Mo Chou headed back towards the direction of the cafeteria. Her interaction with An Daiyu hadn’t really taken that long so hopefully everyone would still be there.
Mo Chou found Lu Jinhai walking towards the direction of the bathroom and waved at him. Lu Jinhai imdiately arrived in front of Mo Chou and scanned her from top to bottom.
Mo Chou was amused with his behavior and asked, "what’s up" in a playful tone. "You were gone for a while. Did that girl give you any trouble?" asked Lu Jinhai referring to the girl who wanted to talk to her.
"Yeah, it’s just ’girl drama’, don’t worry about it" Mo Chou said convincingly but Lu Jinhai was still a little suspicious. ’Did sothing happen again? My little rabbit seems to get followed by trouble no matter where she goes’ thought Lu Jinhai.
"Let’s go, class is about to start," said Mo Chou as she started walking. Lu Jinhai followed her without saying anything else, ’forget it, I can just watch the CCTV footage later, she doesn’t seem to have been hard anyways’.

anwhile at the Liu mansion, the head of the bodyguards had decided that him and two other bodyguards would bring An Daiyu to the Liu mansion while the remaining bodyguards would stay at the University entrance to guard Mo Chou.
Before he left, he gave everyone a lecture regarding slacking and warned them that it should not happen again.
Everyone knew that Liu Qiang had been resting at ho recently, so they took An Daiyu directly to the mansion.
Coincidentally, Liu Dai had to report so important work related matters to Liu Qiang, so he was inside Liu Qiang’s office at ho when the bodyguards arrived with An Daiyu in tow.
The guards knocked on the door and Liu Qiang told them to enter not expecting it to be Mo Chou’s bodyguards with a tied up An Daiyu in between them. As soon as they saw An Daiyu, Liu Qiang and Liu Dai knew that it was sothing serious, especially when it was Mo Chou’s personal bodyguards who had brought her there.
"What did the girl do again this ti?" Liu Qiang asked in a tired voice.
The bodyguards were a little nervous as they were probably going to be punished but they still had to report the whole matter anyway, so the head of the guards blurted out, " shesneakedintotheuniversityandattackedyoungmiss".
He said it so fast that no one could catch his words. "Speak slower, do I have to teach you how to talk?" said Liu Qiang irritably.
Liu Dai had been quiet and just watching everything but he caught a few words such as ’attack’ and ’miss’ from the guard and imdiately beca alert.
"Be clear this ti" Liu Dai also added.
The guard beca even more nervous but this ti he obediently explained everything slowly but still could not help but stutter from ti to ti.
After hearing everything, both Liu Qiang and Liu Dai were furious.
Liu Dai was so angry that he glared at An Daiyu and was about to give her a harsh scolding when An Daiyu who had kept quiet with her head down this whole ti, looked up and started sobbing.
"I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, I didn’t an to harm Mo Chou" An Daiyu said while sobbing.
"So you didn’t an to harm her but you attacked her with a knife huh" Liu Dai sneered hearing her words.
"I_I was just scaring her with the knife, I wouldn’t really have done anything. I was just very sad and angry" said An Daiyu with a convincing tone.
"Even if you were sad or angry, you shouldn’t have tried to attack my daughter" said Liu Qiang, although An Daiyu was just a little girl in his eyes, he still could not bring himself to forgive her, ’my precious daughter, she was probably so scared being attacked with a knife’.
An Daiyu continued her act and said, "I promise I will never try sothing like that again. I’ll leave everyone alone but please let et old master Liu just once".
"Why do you want to et grandfather"? Liu Dai quickly started thinking of the tricks she could play.
"My grandfather wanted to et him before he died. He always told stories about old master Liu and I have grown up idolizing him, please tell him that I want to et him, he might want to et too".
Liu Qiang thought about her words, although he didn’t really believe her at all, he still had to inform old master Liu in case he really wanted to et An Daiyu as she was the only descendant of his very close friend.
"Alright, I’ll inform him that you wish to et him but I hope that after eting him you will keep your promise and leave my family alone" said Liu Qiang in a firm tone.
Liu Dai was shocked, why was his father allowing this scheming girl to et his grandfather? It was obvious that she didn’t have any good intentions and he even wanted to let her go after she tried to harm Mo Chou.
"Dad" Liu Dai called out but Liu Qiang stopped him with a look.
"Take Miss An to the living room and ’guard’ her while I call my father" Liu Qiang ordered the guards. The guards imdiately understood that he wanted them to keep an eye on An Daiyu. They didn’t restrain her like before but still caged her in between them so she would not be able to do anything.
After everyone exited the office, Liu Qiang finally turned towards Liu Dai and said, "I know you might be questioning my decision but first of all, your grandfather isn’t stupid enough to fall in her traps and second of all, she really is your grandfather’s dear friend’s only living descendant so I have decided not to do anything to her this ti. Besides, I don’t have to do anything, your grandfather would not take An Daiyu harming Mo Chou lying down as he was the one who set your engagent, she is digging her own grave by looking for him".
Liu Dai was enlightened because of Liu Qiang’s words but also a little worried, "when did you beco this scheming dad?"
Liu Qiang heard his words and gave him a ’gentle’ slap on the back of his head.
"That’s enough, finish your report first. I will call your grandfather after you are finished".

An Daiyu was sitting in the living room tapping her foot impatiently. She had thought that Liu Qiang would imdiately inform old master Liu but he sure was taking his ti.
It had already been forty-five minutes since she had sat down and no one had even offered her water which made An Daiyu grit her teeth. She decided that she would fire all the staff at the Liu mansion after she beca the mistress, especially those bodyguards of Mo Chou’s.
Liu Dai had passed by the living room once, probably heading for the company and she had even called his na but he didn’t even turn his head and kept walking as if he hadn’t heard her, ’I am ’the female protagonist’, why the heck is Liu Dai ignoring when he is supposed to be head over heels for ’.
Liu Dai’s indifference towards her made An Daiyu mad and she even started doubting, ’Isn’t the male lead supposed to love the female protagonist no matter what? But Liu Dai seems to despise , Is it because I didn’t follow the novel plot properly?’
But she dismisses her thoughts imdiately, wasn’t she just a little early in eting Liu Dai? Anyway, even in the novel Liu Dai had fallen for An Daiyu slowly after the first eting, ’yeah, its nothing, just a matter of ti’.
Finally, An Daiyu saw Liu Qiang entering the living room. "My father has agreed to et you" said Liu Qiang, then turning towards the butler who was standing nearby, he said, "get a driver to drop miss An to the old courtyard. No need to wait for her, just tell the driver to co back after dropping her off".
With that, Liu Qiang walked away. His leg had healed a bit and he didn’t like using the wheelchair anymore so he would slowly walk everywhere.
An Daiyu looked at Liu Qiang’s back with hatred, how dare he dismiss her so easily. ’After I beco the mistress of the family, I’ll have to do sothing about him’.
The butler quickly prepared the car and sent An Daiyu off. After driving for about thirty four minutes, she finally arrived at the old courtyard.
An Daiyu got out of the car and looked around in disdain, old master Liu obviously had a lot of wealth but he still lived in such a shabby place. She looked around with a mocking expression before finally knocking on the door.
By the ti a servant opened the door, An Daiyu had already changed her arrogant expression and put on a smile.
She had rubbed her eyes a little making it red and watery in order to achieve the teary look.
An Daiyu wanted old master Liu to see her as a pitiful little girl to arouse his sympathy but what she didn’t know was that old master Liu had already been watching her since the mont she arrived and had seen every single one of her expressions.
