[3rd Pov] [Location - Wayne Manor]
It was a few hours after returning to the manor, and Bruce had FINALLY returned. As he walked through the door, he heard a feminine voice sound out "You know, you really need to start telling when you leave"
Turning to the voice, Bruce sighed at his adoptive daughter, knowing that she was annoyed with him. "It was important League matters"
"You an the fact that Dick and his friends are allowed to see the inner parts of the Hall of Justice? You know they're going to be pissed, right? The watchtower is way cooler"
"Language" Bruce said, before continuing "How do you know of the Watchtower?" Bruce asked, he trusted his daughter, but she knew a LOT of things that just weren't public knowledge.
"You left your batcomputer open" Gwen said with a shrug. Funnily enough, this was true. Bruce blinked at this, before sighing "I see"
"So..." "No chance" Bruce cut her off, "You still need more experience before joining the League, not to ntion the rest of the League has to vote on it"
"More experience? Bruce, I've defeated thousands of criminals in the past month, and quite a few big bads. I've also wiped out entire underground rings, be it human trafficking, or whatever else. How do I not have enough experience?" Gwen asked, annoyed. She didn't even entirely want to be in the main league, she was just hoping to get into the Young Justice, when the ti ca in a couple of days.
She had already planned on leaving the Cadmus events tomorrow, to the others, knowing they needed that experience, and because she couldn't exactly get to Cadmus in ti. Unless she sohow hacked into the Zeta-tubes nearby, and that would then notify Bruce, so not a good idea.
Bruce went silent at what Gwen said, knowing it was true. In a singular month, she had wiped out more criminals in the City then any of the league mbers, in the past 5-6. It was big enough that the other League mbers were talking about inviting her into the league, regardless of how young she was at the mont. He and Wonderwoman were the two main ones against the idea, primarily due to her age, and not having the experience the rest of them had, in fighting larger, and stronger foes. But even that argunt started to go out the window, when she started to defeat so of Gotham's most dangerous foes on her own, primarily the Joker.
"...Fine, I'll think about it" Bruce relented, knowing that she had a right to be annoyed. "Thanks Dad!" Gwen said happily, before running off back upstairs, but not before giving him a peck on the cheek.
Bruce blinked at the word, before smiling 'she called dad' It was the first ti she had called him that, and he found that he quite liked it.
Back inside Gwen's room, the girl in question also realized that she called him "dad" but shook it off, having long since seen him as a father. 'Now I just gotta wait until canon, so I can get all those juicy rewards!' Gwen thought with a wide grin.
'Hopefully they're good, because damn were so of those villains annoying, especially Joker' Gwen thought with a groan, rembering her fight with the madman.
He ended up holding an entire orphanage hostage filled with laughing gas, not exactly sothing she could fight easily. The only way she was able to stop him, was through a lot of sneaking around, and launching the bombs up into the sky, a safe distance away from the children. Then there was his goons, and Harley Quinn - who was admittedly hot as hell - she was...persistent, if continuing to attack her even after having her arm broken, was any indication.
She sort of felt bad for the girl, knowing that she was pretty much manipulated into loving the madman, not to ntion her pretty much having stockholm syndro. She still ended up defeating the two, it was just an incredibly annoying experience, that was not helped by the fact that she couldn't really kill Joker, not after Bruce showed up after she beat the man into a pulp.
'Bruce and his no kill rule' Gwen thought with a huff. The knowledge of Deathstroke definitely rubbed off on her willingness to kill, as that wouldn't have been her first ti.
Her first kill ca in the form of the head of a child trafficking ring, the man had been doing so...less then good things to a young girl, when Gwen found them. Safe to say, the man's head was turned to mush after a singular full force punch to the skull.
Gwen shook her head, shaking out those mories, not wanting to rember those horrible mories.
Slowly, her eyes began to close, as the comforting warmth of Morpheus overtook her.
[The next day]
It was the day after her talk with Bruce, and Gwen was currently waiting in her room. Bruce and Dick had just left to deal with Mr. Freeze, and then run off to the Hall of Justice.
Sitting and waiting for another thirty minutes, Gwen stopped when she saw a notification glow into her vision.

As Gwen read the rewards, her eyes widened in surprise, before grinning madly, a happy laugh escaping her lips. 'Oh this is good...very good'

She won't be getting anymore SL tickets for a while after this, as this group of ten is going to heighten her capabilities drastically, to a whole new level. She's still weak in this universe, but she's definitely top tier in Street level characters, but is a bug compared to soone like
Superman.
