One after another, the representing envoys of each country stepped up to the treaty, signing it. While they were signing it with their personal signature, they were here to represent their respective countries. As such, the peace treaty was a contract effectively signed between each of the different countries in question.

Once a signature was placed, it would fade, and their country's sigil took its place. And then, finally at the end, all of the sigils of the signing countries were represented.

According to how the contract worked, if any of these countries or clans did anything like they have been trying to do for the whole ti they have been here at the summit after Kor acknowledged the contract as 'valid', their country would face the judgent of the Goddess of Fate. Considering that fact, so of the envoys were a little nervous, as Eisen and the other originals had expected.

Of coursel, that being the case, there was a tiny window for one of them to actually try sothing else. Explore stories on mvl

If now, sothing happened to Kor, the treaty, or one of the other envoys, none of it would really 'count' according to the terms of the treaty they signed. That was why Kor was wearing an incredibly reinforced outfit that would block most physical and magical attacks.

It drained a ton of mana to the point where Kor couldn't possible use these clothes constantly, but right now, he could use mana provided by the originals to make up for it.

On top of that, Xenia had set up an invisible barrier around Kor, that not only added another layer of physical protection, but actually displaced the young rchant by about two feet to the right. So if soone aid directly at Kor, they would fail.

Similarly, the room was filled with Jyuuk's shadow cats that were watching all of this from literally every angle, ready to alert the beastman when sothing suspicious happened.

If sothing happened to Kor, then this whole thing could go to absolute shit. But with Kor's help, the treaty would be so solid that not even Samuel could get around it. There were no loopholes here at all. One of Kor's powers that related to his ability to create these contracts was centered around finding exactly those kinds of exploits in contracts.

For one, it allowed Kor to exploit contracts he had to sign, while letting him draft contracts that couldn't be broken by even the best tricksters.

Exactly when Kor cleared his throat, though, getting ready to declare the contract as valid, sothing happened that slightly surprised Eisen. Or rather, it confused him. Aaron took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Not in relaxation or relief, but in resignation.

It was a resignation that Eisen was more than familiar with himself. A resignation of death.

"I declare that this treaty is now in action," Kor said with a broad smile on his face, and the paper that he was holding in his hand fell apart into wisps of golden light. But Kor quickly waved his hands, producing large number of 'copies' of the treaty, "These here are copies for you to take back to your countries.

For now, it's five for each country or clan, but if you would like so more, then please let know."

Kor started walking around the table, handing out the copies, while one of the envoys seed nothing but confused.

"Aaron. Everything alright?" Eisen asked. For the first ti since they have been paying attention to him, the originals were noticing a genuine, physical, and visceral reaction from the young prince. He turned toward Eisen, slowly nodding.

"Yeah... everything is fine, I think the pressure from the past few days is just catching up to right now," Aaron responded, and Eisen felt a wave of discomfort rush through him. It was a signal that Kor was lying. That definitely wasn't the only reason.

"Hm, alright. In that case, let -"

A ssage appeared in front of Eisen. It was an ergency ssage sent through the Knight system. The half-dragon knights were the only ones that could send ssages to Eisen directly. Kiron was the head of all knights of Asgard, and each of the other half-dragons was the head of their respective knight order.

There weren't many mbers in each just yet, but the ones that had been properly knighted and placed into those orders were now able to send ssages to their direct superiors. And in certain cases, the half-dragon knights were able to directly forward a ssage to Eisen.

Since they didn't want to worry the envoys, it seed that the half-dragon knights did this instead of walk up to Eisen, since this was much simpler for him to get a grasp of the situation.

Ergency: Lord Silber has been deeply injured in the act of protecting the eting hall

Imdiately, Eisen jumped up from his seat, "If you would all excuse , there is sothing I have to take care of. We will end the day with so good food and a proper celebration in just a mont, so please stay here and rest well.

Now that the treaty was active, Eisen had no need to worry about the envoys anymore. Any one of them that now tried to do sothing against the others was going to end up having whatever country or clan they represented beco the target of all other mber countries. There was no way anyone was dumb enough to do that.

"Ambriel, Satel, with ," the old man said imdiately, trying not to yell. The angel and devil duo glanced at each other confused, and the other originals seed just as unsure what was going on.

Kiron quickly went to fill them in with a quiet whisper, but before they all understood the gist of it, Eisen had already slamd the hall's door shut behind him again.

"Yo, what's going on?" Satel asked, flapping his wings to push themself forward in an attempt to keep up with Eisen's speed. Similarly, Ambriel was in the process of starting flight so that they wouldn't be left behind.

"You two can use powerful healing, right?"

"Uh... I guess so? Ambriel's is more straightforward, holy stuff and all, but mine is a little more peculiar. If you're fine with that, then-" Satel pointed out, but Eisen interrupted them.

"Anything is fine. You just need to supplent the potions I'm about to give to my brother anyway," the old man said, spotting a small group of knights that was rushing toward him.

"Your Majesty! Please, your brother is outside the castle, he fended off so kind of attack! It looked like a spell of so sort!"

"An attack that could damage him to that degree? Seriously?" Eisen asked, just speeding up as he walked. The knights were practically sprinting to try and keep up with him, but Eisen really didn't have any ti to think about that all too much. He just listened to their explanation of where Silber was and then headed there imdiately. Though, he probably wasn't walking as fast as he could have.

Eisen was scared; scared to lose his brother again, though he had only just recently actually rembered him. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if Silber had to forfeit the life that was only just returned to him not all too long ago.

Eisen stepped out of the back of the building, approaching the towering pillar that Silber was currently sitting against. He was at his largest size; his current 'default'. It was much bigger than Eisen's largest state, though still much smaller than what Silber was keeping up as the 'God of the Mountain'.

The old man shot up in size and flew up to his brother, who had so mages and clerics surrounding him, trying to heal him. But Eisen knew that they wouldn't be able to do anything about this. No matter how powerful Ambriel and Satel's healing was, they wouldn't be able to help Silber.

The entire right half of his body was practically torn off. His arm was completely gone, and his right leg was practically just bone. His ribs were poking out through scorched, blackened flesh, and the parts of his body that were in relatively 'okay' condition were severely burnt.

Eisen made eye-contact with his younger brother, and tears stread down his face. But his growing anger and fury faded almost imdiately when he heard Silber's pained voice whispering out. The old man imdiately moved closer, placing his ear toward his brother's mouth, who slowly whispered out sothing rather unexpected.

"Eisen... ta ."
