Sandworm egg…

Sandworm egg

Giant sandworm egg- rare

The giant sandworm egg is a sandworm that has a higher concentration of the ancient giant worm bloodline. It is able to grow in to a much more powerful beast throughout its life. The defenses are known to be tough enough to carve through mountains. It is able to eat tough ores and eventually loses the sandworm's na when it reaches adulthood, becoming a giant earthworm.

They are rarely seen due to the fact that they prefer to live in deep caves closer to where ores and gems are ford.

They are purely earth type beasts that have a great weakness to water. There are three paths for them to grow in to, giant magma worm, gluttonous earthworm, and the gem worm. The three are known as the toughest ultra rare worm beasts on the world, second only to the ancient giant worms which had earth, fire, and spiritual typing.'

"Ha! This is one of the giant worm eggs. It's perfect." Clark thought that his constant analysis of all the eggs was proving to be fruitless. He had finally found an amazing analysis with the system that gave him incredible information.

He had not considered the fact that he had a beast egg that could beco such a powerful beast in the future. There were stories of magma worms that could cause entire villages to beco pits of molten lava. But he had never considered that he would hold the egg to a beast that could beco one.

"What are the differences? There is a small change in size but is that it?" Ella was sketching the egg and needed the details so that she could record them. With that, they would have the ability to sell these eggs in Star city with more backing than usual.

"See the lines here? They look like sandstone but this fat line is different. All the sandworm eggs are identical but this line is different. That separates it from the others. The size isn't always an identifier, it is just one of many identifiers." Sharing this with Ella, Isa, and Maria was second nature now. He had been constantly sharing things about the items they had gained.

"I don't think that's as cool as the materials we found. The large earth crystal will sell for five gold at least!" Isa was more focused on the materials because they had a set price. They would make the group money no matter what.

"What about the other pieces of ore we found? Those are just as good?" Maria didn't want the heavy pieces of ore they found to be neglected. She had taken the ti to separate them and start pages for each one.

'Starlight iron- ultra rare

The starlight iron is a piece of iron ore forced to the surface by beasts in the wild. It was out on a clear moonless night causing it to absorb a unique moonlight energy. This ore can be fed to a certain beast or even used to forge a weapon. The weapons forged with it will have a significant boost to their strength during the nightti.

So much so that so weapons made with starlight iron are considered innately magical.'

Clark was careful to morize this. It was a solitary piece of ore they found but one with potential. "I know the ores are important too. I personally want to hold on to the starlight iron. It could be very good for later. Plus, it's a rare material for us to use." Clark made it seem that he was keeping business as the focus.

"The real question is, do we just sell it all for a basic asking price…or…" Clark looked at Isa, she was already brimming with energy having figured out what he would say. "Do we sell it at an auction and reap a great harvest. We do have a business license now, right Isa? That ans that we have the right to sell this and a full docuntation growth plan with the giant sandworm eggs."

"We will do just that when we get there! That ans anyone who is looking to grow a powerful beast will be able to try and do it. There have to be so rich bastards that will throw a hundred gold at such a deal." Isa was like a rabid animal finding their prey.

"I think we should focus on the rest of the journey. Haven't you noticed that a lot of people had their materials taken away by Doc today?" Maria was right. Their group was being watched with jealousy and glares.

The students that had chased the giant sandworm had not only been in a poor situation that caused them to run. They had also interfered with each other accidentally which warranted a lesser punishnt from Doc. This punishnt was having their current findings taken from them.

They were lucky. The silver lining was that five stone falcons had arrived to fight the elder sandworm that was there. This allowed the students to fill out their docuntation about the stone falcon fully. It was both good and bad. They were not going to fail but had taken a financial hit. They were jealous that Clark's group had managed to avoid this.

"Now listen up! I thought that we would stay here for the night. But I changed my mind. Sothing much better is waiting for us in the dark ahead. We will travel through the night for two hours before we reach our next resting spot." Doc announced this and lit a torch. He wasn't joking, he expected everyone to be moving as soon as possible.

"I don't like this. Night is a great ti to cause trouble." Maria looked right at the two Cain family mbers who were already grinning like hyenas that had just sighted a weak prey.

"It's the water sprite forest. I bet we will see sothing great there at night and Doc wants everyone to experience it. But I don't think we will make it there easily." The way that Doc spoke was in challenge. It was telling every student that the sandworms were not so great tests. Instead, it was a small warm up to the real test.

"Water sprite forest? I wonder how you have known all this. I feel like you have an advantage." Ella was still not privy to the fact that Clark had been told more in detail than others. Isa had expectations that it was the case, but Calrk had not expressly told that to Ella.

"My ntor likes to give information as a reward in training. The water sprite forest is the next destination. Not that I have ever seen a water sprite." Clark hadn't been able to study much about water sprites so he would play the fool until he got there.

"If there are water sprites then I might be able to help my ice maiden get stronger." Isa was completely distracted. Clark hadn't considered that water sprites would be beneficial for the ice maiden at all that Isa had as her beast.

"Tell us what you need. We have two hours to figure it out." Clark, Maria, and Ella all agreed when Clark spoke. They didn't mind helping Isa out with this.

"But first, we need to deal with the Cain family. They will be trying sothing after the second failure today." The Cain family group had been one group caught up in the penalty of item confiscation. Now they were even angrier and more reckless.

"You said one of their beasts was a spider. That's going to be easy to avoid since they haven't sent it out to lay traps. But the other beast. I have a bad feeling about it." Ella was sure that the other beast the Cain family had would be the one to cause them trouble. It was written on their faces that they had a secret.

The first carriage started to pull away down the trail. Doc was at the lead with a torch sohow moving faster than the carriages on foot. Clark was only a little jealous about the strength that soone gained when they beca powerful. When they were considered the top of the academy as a professor with real battle prowess.

Unfortunately, the Cain family group set things up the sa as before. They were second to last with Clark's group in last. They didn't even wait five minutes to slow themselves and begin to separate from the main group.

The mont that there was a gap enough that Clark's group could barely see the torch that Doc carried, the Cain family group sped up. But Clark managed to see one thing as the carriage ahead of them rushed away.

He saw a single small silhouette of a beast dart in to the woods. It was not a spider but sothing with four legs. Sothing that his analysis had easily caught on to and read like an open book. He knew what they were going to face during the two hour nightti travel.
