Huo ChuChu was ecstatic imdiately.
Her eyes even teared up from being so emotional.
Looking at her big brother, she nodded forcefully. “Right, sister-in-law, don’t worry. I’ll just look at it as making another friend. I won’t foolishly marry just anyone just for my family’s gains. Mainly I want to listen to my grandmother and see how much I can accomplish at work. I want to be like sister-in-law and not give up what I enjoy doing even after I get married.
“But I don’t really know what I enjoy yet so I might as well follow the arrangent of my family for now and give everything a try.”
Gu Shishi nodded and glanced over at the man next to her.
He didn’t have much of an expression so she nodded at Huo ChuChu. “Okay, co with us then. We will have the chauffeur drop you off first.”
Huo ChuChu smiled so much that her eyes were just two slits. “Okay!”
How lucky for one to have a sister-in-law!
She was but a small grass that nobody paid attention to before. Now that she has a sister-in-law, she felt that she had beco a little precious!
They got into the car.
Huo ChuChu voluntarily took the spot in the backseat next to the window and let Gu Shishi sit in the middle, next to her big brother.
“Oh yeah, whatever happened to our vacation after we were able to tell Siyi and Sier apart?”
Huo ChuChu gave her brother a tentative look and asked weakly.
Huo Sishen gave her a cold look.
She shut her mouth imdiately and scooted bit by bit toward the window, feeling dispirited.
“... ... I am just kidding. I have already made up my mind to work hard at our family business.
“I am already an adult.”
Gu Shishi, too, smiled helplessly and patted her on her back to comfort her.
Siyi, sitting in the front seat, turned around and looked backward.
He dared not say a word seeing that his employer had remained silent.
Huo ChuChu was still feeling dispirited after she had gotten out of the car and said goodbye.
At least her brother didn’t chase her off this ti and let her stayed on the island for the entire week.
Nor did he get upset at her when she was the third wheel from ti to ti.
It was already a big step forward compared to what it was before.

“What else can you accomplish other than upsetting Mom?!”
She had barely been happy for half a minute when she was chastised by Huo Wencheng from the stairs the minute she stepped inside of the house.
He looked very gloomy.
Perhaps it had to do with Gu Wushuang’s surgery not going well. He was in a bad mood and his tone was worse than normal.
“Since Grandma said that you will be joining the company after your return and will change your ways and not have them worry again, I am not going to beat around the bush with you anymore.
“Go report to International Business departnt today and your job is to contact HF to discuss our cooperation strategy for the next year. If you fail, that ans that you are not competent and will start from the ground up in the future!”
Having said that, Huo Wencheng pinched between his brows and said, “I need to make an oversea trip and I hope that you will be able to nail down the contract within a month.”
Naturally, he was flying overseas to tend to Gu Wushuang’s matters.
Huo Chuchu frowned when she heard that and let her displeasure show.
He was spending all of his free ti on romance and never thought about helping out their big brother or her!
“Okay, I get it.”
She grunted her response.
Huo Wencheng nodded and left with his suitcase.
Seeing that he had left, Huo ChuChu quickly grunted and walked upstairs.
She would give it her best this ti!
She refused to make her Big Brother look bad!
She wanted others to see that the closer she was with her Big Brother, the more competent she was and the better off she was!
