[3rd POV]
’Well this is annoying’ Gwen thought, as she sat at a table, around her were the various Sorcerer supres that ran the sorcerer part of Mars. They were all incredibly powerful magic users and a lot of them were iterations of Doctor Strange. There was also a few Ancient Ones, a few Loki’s, a couple Doctor Dooms, and even a couple Wanda’s.
All of them were staring at her, as she was digesting what they had just explained to her.
"So due to becoming the Queen in Black and therefore taking over the Symbiote Hivemind, all of the magical realms that I control that you all pull upon, are now powered up to such a degree that you are struggling to control it?" Gwen asked, as they all nodded.
She supposed it made sense, as her getting stronger would naturally make the dinsions stronger. And by the dinsions getting stronger the power that can be called upon from said dinsions would get a lot stronger.
"It is so powerful that it is overwhelming many of our weaker students. They cannot gain control over this power due to how strong it is. Even so of our more adept students and teachers are struggling with the new power that they feel. And we fear that it may harm them at this rate" One of the Sorcerer Supre’s said, this one being a version of Doctor Strange that was a woman.
"Hmm, alright, I’ll handle it. I should be able to limit the power that the students call upon. I’ll just make it so that they can only call upon the amount of power that they can actually handle without...you know, exploding" Gwen responded, already warping the dinsions from afar.
She had absolute control over them, so this much was easy enough.
"There, that should fix the problem" Gwen said after a few seconds, already fixing the issues that they were having. The Sorcerers all blinked as they felt the change within them, and gave Gwen a group of thank you’s.
"Thank you Gwen, it truly is a huge help. Are you planning on conquering any more dinsions, or are you going to stop at what you have?" One of the other sorcerer supre’s asked, this one was a version of Reed Richards.
"I’ll probably start to conquer new dinsions now that Knull is taken care of. I need to prepare for the incursions, and conquering the dinsions of this universe is a big part of that preparation" Gwen responded with a nod, already having an idea of what to do in regards to the dinsions.
But she needed a bit of ti to accomplish it all.
"How would it be possible to stop the incursions? They are the collision of entire universes, surely not even you can stop such a thing" One of the newer Sorcerer Supres said, not really knowing much about Gwen besides the fact that she was incredibly powerful.
"You underestimate , Sorcerer. I’ve got plans for the incursions, and I am pretty damn confident that I can at least save our universe. I’m not sure about all universes, but this one can be saved. And those dinsions are a big part of that" Gwen explained, as the sorcerer supre in question looked a little surprised.
"In what way can those dinsions help stop a multiverse wide incident that is actively happening?" The sa sorcerer supre asked, growing more confused with what she was planning.
He was a young Sorcerer Supre, so he didn’t really know a lot about this particular event. He also didn’t understand just what Gwen could accomplish with these dinsions and what being the Queen in Black actually entailed.
"You’ll see in the future, trust , I’ll be taking care of the incursion that will be coming for this universe. Even if I have to do it alone" Gwen responded, waving off the man’s concerns regarding whether or not she will actually succeed.
She was pretty damn confident in stopping the incursions. And she knew she could do it even if it’s alone.
"We trust in you, Gwen. We just hope that you don’t do anything stupid in order to accomplish whatever it is that you are planning" One of the Sorcerer Supre’s spoke, with Gwen chuckling.
"I guess you’ll just have to see that for yourself" Gwen responded as they continued to talk about a few other things. Like the progress in the training of the future generation of sorcerers, the progress in finding new sorcerers from various different universes, and a number of other important subjects that mattered to them.
After a couple of hours of being at the sorcerer complex of the city, where most of the sorcerers lived, Gwen left, deciding to check up on the new wards and making sure that they were finished.
And as she had expected, they were all finished by the ti that she was finished with her conversation with the council of Sorcerer Supre’s.
The wards were already up and were now strengthening various other systems by at least 55%, improving things dramatically. She planned on also introducing so new technologies that she had learned in order to improve it even more, but that would have to co later.
Right now she was sending her clones out to start the process of conquering new dinsions. Most of them were likely going to be without life, but she still needed to conquer most, if not all dinsions of this universe for her plan to realistically work.
That and she would need to personally speak with Eternity and Infinity. That particular part was going to be the hardest thing to accomplish, as she had no idea if they’d even agree to talk with her, much less agree to the idea she was going to propose.
After checking over her new wards Gwen had made her way back ho, deciding to chill out with her girls for the rest of the day. She hadn’t really been with them since dealing with Knull, as she was more focused on fixing up any damages that had been caused, and making sure everyone was okay.
But now that Gwen knew that everything was working just fine, Gwen was ready to get back ho and relax with the girls properly. Maybe even have so...fun ti.
Getting back ho in the next instant, Gwen smiled as her girlfriends were waiting for her. She was almost imdiately greeted by several kisses and happy smiles seeing her show up in the apartnt.
"Did the wards work like you wanted them to?" Korra asked, as Gwen flopped down onto the couch with a pleased sigh.
"Yep, they’re even stronger than I was hoping initially. It strengthened the other magical systems by around 55% and that’ll likely continue to go up over the next few weeks as it adapts and grows further" Gwen responded with a smile, nodding to her question.
"Are there any other systems you plan on upgrading, or just the wards?" Jean asked, interested. They knew their girlfriend enough to know that she loved to always improve things, and did it a lot.
"I plan on upgrading just about every system I possibly can. Mostly in order to prepare for the incursions that’ll be arriving here within the next couple of months. They won’t stop it, but they’ll certainly help for the other plans I have" Gwen responded with another nod.
"Huh, neat. How do you plan on taking care of the incursions anyways?" Artemis asked, interested in the plan.
At her question, Gwen humd before deciding to explain her plan, and boy...was it a long one.
"Well...you might want to get relaxed for this one. Because it’s a long plan, and it all begins with..."
