Eisen looked at the wooden planks set up in a pile in front of him, which he had already prepared for Khan's furniture. He had asked the giant beforehand already, and he said that he didn't need anything special, so for the ti being, Eisen narrowed things down to a couple specific things. The first he was going to work on was the bed.
The wooden fra itself was relatively simple, and he just needed to connect the four legs with different planks to create the basic outer fra. Though, to make sure that the bed really was stable enough to carry Khan's weight, Eisen created a number of other supportive legs between each of the four main legs.
Not only that, but he created a sort of grid in the empty space within the bed's main fra that the slatted fra would be sitting on top of, and placed legs onto each intersection of that grid as well. Just for a bit more support.
The slatted fra itself was easy enough to make as well. Using so wood from a tree that was particularly springy when cut into these thin planks, Eisen just attached them straight to the bed's fra so that the mattress could rest on top of it. Of course, due to the scale, Eisen once more had to make so adjustnts, enchanting the slats to improve their flexibility and durability even further.
For now, Eisen pushed the bedfra into the corner of the room, and moved on to the next piece of furniture. He wanted to finish all the wooden base parts first before starting work on things that needed fabric and cushions, since those weren't things that he could do right here on-site just as easily.
So, Eisen quickly got started on the base for a simple armchair that Khan could take a seat in and relax in the evenings. For this, when it ca to the actual seat and backrest, Eisen wanted to add a few things that would make the whole thing a bit more comfortable. Mostly, enchantnts for either heating or cooling; depending on the season and what Khan felt like at the mont.
Khan was incredibly old for a giant; though his aging has been slowed considerably due to the effects of his race as a 'cursed giant', he had still beco an elder. And, from his own experience, Eisen knew how tough it was to properly deal with the heat or cold at tis, so having heated blankets or cooling packs at the ready was always a bit of a lifesaver for him.
Since he wanted to alter the actual cushion to make it as comfortable as possible, Eisen was going to place the heat-regulation parts onto the base fra.
In the end, it was really quite simple. Since Eisen could use his own elent to alter temperatures to extre heats and quite strong colds, he was able to use his own elent to simply change the temperature to slight degrees. Of course, he made sure to keep it contained to safe degrees; he didn't want Khan's seat to suddenly catch fire as he was sitting on it.
The crystals filling the actual enchanted engravings would be the parts that would heat up, so Eisen also used so specific crystal mixtures for this to make the heat or cold radiate out quite far, practically encasing the armchair in a controlled bubble.
And, just to make sure that Khan would be able to actually control how hot and cold he wanted it, Eisen attached a small dial to the side of the armrest that you could easily reach with your hand.
With the armchair done, Eisen quickly created a small side-table, with a single central leg holding it all up and a circular top, where Khan would be able to keep his drinks, scacks, or whatever else he needed while seated here. But otherwise, there really wasn't anything special to this table.
The sa was the case for the small table and pair of chairs that he created so that Khan had sowhere to actually eat. There wasn't really a need for anything special the be built into these. If Khan had so specific needs or habits that Eisen could support sohow, he could always just create small gadgets that could be placed all over the house.
And then, Eisen quickly got started on a simple wardrobe. By itself, there wasn't anything all to special about it, but since Khan was a swordsman at the end of the day, Eisen wanted to make sure that he could store whatever he wanted to in regard to his weapons and upkeeping tools, no matter what it really was.
To ensure he would have all the space he needed, Eisen lined the inside of the wardrobe with paint made from magic stones, engraving enchantnts into the paint to allow the space inside to be a little larger than before. Not massively, of course, but enough to make the wardrobe usable for more than just clothing, but also so regular storage.
Eisen placed so cupboards and sectioned shelves onto the inside, together with so hooks made to hold specifically swords. It seed as though he liked to always have a few backup weapons, so it wasn't a bad idea to let him keep them here.
For Khan's main weapon, though, Eisen created so hooks and attached them to the wall so that Khan could display his sword openly. He cared for it quite a lot, so it only made sense to allow him to show it off.
And then, Eisen moved on to the kitchen. Though, for now it would only be the basic appliances, and if he needed anything else, then Khan could ask Eisen to make him anything else that was more specific to his needs. The appliances that Eisen was making were a fridge, a freezer, a stove, an oven, and of course a sink.
The fridge and freezer both had the sa base setup; boxes with enchantnts placed onto their inside that would circulate cold air at different temperatures. This cold air, instead of coming from Eisen's magic, ca from so ice magic, though. Eisen figured that designing them with a more commonly accessible elent wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if he wanted to mass-produce these later.
The ability to keep food fresh over longer periods of ti was an incredibly useful thing to have, so it was one of the things that Eisen and the others wanted to spread around more. Of course, there were places that did already have fridges and freezers, but they were quite expensive so it was usually only restaurants or rich people that had them.
What Eisen wanted was to make them sothing that really everyone could buy; they were a necessity from his point of view.
Inside of the fridge and freezer, Eisen added so shelves, and then called it a day for now. As for the oven, it really had a quite similar setup, using regular fire magic to create the enchantnts on the inside of a tal box. This ti, he created so dials to adjust the actual temperature on its inside, though for now, he didn't add the different modes that ovens usually ca with.
He wanted Khan to be able to start living here soon, so he had to speed things up a bit.
Of course, in order to properly insulate it, Eisen used so so gel that had been collected from sli monsters. The gel from this particular sli species was perfect to block out changes in temperature, so Eisen used hardened sheets of this gel to act as a layer of protection between the oven and the building around it.
The stove itself was also quite simple, since Eisen just needed to create so fla-emitting enchantnts that were connected to a dial. It was one of the more simple things that you could create with enchantnts, and was actually one of the first things that Eisen himself had learned how to make.
Of course, later Eisen still needed to create actual pots and pans to go onto that stove, but for now, it was fine.
The lat thing that Eisen still needed to make for the kitchen was a simple sink. For this, he created a simple crystal tube that he enchanted to create flowing water when needed, adding so fire enchantnts onto it as well to allow for so hot water to co out of the tube as well.
The tube was then encased in water-proofed wood and placed at the edge of the sink's basin, where it was attached to the wall with a chain. Since the water was created in that small wooden piece itself, Eisen really just had to make sure that it couldn't be lost, so a chain was a simple solution for that.
A dial at its side that could be twisted to release the water as needed was enough to finish the sink up as well.
Now, Eisen was done with the bases for the furniture, and he could get started working on the cushions, blankets, and especially the mattress.
