"What a bother." Eisen said with a light scowl directed at the door when it was finally closed, and then turned toward Gralmar. "I don’t think you had these private rooms the last ti I was here." The old man pointed out as he sat down on one of the seats in here, and was quickly handed a large cup with beer in it by the Innkeeper.
"Yup. Good thing ’bout a mining town is that it ain’t very hard to find soone that can carve out more space. Really needed it after all those artificials got here... Every single night, it be just party after party! ’Specially bad this ti ’roung though." The Dwarf said with a sigh, and Eisen nodded his head with a slight frown.
"Mhm, Artificials will change a fair bit about this world, I can assure you." The old man said with a sigh, and then quickly downed the whole beer in his hand, while Morrom just started to laugh.
"Man, with a guy your size, we’d need a whole barrel to get you drunk, huh? I rember the first day you were here, with barely any stats at all, you got knocked out pretty quickly." The Dwarf-Elf Halfling chuckled, and the old man just smirked back at him as he placed the cup down on the table.
"Oh? If size is the issue here..." Slowly, Eisen’s whole body started shrinking down until he reached his own personal limit, turning him into the smallest person in this room very, very quickly, "I don’t think we’ll have to worry." He added as he slowly increased his size to normal again.
"Well, guess ya really found yerself as a Giant now, didn’t’cha?" Denmir asked with a broad grin, before the old man just chuckled. "Seems so, yes." He replied, all the whilst Jekyll was rather focused on sothing else.
"Erm, what’s with all the twerps ’round ya? And the Dragon?" The Dwarf-Beastperson Halfling inquired, so Eisen just smiled at him. "I’ll get to those later, for now, I think there’s soone else that wants to say sothing." Eisen pointed out and turned over toward Sky with a wink, before the Fey-Kin boy just slowly nodded his head and walked up in front of the table nervously, although he soon relaxed again.
"My na is Sky, I’m a Half-Pixie, Half-Human. A long ti ago, my mother died and I had to leave my ho, just to be captured by illegal Monster Traders. Eisen saved from there, and we soon found out that... I’m Bree’s Twin Brother. I have been traveling with them ever since. So now, I just want to thank all of you for being so kind to my sister while she was here." Sky explained quite swiftly, before he looked at the astonished faces around the table.
"Her Brother? Laddie, you had a brother? Why’d ya not tell us ’bout that?" Denmir asked surprised, and Bree just smiled back at him brightly, "Hehe, I didn’t know it either until I t him~!" She replied, but Sky quickly scoffed in response. "Well, Bree and I weren’t the only ones that t part of their family." He pointed out as he turned over toward Eisen, who just smirked and nodded his head while the others looked at him surprised.
"I happened to find a certain young Half-Dragon nad Kiron. Turns out, he was my Grandson in the end. He beca my Knight before we found out, though, and right now he’s training so other Half-Dragons to turn them into more Knights though. Although, they are on their way to Prototype again to get back to the mainland." The old man said, quickly noticing that there were a lot of parts the others couldn’t really keep up with, and Jekyll tried to first take apart the first part of that.
"So... on of yer kids f.u.c.k.i.e.d a Dragon?" He asked, and Eisen shook his head with a laugh.
"No, no, one of my kids f.u.c.k.i.e.d a human." The old man replied, making Jekyll frown in response.
"I’m talkin’’bout the parent of Kiron."
"I know."
"But ye said he’s a Half-Dragon..."
"He is."
"So one of yer kids slept with a Dragon..."
"Yeah, I know what you’re trying to say, but that’s not it."
"Then what is it?" Folmirra interrupted finally, not wanting this weird conversation to go on any further, and Eisen just slightly smiled at them.
"Just what I said. One of my kids fathered Kiron after falling in love with a Human woman. And that kid of mine just happens to be Trygan, the Crystal Dragon King." He pointed out, slowly taking out one of the boxes he had with him and quickly pulled the large Crystal Dragon Scale out of that box.
After trying to figure out if what exactly Eisen just said was really the truth, the five others in this room all just stared at the old man as Morrom loudly swallowed his saliva. "Eisen... What happened after you left?" He asked, and the old man just smirked as he leaned back in his seat.
"Well, let’s go with the most important points, shall we?" The old man chuckled, and then got started.
"We left with the carriage, and soon found an oversized Hive that I then burnt down. I took the Queen Bee egg from that, which happened to hatch and turned into this cute little lissa here. Then we made our way to Ornier, on the way t a young scamr who I built up to lead a quite large rchant Company, as well as an Elf that turned out to be a horrible person that may or may not be in cahoots with the Evil Dragon Queen... In Ornier, I t the Brewer Gralmar referred to as well as Evalia, one of the others that peaked and then had their experience stolen, got to shards of an amulet I needed to gather, and raided the monster shop that Sky already told you about. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, I’m publicly fighting against two Artificials and scare the shit out of the people of Ornier, giving a Demonic Title." The old man satrted in a bit of a rant, swiftly transforming his body into his Demonic Form to show them he was telling the truth.
"Then after that, we made our way to Handor to have all five of us that peaked et up... Actually there, I got the last shard of the amulet from Bree’s Ex-, and now again current, Boyfriend, raided the hideout of an evil organization, and then sohow ended up having to take care of people from a church, orphanage, and holess shelter all the whilst finishing up a second Draconic Trial... Then the five of us that peaked built a huge ship to get to the ’God Islands’, a rather dangerous island-group, and before then I picked up a number of people that turned out to be dead family mbers or friends of the five that peaked that were resurrected as Artificials... I fought a Giant Spider and got the egg that Sal later hatched out of... Then we made our way to those islands. On the way, the five of us created an artificial creature using a Dungeon Core that I had found a few weeks prior, the Dragon you see right here nad Fafnir, as well as a Core Guardian, Sigurd co and say hi." The old man said and stared into blank air for a while, before the short, red-haired figure appeared in a cloud of mist right above the table. "Heyo!" It exclaid, just to disappear again.
"Then, finally at the Islands, we found a town called ’Prototype’, which was filled with nurous monsters and broken-down guardians, which I repaired to take over the town as its Lord again. Turns out, the old built that town, so we just re-built it and moved on to the other islands, t a bunch of nice people, founded so more towns, and then we got back here... Besides eting and making a deal with the prince of Litgern, nothing much happened..." Eisen explained, rather quietly toward the end, slightly frowning as he tried to rember if anything else important happened.
"Oh, and I wanted to make a Giant Bottle of snake wine with the boss monster of Trygan’s Island, but it turned out to be a Nidhogg, so it ended up just being Dragon Wine." And after that, Eisen quickly grabbed another another cup of Beer that a Waitress currently brought into the room.
"Thanks, Dear." He said with a smile as he quickly drank from the beer to calm his throat down a little, although the others didn’t really know exactly how to react. And Eisen didn’t even speak about everything that happened, but they were still weirded out this much.
"Eisen..." A Female voice said as mist stread out from the necklace currently placed around Eisen’s arm as a bracelet while Kirisho was ’asleep’, as the Mist-Spirit appeared sitting right next to the old man. "Wasn’t that a bit too much at once?" She asked, and the old man raised his brows surprised as he turned over toward the others. "Was it? Sorry about that. But it wasn’t all that bad, Recaps just always sound way crazier than what actually happened!"
"Erm, I was there for most of it, it was actually a lot crazier than it sounds." Sky pointed out with a slight frown on his face, and Eisen looked back at him surprised.
"Really? Huh, didn’t seem that bad to ..." He replied with a wry smile, whilst the five in this room still just stared at Eisen with worry in their eyes. Denmir and Morrom already knew about who Eisen was, though it might still be a bit too much to hear about things like this actually going on.
"What kinda crap are ye even mutterin’ right ’ere?" Denmir asked confused, while Eisen just looked over toward him with a light smile on his lips. "That an you want to hear the detailed version? I an, we have all night, right?" Eisen suggested, and the five of them looked at each other to look for the others’ confirmation, before they all simply nodded.
"Yes, Eisen, tell us about what happened since then... With those... organizations... Dealers... You being a Demon, and whatever was going on on those islands... And most importantly, what’s actually going on with the fact that you’re one of those that peaked..." Morrom said quietly, simply looking at Eisen with determination, although the old man simply replied with a loud laugh.
"Hey hey, no reason to be so serious, is there? Just lean back, have a bit of a nice drink, and listen to what I have to tell you, alright?" The old man suggested, and just smirked at the people in front of him.
