Paralyzing Bite!
Elliot bit down really hard on the nearest Mutated Griffon’s neck with his powerful jaws and imdiately broke it with a loud CRACK!
He released the dead Mutated Griffon and flung it at a Mutated Griffon which was rushing at him!
Bam! The Mutated Griffon collided into his good buddy in a jumble of feathers.
Screeee!
The incoming Mutated Griffon slashed at his buddy ruthlessly and tried to disengage.
However, Elliot decided that they looked really good together and should spend the rest of their lives together from that mont on, their genders be damned.
Ice Beam!
Elliot released an Ice Beam at close range and froze both of them, sending them spiraling down after their leader.
BAM! Bite!! Slash!!
A large Mutated Griffon smashed into Elliot from the side and viciously bit his right wing and slashed at his body using its sharp claws.
“Damn it! Not good!” Elliot thought frantically as he roared in pain.
Thankfully, his Dragon Aura had strengthened him by 50% and weakened the Mutated Griffon by 50%. So although it had scored two direct hits on Elliot, it wasn’t able to deal critical damage.
Elliot’s wings weren’t ripped and his body rely suffered shallow scratches!
“Huh? I’m still ok. Excellent! It’s my turn now! Take this!”
The fighting style of a Beast Master could be said was the true epito of versatility. Elliot had no qualms abusing his cooldown-less beast transformation skills.
“Black Bear Warrior!” Elliot shouted in his mind and quickly turned into a powerful Black Bear Warrior in mid-air! The transformation dislodged the Mutated Griffon’s jaws and at the sa ti, Elliot gripped its body tightly with his claws and dragged it down with surprising force due to the Black Bear Warrior’s heavy weight!
Screeee!!!
It scread in shock as it fell quickly out of the sky.
Elliot flung the screaming Mutated Griffon down with all of its might and turned back into his White Dragon Warrior form before blasting the Mutated Griffon with an Ice Beam.
It truly was a ssy, chaotic and apparently pretty effective fighting style!
“Four down, eleven to go!” Elliot thought grimly as he turned to look at the rest of the Mutated Griffons. However, out of the eleven, eight were already flying away and three were swerving to their left and right, trying to get out of Elliot’s way.
“Cowards!” Elliot scoffed lightly.
However, just as he was about to open his mouth and blast a few Ice Beams at the Mutated Griffons, his instincts suddenly blared with overwhelming power and he imdiately threw himself down into a high speed dive!
As he did so, he turned his head slightly around and saw a scene that he would never, ever forget.
One of the Mutated Griffons was literally shredded into pieces right behind him!
The cause?
A large, spherical and bright red spinning contraption of so sort that had sharp blades rotating at high speed both clockwise and anticlockwise all over it. It was around one ter in diater, and worked absolutely wonderfully as a at shredder.
And it was hurtling at an insanely high speed towards Elliot!
He only had one course of action left to him before the contraption shredded him to pieces as well.
ICE BEAM!
Elliot used a huge chunk of the last remaining ice energy within him and spat out the most powerful Ice Beam he could conjure up at that mont and watched the red contraption smash into the Ice Beam and power through it as though it was nothing.
“What?? Could this be the end for ?” Elliot thought in surprise.
Strangely, there was no panic in his heart. Everything was happening way, way too quickly for his feelings to even react.
BAM!! The contraption smashed into Elliot with great force, but it didn’t shred his body apart like it did the Mutated Griffon.
The damned red ball was frozen solid by his Ice Beam!
“Yes!” Elliot thought even as he winced in pain.
He had felt one of his bones breaking under the force of the contraption’s collision. Elliot powered through the pain and twisted his body around so that his jaws could reach that damned red ball.
Paralyzing Bite!
Elliot’s powerful jaws clamped down on the red ball and he imdiately shot out a generous dose of Ice Beam to keep it frozen and inert.
After making sure that the red ball was completely frozen solid, he slowly made his way down back to the ground.
“Damn this red ball. It almost got . Thankfully the Ice Beam froze its spinning blades, or else I would have probably ended up like that Mutated Griffon earlier!” Elliot thought with a slight shiver in his mind.
What a close shave with death!
He glanced around and noticed that all of the remaining Mutated Griffons had completely disappeared. It was as though they were extrely afraid of the red ball. He squinted his eyes and checked the whole area, but he didn’t find any clues that could indicate what exactly that red ball was.
It was made of extrely tough material, and even biting with all of his strength did not even make the tiniest dent on it.
Thankfully the Ice Beam worked. If not, it would truly be one heck of a killing machine.
No wonder the Mutated Griffons fear it so completely!
As soon as he reached the ground, Elliot summoned one of his Giant Armored Mammoths and got it to step on the damned red ball to prevent it from moving around.
He reverted to human form and winced in pain. The red ball had broken one of his rib bones. But it was a minor injury compared to what could have happened.
He looked at the red ball that was absolutely inert under the Mammoth’s giant foot and asked the question he had been wondering aloud.
“What in the world is this stupid red ball??”
