"What do we do now?" Grace was not holding back in the least. She had been holding herself calm for way too long. Now she was finally going to be able to feel the full connection with her partner again.

Being cut off from a spirit beast was many tis worse than being disconnected from a tad beast. A tar was born with their spirit beast. They were already one in the sa when it ca to their souls. They were attached to one another deeper than any beast could even be when tad. But it wasn't just that, they shared their energies with one another.

It was like losing a part of themselves completely.

Everyone knew this so they did not hesitate to let Grace and Clark work. The thods that Clark had told them. They would go off and hunt alone to strengthen themselves while Clark and Grace could work. Ella was not going anywhere and Clark had already known that so he hadn't even bothered to say anything.

"The energies in the air won't be enough to go beyond the limit we have before us." Clark had seen what the system had to say about the wind whistler growing in to the frost finch. They could simply open the box now and the frost finch would have the body it made from the unique ice energies. But it would just be that, a simple frost finch.

"Then what do we need to make it completely grow?" Grace believed that Clark was doing this because he knew that the partner she had could go well above what was predicted. Also because she believed he had a plan for a better version of the frost finch. This was what she believed he had planned. In reality, there was a little more experinting from what Clark had learned.

"We need to find the densest area for ice energies in this entire dungeon. It's a small dungeon with one single floor. It's just this field. But tell , where do the white rabbits live? Where do they go to absorb energy after they eat the ice type herbs that grow here?" Ella could already see what Clark was going with this.

She felt that she could easily guess the next step but held herself there so that grace could learn.

"We are going to look for their dens? They have to live under the ground, right? Doesn't that an we will see the mother white rabbits? Won't they be more dangerous?" this was a given. Danger and reward were always hand and hand in life.

"Yes." That was all Clark had to say as he released Crim and Devi from his taming space. "You two go and explore. If you catch anything bring it here so we can take it with us. Shy and I will help out around here." With the permission to explore, Crim and Devi didn't waste the chance. Clark rarely let them run wild so they wanted to make the most of it.

Devi left to explore whatever darker spots there were around the bushes. He enjoyed the ominous hiding spot to trap his prey here and there. The small joy was nothing though, he still felt the sa way as Clark and wanted to use his powers to do more. That was why he would maximize his hunting while waiting for prey. Any death energy left in this dungeon would be his for the taking.

Crim was a little different. He just charged out in to the middle of the field. His goal was not to hunt but to train himself. The cold was sothing of an enemy to so slis. His body had not been tempered in the coldest ices yet. Most dragons were naturally resistant to the ice and snow anyways, but Crim wanted to enhance this.

The best way was to let his body lose the shape of a dragon that he always held. To expose parts of his core to the ice.

This would refine the resistances to ice and snow slowly. It would be painful, Chro would feel every little thing. His core was the very center of his being. He could lose sli and feel nothing, but when his core was hard he felt it truly. Clark sensed this but kept himself steeled, he felt the determination that ca with the pain Crim was adding to himself.

"Shy, this will be a good chance to get a little stronger. The dens we are going to search will be all in shadows." Shy still pretended to be a doll but Clark felt a warm feeling through their bond. Shy was very excited to get stronger just like her older siblings. She had seen them in the taming space and had been in awe. now she would rival them.

Both Grace and Ela watched carefully. Ella had already done the sa as Clark. She let every single one of her beasts out of the taming space to explore. She knew that the weaker beasts here would not be a challenge. But they would be ideal punching bags for them to beco more comfortable with their bodies.

The living mist and spirit baby alone could work the best together with illusions and enhancents. They would be the ones that could confuse every single target that ca in contact with Ella. The blue fla skeleton and the earth prince were different.

The blue fla skeleton was fighting against the cold to maintain a perfect fla. It would need to resist the cold in the north much more heavily than others. The earth prince, on the other hand, had to resist freezing and losing its body. A frozen earth body was harder to move than a normal earth body. Luckily it had the body of ores and tals it had made that helped it do so.

"Where do you think we should-" Grace was carrying the body with her partner in it and not looking down. The next mont, she had found herself in a pile of snow, flat on the ground. She had tripped over one of the very things that she was looking for.

"There you go Shy, good luck and If you need help I will crawl in behind you." Clark just stifled his laughter when looking at Grace and set Shy down. She extended her legs and crawled in to the hole shocking Grace as she got up. She had not expected that the little doll Clark had been talking to was actually a beast and not so crazy antic that Clark used.

She had just thought him a very odd genius.

The shadows in the tunnel entrance seed to extend. Shy didn't need to go fully in to the den. She just released her control of the shadows and created multiple shadow threads. They snaked out catching the three white rabbits hiding in their dens.

The ice energy had been stronger in the den interfering slightly with Shy's energy. But it was not enough to stop her. The shadow threads wrapped around and took control of the rabbits. They were in the dark of their den with only a slight glow of ice that could potentially illuminate them.

The attack was over n seconds. The loss of control that ca with Shy's influence made the rabbits attack each other. It was a battle that was perfectly controlled as if they were puppets. That was the strength that Shy had. The strength that could control other beasts, the strength that was feared in the past.

Shaggy returned in a few seconds with the bodies being pulled by her shadow threads. She also had the small ice crystals that had been illuminating the den. They were too small to be of much use to any beast just yet. But they were why the den had been made for the three white rabbits.

"Good work, we will see if we can find a larger den for you." Clark stored away the materials and bodies before picking Shy up. She was back to her facade as a doll. Grace looked at her with so fear in her eyes. She knew that it had only been a few monts but this little beast had easily defeated, captured, and found materials in the den.

It was too fast for a beast that was clearly still weak after hatching from an egg.

"Looks like there was a little shadow energy in that den too. I bet it's because they are always underground that they had a little with them. I bet when we find a larger den you will have a good snack." Clark was pleasantly surprised by the small shadow energy that had been in the den that Shy picked up.

anwhile, Grace and Ella shared a confused look. They hadn't imagined that Clark would be doting on his beast so much. He already doted on Crim and Devi by handing them chances to get stronger. But now, he was doing it without any sha in the least. It truly made them wonder if he was still a child or just a very loving tar.
