities. To so many places. This made their village na and their family na well known, or at least it would be. It would not be forgotten.
There was beauty in that.
"If you two have ti, you can co and watch win a few matches. I am sure I will be on top."
"You can also co and visit Crim, I know he would like to et with your tal slis more. Especially when you find a rcury heart from an ore devouring centipede. That would make your tal slis grow pretty fast. But who am I to tell you that? Just an employee of a beat growth business." Clark gave a backward wave as he walked away. He didn't even look at the boy's stunned face.
It had been a mystery what materials his tals slis needed to grow. They were too uncommon.
"Did you find anything worth it?" Ralph was sure that things had gone well. He noticed that Clark possessed even more energy. It was too obvious, however, Clark also seed excited to show off. Naturally, this was the case and Clark tossed the ore amalgamation lump to Ralph.
It was a little heavy, but it was easy enough to get a handle on after a mont. "This is?"
"Food for your molten boar. It's an ore amalgamation. It has plenty of weird tal ores stuck together. It could help unlock another skill or sothing for your molten boar. It might just help stabilize and increase energy though. That depends on the ores in it.
Even I don't know." While the mystery aspect was true, Clark wanted to see first hand what would happen. He truly believed that the molten boar had not even scratched its current potential due to the fact that it was still stabilizing its new strength.
"Great… I will make sure it's eaten sooner than later." Clark watched the ore amalgamation fall in to Ralph's taming space. "I know that's not all though. You have to have a few other things. I saw you were even grabbing so elental crystals at the end too so you could round out the price."
"I did find a few things. A dragon egg shell for Crim. it's from a rare dragon. Should help him a lot. And another beast for Isa. I know it's a little rude, but once she sees the potential…well, I know Isa will jump at it." Clark had already understood Isa well enough.
He knew that she would not shy away from an investnt. Especially one that could beco much better than she expected.
"I also grabbed sothing odd, this thing is a demon's calling card. It has so demon energy trapped in it and it can summon a demon beast. I won't use it. But I feel like it might have sothing unique…maybe sothing we can do with it. I just had a feeling." Clark didn't hide the black playing card. It was strange, but Ralph seed to flinch away from it.
"You can't feel how weird that thing is? I wouldn't touch that for a million gold coins. Just don't use it at all. That's what I would do. And maybe destroy it if I was sure it would work." The reaction from Ralph made Clark realize that Ralph had a slightly better set of instincts. He had a boar type beast, a beast hunted by others.
That ant it had stronger instincts. That must have been shared with Ralph without anyone realizing it.
"I don't have plans for it. I just want to keep track of it for now. But it is important. The Cyan family probably just collected it as a unique and unknown item. I didn't tell them I knew what that was in detail. Just that I wanted it." Clark didn't see that Ralph wanted to talk much more about it after that.
Which was fair. It was a risky item and Clark could be playing with fire.
"There are the others, they are waiting there already." Isa and Maria were at the rchant road center. There were plenty of small fire pits built in to the street to keep the entire area warm. That alone made it the perfect place for tourists like them to stop. However, it was also just a generally nice place to rest for the ti being.
It was where the food stall owners had claid as their place of business.
"We got you two so food too. These are roasted white rabbits. The at is apparently top of the line without the fur in the way. I made a trade, four for four. The stall owner was more than happy to help out. He cooked them and got himself so furs for his wife." Isa was not seeing this as a loss but a great trade.
She had also chatted about local delicacies and other food related businesses.
"They sll great! I will take it!" Ralph was on the food like it was about to run away. Clark felt his stomach growling too. He had totally forgotten about eating today.
"We found so interesting things. The first two places and the small stops were useless. Just little stalls with art or other fake stuff from so place here or there. The last larger stop, the Cayn family's traveling stall was great. The four of them have good eyes and they will visit us at our academy in the future." Clark was casual about all of this.
"The ore amalgamation was for Ralph's partner. It will help in a few ways. I found a behemoth dragon egg shell piece for Crim. I rounded out with so energy crystals. I bought a random item that I will show you later. It's not important though.
I need to find more information about it. Then I bought you a new beast egg. You are still missing wind, right?" Isa nearly dropped her food.
"You bought a what?" She was a little angry off the bat. Maria was even looking at Clark like he had done sothing very wrong.
"It is a weak little beast… The wind elental caterpillar. I thought you would like it. I even bought you the jade wind tree seeds and dried leaves. If you get a wind monarch butterfly, that will make you very powerful. And maybe let you fly at that point. But if you don't like it…well, I'll just sell it to soone else."
Ralph and Maria saw the look of frustration break away from Isa's face. She knew exactly what a wind elental caterpillar was. She knew exactly how valuable they were if they were raised correctly. Even more, she knew how valuable they would be to her since they could fuse with her body and have their own physical body. It would give her power over wind no matter how weak its body was.
And, it would only grow more powerful.
"Here it is. Your taming space should easily be able to adjust and grow a wind based plant, right? It will be easier after you make a bond with the egg. The best part is, you only need wind elental energy crystals to bond with it.
That's a perk of a beast that is very weak and takes a long ti to grow." Clark watched Isa nearly drop her food again while standing up to take the egg and the materials.
