Tom felt a pang of disappointnt and sha. He had been afraid this was the case, but hearing it confird still hurt. "I know," he said quietly. "But I’ve been trying so hard. I don’t understand why I can’t seem to make any progress."
The dragoness was quiet for a mont before responding. "It’s not just about trying hard, Tom. Your speed is already good.
But your environnt definitely isn’t, don’t you see how strong those real powerhouses are in that dungeon. I think you need to leave this place." She said as Tom nodded to her, understanding what she was saying.
"But there’s sothing else," Tom said, hesitating for a mont. "I feel like there are so things I don’t rember clearly from the dungeon. Like soone or sothing was blocking my mories."
The dragoness paused for a mont before responding. "Tom don’t worry about it, it’s not uncommon in the dungeon. Just be more cautious next ti and try to protect your mind as well as your body."
She said after thinking for a bit, even though she knows what really happened as those small seal on his soul didn’t shop her and she checked everything after waking up, she decided it is really better for him not to know what really happened.
Tom felt relieved to hear this, but also a bit skeptical. He couldn’t help but wonder if the dragoness was hiding sothing from him. But he decided to let it go for now and focus on improving his cultivation.
"Thanks for your help.," he said, feeling a bit more hopeful. "I’ll keep working on my cultivation and so should we go to the mountains for a couple of days."
"Tom, I’m glad to hear you’re committed to your cultivation, but I should warn you that it may take more than just days maybe even a whole year of intensive training in the mountains to reach the peak of body strengthening even with your speed, it can’t happen in the matter of days.
You should be lucky that you are coming back in just an year, many people spend thier lifeti but are not able to reach and achieve what you will in just an year, I promise you that." the dragoness replied.
Tom’s face fell at the ntion of leaving college and his family behind for that long, but he knew how important it was to beco stronger. "But what about my studies and my family? I can’t just leave them behind for that long," he protested.
"Actually, for , an year is like a day of not even less, it is a very small ti if you reach higher level Tom, you need to increase your point of view.
And we have that person nad Alex whom we teached that disguise technique. He can change his face to look like you. He can take your place at college and with your family while you focus on your training in the mountains.
It will only be for a couple of months, and then you can return and resu your life while normal and be stronger than you ever have been." She said after thinking for a bit.
Tom listened what she said before he spoke up with a bit of dissatisfaction, "I’m sorry, maybe I am a very narrow minded person but an year for is a long ti and I’m not sure if I can fully trust Alex yet. He’s only been with us for a short ti, and I don’t feel comfortable having soone I don’t fully know living with my family."
"I understand your concerns, Tom," she said, her eyes glowing slightly. "We still don’t know if Alex is trustworthy or not and how he will treat those sisters of yours, but we can always make sure he understands that they are your family and should be treated as such.
Once he understood who they he is up against, he won’t dare to steps out of line, it’s just a matter of we will use our power to make sure he understands his place or not."
Tom nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "Thanks. That definitely makes feel a lot better about the situation.
Now the question is, how should we contact him. It’s weekends starting tomorrow and I don’t even have is phone number. I really want to leave for training as soon as possible."
As Tom was speaking, his phone began to ring. He looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Kiba, one of his classmates. "Hey Kiba, what’s up?" Tom answered.
"Hey man, just wanted to invite you to my party tomorrow night," Kiba said excitedly. "It’s gonna be wild, you should totally co."
Tom hesitated for a mont. He knew that he needed to focus on his training, but a part of him also wanted to let loose and have so fun. "Sure, sounds good," he finally said. "Hey, is Alex gonna be there?"
"Yeah, he is actually. Why do you ask?" Kiba responded.
Tom then contacted Dragoness in his mind, silently asking for her opinion. She nodded, indicating that they could use this opportunity to discuss the situation with Alex. "No reason," Tom said casually. "I’ll see you tomorrow, then."
As he hung up the phone, Tom then said to Dragoness. "Looks like we’ll have a chance to talk to Alex tomorrow at Kiba’s party," he said. "Hopefully we can work sothing out."

(Alex POV)
It was Saturday morning when reached the house he was searching for, he rechecked again if it is the right address and sure it was.
I received this address from the sa man which Darcy killed on that mission, he was also the one who ’gave’ that locket related to ice elent, but unfortunately he gave that after dying.
Anyway, there were also other things in that wallet like his family photo, his ID with na and all and his address which helped find his house.
It has been about ten days since that incident and it was only now that I ca here, my day yesterday was spend in the dungeon but unfortunately we aren’t able to reach even the third floor.
But we collected a lot of loot which was stored in ’system inventory’ and DP or SP while we were at it.
While we were on the second floor, we could see that we were near as we found another source of light just like the one on the first floor between these cave before we started moving toward it, but left the dungeon after reaching the boss room of the second floor deciding to fight the boss.
The monsters on the second floor as well as the environnt was sa as the first floor, even the level was the sa unlike boss who have lvl 2 but these on second floor have mana and a single magic skill of rock bullet which keep us on our toes as they could also injure if hit sensitive area like head.
That’s why, we decided to take a break from the dungeon as we have no idea what kind of monster might be waiting for us in the boss room as even a lvl 1 could have injured , much less lvl 2 with a magic skill.
By the way, I also purchased all the things in harem shop and combat shop, they were thermal vision glasses, boots of speed, a tracking locket and the cupid arrow.
The glasses were a the best purchase as they were able to help able to see through these walls in the cave whenever I fed it with mana. The shoes were also helpful but instead of 100, only 20 points were given as system said that breaking sound barrier might be harmful for my current body.
The things from harem shops which were a locket, I have that to Cairda and kept the cupid arrow in my inventory, I decided to try making a bow in the workshop but anyway, after I purchased all these, both the shops were empty and went to refresh for a day.

As I rank the bells a couple after parking my car at the door, the door of the house suddenly opened up, an a girl in my view.
Her face is round with soft features that give her a gentle and friendly appearance. Her light blue hair is styled in a loose and flowing manner, falling down her back and framing her face.
Her golden eyes are a prominent feature of her beauty, conveying a sense of calm and serenity as she look at with a gaze that can appear intense, almost as if trying to pierce through with her face covered expression showing emotionless or serious.
