I wake up feeling so kind of movent in my room. I open my eyes and wasn’t even a but surprised when I saw who it was, of course it’s my student Cairda.
This ti however, I was able to feel when she entered the room unlike last ti where she entered my room and I keep sleeping as a log.
"It’s been a while, how has you been." I said to her as I sat on my bed.
How many days it has been since we last t, maybe two days... or three, I don’t rember correctly but not think much about it a it’s not sothing important.
"Good." She said in a cold voice as she down on the chair nearby.
I don’t show any reaction to her cold treatnt since that too isn’t important, what’s important is the work I assigned to her the last ti I t her.
It was to keep an eye on tom, the only scoin I know of and the person who has misunderstanding in his mind that I am his underling.
"Is you report ready." I asked her. Even by her standards of doing things, it is just too fast considering Cairda doesn’t like leaving loopholes in her missions and who knows there was soone strong protecting Tom from the shadows.
Cairda don’t answer my question and just gave a file which I assu is her report on tom. I opened it and it really has a so of information I don’t know before about him and his family and friends.
But it wasn’t much, it is just a small introduction about then with only na and pictures of his family mbers and friends, including his two 16 years old sisters and his bomb shell looking mother.
Thier was also his father picture who look like a typical old man but who cares about a middle aged dude, atleast I don’t.
After going through this limited information once, I decided on one thing, even I don’t know what will be the end of Tom’s story, I don’t know will he die or not but I know one thing about him, I know that he is in need of a step father.
This is what my instincts are telling and I already have said previously that they are never wrong.
That’s why even if he dies, I will continue being a dead son’s step father and support his mother. She may need it after losing her son.
As for my future step daughters, they still need to wait for so ti and thier body to grow, I am not a sex-fiend who attack under-age girls.
Though *cough* *cough* I would prefer if thier height don’t increase much, I believe that a man should continue trying new things in life, but 16 is still isn’t that underaged, should I go for it. (A/N:- Tell poor alex what should be do.)
However, there were many things missing here in this report, like information on his family and friends is limited to only na and photo.
I imdiately had so doubts as this work doesn’t look as if it is done by cairda, she likes takes her ti and always gives a perfect report.
"Did he find out about you or caught you keeping an eye on you."
It is only thing I can think of after reading this half-assed report of hers, she wouldn’t have given an early report if nothing would have happened.
And I was right as cairda nodded as she started giving him a brief explanation of what tom has been doing and what had transpired today as her reason for coming here.
"For the first 2 days, I found nothing suspicious about him except how difficult it is to talk with a won if she isn’t his friend and that he locked himself in his room from early night, about 8 p.m. to late morning but it looks normal to .
I just thought he sleep for long ti considering how much ti he spend in the bar every evening drinking with his friend, the white haired guy, Max.
But yesterday evening, it was different. He and his friend Max went to mall and buy a lot of thing, like gifts and clothes.
As for why they buy it, I don’t know that ti and thought that they were just going to another bar or party but I got the answer today." She said as take a brief pause as if thinking how to continue the story.
After a mont of silence, she started speaking again, "Since early morning today, Tom has been waiting for soone in a cafe, he dressed up in the clothes sa they brought yesterday and also has the gifts he brought with his friend.
It seems that he had a date with soone and he sead to be very eager about it, but he was very unfortunate.
As for who was going to go on a date with him, I don’t know since no one show up. He keep waiting for her to show up for a long ti and it take him about an hour to realise that he has been made a fool." Cairda said as she signed, she can relate himself with her past self.
Her past is the reason why she has trust issues, but she put that on the back of her mind. They are not talking about her and she should focus on what she is doing.
"In a fit of frustration, he left and directly go to a bar and buy alcohol. After he was high on alcohol he left the city while wobbling, I thought he is high on alcohol but" she stopped suddenly which cause alex to look at him with curious eyes.
"But suddenly he- he ca back to sensing and started running in the forest, but it was not like he was running wildly. I think he has a destination in his mind and he was trying to reach sowhere.
I tried following him and followed him for soti but" Cairda looked at Alex who was watching her with curious expression and continued her story which was about to reach its climax.
"But he overrun and... and suddenly vanished, I tried finding him but, it was as if he was no longer there." Cairda himself know what she was saying was hard to believe that’s why she has low hopes of him believing her. She don’t know how wrong she is.

I continued hearing what cairda was saying, at first it was nothing but so amusent learning how much shy he is to girls.
But that amusent soon turned into pity when he heard how he was kept waiting for a date but no one shows up.
But then my mind kept started giving warning signs when she reached the forest part and she told about him vanishing.
I imdiately understand that destiny is at work here, it must be a opportunity for him to gain a power- up and beco stronger, or him finding so kind of treasure. ’I can’t let him have this power- up’ I thought.
I imdiately reacted to this, as I quickly packed a bag full of all necessary things which I think a person might need while he is in the forest.
I also take things which I don’t think may be necessary but still take them in case and pulled Cairda outside and giving her car keys.
"Take there." I told her as I put the bag on the back seat and sat beside her, who was on driver seat. I closed my eyes and started focusing on practicing the next mana spell, mana barrier.
Though I might be stronger than I was in the past, having one or more protective asures don’t hurt either and what is better than mana in the cultivation world.
Soon, we reached the outskirts of the city and from there, Cairda and we travelled on foot as we leave the city and entered the forest.
After travelling for so ti, we reached the the place where she saw Tom last ti.
"It is the place where I last saw him. He ran in that direction before he disappeared." She said pointing in right direction.
I nod to her and gave her the car keys, a one million card and a piece of paper, " You should leave for now, I will call you to pick up. Don’t return before that and this list contain so things which I want you to arrange." I said to her before I started moving in the direction she pointed at.
Cairda waited for soti before before leaving, she has new task on hand to finish.
I continue walked in the direction Cairda pointed at not even knowing if it my search will bear any fruit or not untill I got a notification from the system.

I imdiately know the answer if I was moving in the right direction or wrong. It seems that Tom entered this array and cairda followed him and it cause her to loose sight of her due to array influence.
