Sier shook his head. “He’s fine. Just running a little fever. He had been released from the hospital this morning already.”
Gu Shishi took a few sips of the milkshake and laid her palm over her forehead.

She carefully glanced over at the man next to her.
Naturally Sier had collected intelligence on that as well. He had a complicated look when he got to this point.
“He spent the night keeping the Gu’s mother and daughter company after taking them ho that day.
“The next morning, though, Mrs. Huo went over to the Gu’s place. Em, the mansion that Gu Wushuang is currently living in. Told Gu Wushuang to take care of herself and took Huo Wencheng with her.”
Gu Shishi gasped loudly.
