[3rd POV] [Location: Inside Pro Bending Arena]
Currently the group was sitting, watching as Korra...struggled to understand what she was doing during the fight. Breaking several rules, and crossing certain "Lines" within the arena, which was sort of a boundary, and resulted in a foul.
"She's got no idea what she's doing, does she?" Artemis asked with a deadpan, realizing Korra really didn't know what she was doing, having never actually done pro bending before.
"Nope" Gwen responded, watching as she water bended. Mainly due to the referee restricting her from bending any of the other elents, as that would be quite unfair, considering she can bend all four elents, that being Water, Earth, Fire, and Air.
'Hmmm, his fire bending isn't bad, but is pretty...normal. There's no variation to it, as if it was just what he learned from a book or sothing. Whereas a proper fire bender would have their own...additions, like Azula and her incredibly powerful offense, and Iroh and...well most of his bending' Gwen thought, watching Mako and his fire bending closely.
'He definitely needs more training, with a proper fire bending master at that. Just as I'm sure Korra does as well. As while she does have the knowledge of the past Avatars, she can't use it properly yet' Gwen humd, knowing that the girl would also be pretty average for that area. Her past reincarnations would be far more skilled of course, but she can't use that knowledge just yet.
'Perhaps using those 10 tickets now would be better...just in the hopes of getting more benders' Gwen thought, seriously contemplating the idea. As at the mont, she needed more bending knowledge than anything, and perhaps even more types of bending. She also had a feeling she'd be getting more tickets soon too, so...she decided why not?
'System, use those ten UL tickets' Gwen inwardly decided.
[SL Characters - Isabelle Lightwood (Shadowhunters), Alec Lightwood (Shadowhunters)] [UL Characters - Inasa (MHA), Kuvira (LOK), Aoi Todo (JJK), Zenitsu (DS), Jeong Jeong (ATLA), Mako (LOK), Hanabi Hyuga (Naruto), Taylor Hebert (Worm), Lin Beifong (LOK)] '... Looks like that was the right decision to make. As I have Earthbending now, and my fire bending will get quite a bit stronger. Jeong Jeong is a master firebender, roughly comparable to Iroh. Lin and Kuvira are both skilled Earthbenders, and even more skilled talbenders, so they'll be pretty good additions. Taylor is...pretty helpful, with her ability to control most arthropods, and combine that with my current telepathy, and it's probably even stronger than hers. Hanabi will just increase my chakra, improve my Byakugan, and so other things. While Aoi will do the sa for Cursed Energy. Zenitsu is...decent. And Inasa is pretty good for his ability to control air' Gwen thought in slight happiness.
'Not to ntion the shadowhunters, which'll give a new form of runes, ones that might be useful in the future' Gwen thought with a small smile, as she silently cast a small illusion over her form, before thinking.
'Assimilate, system' Gwen thought, as she felt a new surge of power fill her, as well as so mories.
The assimilation only took thirty seconds or so, before it was completely finished. Her mind and body far too advanced for it to take any longer than that. It would take a far longer, and much more straining assimilation, to take that long.
'As I thought...the mories and new bending is pretty good' Gwen grinned slightly, as her fire bending was quite a bit stronger, in terms of knowledge at least. The fire she bended was even stronger than any normal fire benders, even in comparison to Azula's blue fire.
Undoing the illusion around herself, Gwen refocused on the fight, noticing that Korra had been knocked off, but was already back on the arena.
"Alright girls, I'll be off. I should be back in 10 minutes or so" Gwen said, causing them to nod as they watched the fight with enjoynt in their eyes. Chuckling at the sight, Gwen walked off, to where she sensed Tenzin at.
Tenzin had just left the arena, after watching Korra use so rather skilled airbending footwork, and dodge the attacks, leading to the exhaustion of the rival team, and giving Bolin and Mako the ti to take them out.
"She was pretty good, you know" A voice sounded out, causing the man to jump slightly.
Coughing awkwardly, Tenzin spoke "Ah, thank you"
"But she definitely needs to work on her footwork. Not to ntion her tactics being subpar. And if her fire bending is on the sa level as that Mako, then she needs help in that area as well" The voice continued, causing Tenzin to frown and turn, finding a blonde haired girl standing there.
"And who are you?" Tenzin asked the unknown girl.
"Gwendolyn Wayne. But just call Gwen" Gwen replied with a smile, as she offered the man her hand, in which he shook awkwardly.
"You say her footwork needs work? Why do you believe that?" Tenzin asked, wondering how this girl noticed the sa thing he ahd long since tried getting Korra to work on.
"It's too rigid. She's focusing too much on attacking through brute force with her waterbending, and blocking attacks, and not enough on dodging. Her footwork got slightly better towards the end, but even that needs work, as it won't work in every situation" Gwen responded with a shrug, as she leaned back against the wall.
"And how would you do such a thing?" Tenzin asked, growing interested in this girls opinion.
"Hmm, an exercise that specializes in random patterns and situations she can't learn through a pattern. Sothing completely unpredictable would be a good way of getting her to work on it, especially for situations in the future. I guess sothing like using the waves of the ocean and making her balance on top of it through footwork, would be a decent start" Gwen replied after thinking for a few monts.
At this, Tenzin blinked "And what of her fire bending?"
"Again, if it's anything like that Mako guy, it's too rigid, and far too predictable to be of any use against a real master in the area. She needs to learn that firebending is not sothing that can just be "repeated" and is certainly not restricted to just a few moves. All bending is free in nature, and should have your own sort of...mark on it" Gwen said, knowing that her own bending was...much more unique than any other fire benders.
"And you are a fire bender?"
"Yep! Born and Raised. I even know Lightning generation too, if that matters. And I like to think of myself as a bit of a master in the art" Gwen replied with a smile, causing Tenzin to
stare her down.
"...And do you think you can prove this?" Tenzin asked, as an idea ca to mind. Every instinct within his old body, was telling him that this girl was more than just a normal fire bender, and with the way she described Korra...he could see that her claim of being a master, might be truth afterall.
Gwen, in response, just stared the man down before grinning.
"Give a ti and place, and I'll show you just how good I am"

Sorry about the UL usages, but I sort of realized that she would naturally think about getting bending, and UL is where most of the benders are. So, she's naturally gonna use the tickets to get more bending and bending knowledge. She won't be using UL tickets again for quite so
ti, promise.
I ended up getting Taylor from Worm, and I've got a general idea of how her power works, so that was neat to get.
Next chapter will be roughly the sa length, and will be her proving her skills to Tenzin and
so...others.
She'll be bending in this universe more than anything, as she wants to use this world to improve upon her elental control, martial arts, and getting more in tune with said martial
arts.
