Li Chen nudged Huang Chunhua and blinked at her. Huang Chunhua was about to ask her what she wanted but Li Chen imdiately gave her a signal to shut up. Looking at Huang Chunhua’s questioning expression, she blinked and pointed her chin at Lu Jinhai.
Huang Chunhua was curious and looked at his direction and imdiately knew why Li Chen was acting so weird. Lu Jinhai was making ’heart eyes’ at Mo Chou who was completely oblivious. Actually ’heart eyes’ was a little exaggerated term as, if one did not look closely, they wouldn’t be able to find anything.
But Li Chen and Huang Chunhua had interacted a little with Lu Jinhai because of Mo Chou and had a good idea of his personality. He was looking at Mo Chou with a gentle gaze and he was even smiling a tiny bit, though it was almost unnoticeable.
Huang Chunhua realized that she had never seen him smile till now. ’Mo Chou and Lu Jinhai would look very good together. Even the two of them just sitting there and talking is like watching a scene from a movie’.
Lu Jinhai knew that Mo Chou’s friends were sneakily looking at him but he didn’t care. His total attention was on Mo Chou and he didn’t want to look at anyone else. He had missed her after all.
Mo Chou on the other hand was completely oblivious, she had long started ignoring all the gazes as they never seed to stop. She was actually thinking of buying sothing for Lu Jinhai, he had bought her presents even though he had gone for a ’funeral’.
’It would be too rude of to just accept it, I’ll go to the mall after classes.’
After finishing her food, Mo Chou got up to head towards the classes and Lu Jinhai naturally followed her.
’Isn’t he too much like a little follower?’ Mo Chou giggled at the the thought. Lu Jinhai looked at her mischievous expression and asked "What’s so funny hmm?"
Mo Chou obviously couldn’t tell him the truth and excused herself. She needed to go to the toilet anyway.
She went to the girls bathroom and did her business, after washing her hands she was about to exit the bathroom but soone blocked her path. It was a pretty good looking girl, Mo Chou found her familiar.
’Isn’t this one of the girls from the villianess’s old ’friend group’?, If I rember correctly, she is also Zhao Lili’s cousin. Is she here to take revenge on for her?’
Mo Chou found it a little funny as Zhao Lili was the one who had brought her own doom. She quirked her eyebrow and asked looking at her twisted expression "Do you have constipation?"
Shen Xue was so angry that her entire face turned red. "You won’t be able to be arrogant for long b***h, just wait" with that she turned and stomped out of the bathroom.
Mo Chou said "good luck" in a loud voice and watched in amusent as Shen Xue tripped. ’She was probably the one behind the whole news channel incident, sigh. It’s hard having so many ’fans’.’
Mo Chou walked towards her next class in a good mood. Lu Jinhai was already waiting for her on the desk beside hers. Actually Lu Jinhai’s seat wasn’t beside her in all the classes previously but the students who sat beside her before didn’t seem to mind sitting sowhere else, so now Lu Jinhai sat beside her in every class.
"You should have taken a longer leave from university." Mo Chou couldn’t help but say looking at his tired face. Lu Jinhai replied "It’s fine, I can sleep in the class and besides I didn’t want to miss spending ti with you" and closed his eyes.
Mo Chou’s ears turned red, ’how can he say such stuff with a straight face?’
"Shaless" she whispered under her breath.
Lu Jinhai really was sleepy, on top of having no ti because of work, his insomnia prevented him from having a good rest but he didn’t really expect to fall asleep within a minute of closing his eyes.
He only woke up after Mo Chou shook him awake at the end of the class. It was rare for him to have such a deep sleep and to his surprise he fell asleep in every class.
By the ti all the classes were over, Lu Jinhai felt well rested and energetic. It was really the best sleep of his life. Maybe his insomnia was cured sohow. ’I should give the doctor a raise’ he thought.
Although he had a nice rest, Lu Jinhai didn’t want to part with Mo Chou but he had no choice. ’Should I kidnap and lock her up in my house?’ He thought seriously but rejected the idea. Mo Chou would definitely hate him if he did that. He had no choice but to patiently woo her.
Mo Chou took her car and went to the mall near the University. The bodyguards also followed behind but at a distance. Even though she was just a young girl, the bodyguards felt that Mo Chou was really frightening when she got annoyed at them, so they had tactically agreed to follow her at a distance and only interfere when she needed it.
Mo Chou was obviously happy without the bodyguards crowding her space. She went to the sa shop that she had gone to previously. On the way there, people actually recognized her and excitedly pointed at her, so even took out their phones to take pictures.
Mo Chou felt that it was getting a little annoying at this point and decided that she would wear a mask the next ti she went out. She entered the shop and was greeted by the sa shop assistant as before. The shop assistant was delighted to see her there as she was a big custor.
Mo Chou asked her to show her all the new arrivals for n as she had already looked at the ones before. The shop assistant imdiately introduced her to all the new and expensive products one by one. Mo Chou wasn’t really listening to her and just looked around herself.
She looked around and found a watch which looked really classy. Even though it was not sothing that a University student would wear, Mo Chou felt that it would really suit Lu Jinhai.
’I’ll just buy it’ she thought and told the assistant to pack it up. The shop assistant’s eyes lit up as the watch was one of the most expensive items offered in the whole shop. She was definitely going to receive a nice bonus. She hurriedly packed it up in the best packaging.
Mo Chou looked around casually and ca across a vintage style tie clasp. When she saw it , she couldn’t help but imagine Lu Jinhai in a suit. She felt herself blushing at the thought as her mind ca up with the image of Lu Jinhai unbuttoning his shirt.
’I really need so holy water’ she thought ’how can I have such perverted thoughts about my friend’.
Mo Chou had already regarded Lu Jinhai as one of the people she cared about. She decisively bought the tie clasp and asked the shop assistant to pack it up too.
The shop assistant was very enthusiastic and even gave her a discount and a VIP card. Mo Chou was obviously an important custor after purchasing so many items.
Mo Chou was also pretty happy to be able to get the VIP card as it ant that she would be saving so money in the future with every purchase due to the VIP discount.
Mo Chou wasn’t in a hurry to go ho and was feeling a little hungry, so she decided to go to the food street nearby. She asked the shop assistant for a mask and the assistant gave it to her for free.
After wearing the mask, Mo Chou decided to walk to the food street as it was nearby. She wanted to try the street food and felt like her car would be a hindrance.
The bodyguards just followed her without any questions. The food street was pretty lively. It mainly consisted of food stalls and so small but clean restaurants. Mo Chou couldn’t decide on what to eat and just got a little of everything that looked good.
She was just strolling and looking around when she heard a shout. It was a lady holding a little kid. She seed really anxious and was calling for soone.
Mo Chou looked closely that the little kid was actually Jin Hua whom she had saved previously.
She hurriedly approached them and saw that he had gone blue and seed to be choking. The lady didn’t know what to do and was trying to call an ambulance. Mo Chou took matters into her own hands and said "give him to , I know what to do".
Hearing her words, the lady imdiately complied and handed him over.
Mo Chou quickly perford first aid and cleared the blockage first. Jin Hua was unconscious, so she perford CPR. He woke up slowly and imdiately started crying. The lady took Jin Hua into her arms and thanked her profusely, "Thank you so much for saving my baby."
The lady turned out to be Madam Jin. Mo Chou wondered why she was here alone with Jin Hua but got the answer as a maid arrived shortly after. "Madam, You really shouldn’t have left behind. You can’t sneak out alone just because the little master says so" the maid said while panting.
The lady handed Jin Hua to the maid and said to Mo Chou "miss i have to hurry and can’t thank you right now, let’s exchange contacts so I can thank you properly in the future."
Looking at her sincere expression, Mo Chou could not help but agree. After quickly exchanging contacts, she also headed ho.
Her bodyguards on the other hand were dumbfounded with everything that happened. "Our miss has really changed".
