Upon arriving at the defensive wall, Xiao Zhan noticed Ye Anu and the others were not there and curiously asked an aide-de-camp.
"Where is Ye Anu?"
"General Ye received a communication and has returned to the dical center."
A communication?
The dical center?
Xiao Zhan had a bad premonition.
He hurriedly made his way towards the dical center.
Before he reached the dical center, Xiao Zhan felt a wave of sadness.
He released his Perception and instantly understood what had happened, his expression changing imdiately.
Entering the room.
Everyone imdiately turned their gaze towards him.
After a brief mont of surprise, the atmosphere beca heavy again.
"You’re back, how did it go?"
Ye Anu casually asked.
"Everything went smoothly."
Xiao Zhan replied.
Ye Anu nodded.
Then, Xiao Zhan looked towards the bed in the room, where a beautiful woman was lying, but she was no longer breathing.
Next to the woman’s bed stood a man covered in blood.
The man was very tall and upright, but at the mont, he looked as if he was burdened with a great mountain, appearing very exhausted. He gazed at the woman on the bed with a devoted look, hot tears silently falling from the corners of his eyes.
Standing beside the bed, there were others, Liu Xin, Su Mulan and her assistant dical staff, and so on.
Su Mulan and the others seed to be sowhat disordered in their breathing, probably having consud a great deal of energy earlier.
Seeing this scene, Xiao Zhan didn’t know what to say and instead called Ye Anu out of the room.
"What happened, why is Zhan Yuntian here?"
Upon hearing this, Ye Anu glanced back in the direction of Zhan Yuntian’s room, sighed deeply, and then sadly said, "The other borders have been breached, and a large number of monsters have invaded the Federation. Now, only Northern City remains sowhat safe."
Hearing this, Xiao Zhan’s face showed shock.
"So suddenly?"
He found it hard to believe; the Longxia Federation was one of the strongest Super Federations, how could it be so easily breached by monsters?
If they had been breached, what would happen to the other smaller federations?

Xiao Zhan did not dwell on this topic.
It was a heavy one, but it wasn’t sothing he could reverse by himself.
Of course, maybe he could change the situation alone, but there was no need to worry so prematurely and deplete his energy unnecessarily.
Xiao Zhan was just about to instruct Ye Anu to adjust the defense setup.
At that mont, Zhan Yuntian walked out.
His tears had been wiped dry, and he had returned to his tough-guy image from before.
