"I have never seen sothing so terrible in my life." Doc was trying to accept that he had sohow been brought to this position. He had been a young and brilliant researcher alongside his sister. They had managed to make their lives valuable by finding new and improved thods of beast growth.
Many years had gone by and he had beco a person of stature among his peers. Nova Academy had beco his ho. Yet right now, Doc questioned if he had ever done a single thing correctly in his life. Nothing should bring a boy to such pain. Nor should a beast endure such a horrendous process. If he hadn't known the situation, he would swear that Clark and his team were pure evil.
Ralph had reached another level of pain. He could not remain unconscious as bruises ford and healed across his body in response to the pain that his beast felt. On the other hand, the bloody chrysalis that had ford around the boar was clearly changing. The shell of blood had been altering its appearance as parts of the boar shifted inside.
The sound of breaking bones and tearing flesh seed to change in to grinding tal.
The heat that had begun to flow out of the boar as well was surprising. There had not been a fire material added to the mix. The fire energy had co strictly from the boar. "I believe the boar had a dormant fire typing that was never going to be awakened in this growth period. That's why it should be possible to change to a forced evolution, molten boar." Clark easily saw the connection.
It was not possible before but now it was.
"If that is the case, then it could have taken the scorched iron boar growth plan from the start. Not many people have a scorched iron boar. They are very rare beasts among the nobles who are lucky enough to hunt down a boar with fire and tal typing. Normally they are ignored for purer elental beasts though." Ella was able to shine so light on this though.
"DAAMMMNNN ITTTTTT!!!" Ralph scread out as his face turned red. It was very clear that he was running a major fever, but this was a turning point. The shell covering the boar had begun to crack. It was as if the temperature was the final catalyst to cause a change in the tal elent of the boar.
Just as they thought things would get worse, the shell around the boar shattered. The sll of lting tal was paired with cracking and heating tal. It was cooling and lting in cycles all over the boars' back.
Long tallic tusks took the place of normal bone tusks. The hair that was previously tallic was red hot and sotis lting back in to the skin of the boar. Even flas burned in its eyes while it seed to exhale a toxic steam.
'Molten boar- legendary
The molten boar is a forced elental fusion of fire and tal. It is a beast not normally ford in nature due to the toxicity of molten tals it consus. The hair and tallic parts of its body will often overheat causing them to lt back in to the body to reform. The positive of this is that it can heal its injuries much faster than its previous steel haired boar body.
It is extrely resistant to any poisons while also being able to exhale toxic fus in the area it is battling. It has the unique trait to constantly increase the temperature around it to the point that it can burn others just by being near them.
When hit with water, its body becos tougher talking on a stronger tallic trait with higher defenses. Too much water or cold will decrease its strength and force the boar in to a dormant state waiting for heat. The best way to grow this beast…'
Clark only read so much from the system's analysis. He was focused on the fact that Ralph had begun to calm down and was barely awake anymore. "Hey, Ralph. It worked. You just need to rest. Just let us work out what materials you need for your taming space while we help your partner rest." Ralph's eyes fluttered upon hearing this.
He was still feverish and clearly had exhausted all his energy. The next few days would be a forced recovery for him.
"Clark, if this happens again, I can not sit back. That was too intense and not at all how beasts should be raised." Doc finally spoke again. He had not interfered but was very unhappy. He could not willingly allow this to happen.
"Then you should go get the rest of their first year team. If the other four mbers t with the senior hired by the Mourne family's son then they will be poisoned too. If they don't lose their beasts before they get here, you might watch sothing like that again." Clark didn't even pretend to hide it. He would do this again if he had to. He had to protect the others on the team.
"What! This was intentional!?" Doc's fury finally broke the seal. He couldn't hold it back any longer. He had to stop this from happening. He had seen the state of the boar before it had undergone this terrible process.
After Doc rushed out of the lab, Clark was able to refocus again. "He will gather the other four for us. I doubt we will be able to do anything against the senior students but at least we will be able to get people together. I don't think the other four are from our elite class. I think they had a low profile.
"That was a little sneaky. But it is safer to send a professor to get the rest of our team. I just hope they are safe." Maria was also stressed that the other four may have been found by the fourth year that was paid by her older brother. She might not be part of the Mourne Family anymore but it was not letting her go.
"That scorpion is bad news. I just wonder what the poison it has is and how to deal with it. I just need more information about it." Clark was more mumbling to himself but Ella had heard him.
"The scorpions are a unique beast. They live in dry to wet climates. It is tough to decide what to do. So have poison that does nothing. Others are so toxic that they can lt the flesh of their prey. There is s high chance that it will be different for every single type of scorpion beast out there." It hurt to hear this since Clark wanted it to be simple.
Unfortunately, like most things in life, It was not simple at all.
'Quest: healing evolution- completed
After the host's acceptance of a new teammate, they had discovered that their teammate has been gravely injured. Healing them and their beast is not a simple task. It is one that will require them to surpass their ntal and physical limits.
Requirent: fully heal and evolve the steel haired boar in to the molten boar. Ralph must survive
Reward: system gotcha special ticket or a hidden gotcha ticket. Host's choice.'
Clark saw that the system had shown the quest completed as Ralph's breathing had stabilized. His molten boar's breathing had also cald and fallen in to a sleep cycle. The pair was completely asleep and resting. The lab might not be the best place for a nap but it was a safe place for the mont. They two didn't need to worry about anyone coming to bother them.
"I think now would be a good ti to ditate a little more. When Doc gets back we can worry about the other teammates." Clark decided that they should use the situation to the fullest. But that didn't an that he had Devi leave them alone. After a few ntal directions, Devi floated about invisibly to patrol the lab. It was a simple precaution.
"I agree. The best thing to do is to stabilize any growth that we have all had. We can share our strengths and new techniques later." Ella fully supported this. Mostly because she had a lot more changes than the others due to her multiple beasts and taming space. All of them needed to stabilize their strength before she had to battle in the third year tournant.
"We should be able to travel together on the journey to the northern academy and city. That will give us a good chance to show off and learn a little of the new things we know. It will also be the perfect chance to collect more materials." Isa was still thinking business. But she had a point. The north would have unique materials just the sa as Star city had.
Now they could all worry about getting materials to trade for them and bring back. It would be even better if they were able to find so extrely rare materials from the north to return with. Just another thing to look forward to.
