From her perspective, Gu Shishi was a fragile treasure right now.
Even if she was just nicked a little, her big brother would kill her.
Huo ChuChu felt that her palm was less sweaty when she attended shareholder etings.
Gu Shishi looked up. “Is this really necessary? Are there no pregnant won at your office? Have you never seen pregnant won walking down the street before? Everybody works until a month before their due date. I am just out to shop and relax. What are you so worried about?”
Huo ChuChu stroked her head and didn’t know what to say to that.
Hmm. She would have human resource redo the benefit policy tomorrow and improve the benefits of all pregnant won.
Taxi to and from work would be expensed!
Lunch break would be extended by an hour!
Loungers for pregnant won in the office!
Six-hour work day!
This was so tough!
And so scary!
The elevator arrived on 6th floor shortly and tears were pouring inside of Huo ChuChu. She helped Fragile Gu out of the elevator and walked inside of the maternity shop with her.
“Sister-in-law, seriously. Why didn’t you ask Sister Qin the gender of the child?”
Huo ChuChu saw the clothes hanging on the rack.
The pink girl ones were so cute!
The blue boy ones are so handso!
She took a quick gander at the note from her big brother and, after one second of hesitation, decided to grab both!
Gu Shishi only saw her shoving things quickly into their shopping cart. She didn’t even have the change to stop her. “Why are you taking so many? Only buy the pretty ones. Aunty Lin had a lot prepared at ho already.”
Huo ChuChu’s cheeks were a bit pink. “That’s not the sa. This is from to my nephew or niece! If we see prettier ones, we will buy those too!”
This was the first ti she was shopping for the baby with her own money.
Gu Shishi was speechless.
She was exactly like her man at ho!
Both were prodigals!
The two picked and chose so more – mainly Gu Shishi picked them out of the shopping cart and Huo ChuChu adding them back in…
They quickly shopped all the way to the top floor then back from the top floor down. Never mind about Gu Shishi who hadn’t been shopping for a while, even Huo ChuChu happily picked out a few of Brand L’s latest purses for herself. Both of them had their hands full with shopping bags.
The support staff who followed them all the way had to make three trips to load all of their loots to bring back to the mansion.
Huo ChuChu was nervous at the beginning but slowly relaxed so toward the end and was less intimidated being around Gu Shishi’s big tummy.
Gu Shishi, in the end, paid for her Brand L purses and said that to consider that her birthday gift from her big brother this year. Huo ChuChu was so happy that she was short of running around the shopping mall in joy.
“Thank you, Sister-in-law!”
Huo ChuChu was very emotional.
Finally, she seriously and responsibility brought Gu Shishi back to her big brother’s office – HF World Financial Center that was right next door.
It was barely 500 ters in distance but Huo ChuChu, after arriving at the top floor CEO’s office, walked straight inside after she had knocked with no hesitation, and seriously bragged about herself.
“Big Brother, I did not let you down. I brought sister-in-law back unscathed.”
Having said that, she received a deep, pondering look from the handso man sitting in the boss’s chair.
Huo ChuChu was nervous for all one second then, stroking her new gift purse from her ‘big brother’, was no longer nervous instantly. “We walked through all the floors… I stopped sister-in-law from having coffee. Then she wanted to attack my little cake, which was also stopped by … she wanted to buy high heels. I jotted down the serial number. She couldn’t try it today but Big Brother can have the brand make her new ones next year.”
Much like a secretary, she reported all of her accomplishnts today to him.
She got another approving look from the man.
Gu Shishi only found that amusing. She slowly sat down on the couch and let her sore legs get a rest.
