It was so quick, and the beam of yellow energy was so tiny that neither Ganruk nor Jane the Guide and Ga Referee discovered it.
"You will discover this for yourself sooner or later, but let just tell you now to save you so ti. Your plane's thod of manipulating power is crude and makes for a weak foundation. You may be a freak of nature that powered up using less crude thods, but an advanced pulley is still a pulley. It will not be able to match the power of nanotechnology. And such is your situation. To reach the greatest heights of power, you must first fix your foundations." The gruff voice appeared in Elliot's mind and then disappeared along with his pillar of light.
"Hmph. Those ddling bastards from the Seventh Heaven. Alright. Now that he's gone, continue to power up and break through. If you don't I'll slaughter you and your pathetic beasts!" Ganruk shouted at Elliot before his voice too disappeared without a trace.
Elliot looked around him calmly as his mind raced.
The gruff voice from the yellow beam of light owed him a favor and granted him not only that strange bit of yellow energy, but also critical information, that if it was true, would require him to destroy the entirety of his power base and rebuild from scratch.
But what if he was rely trying to ruin the "seed" that was in Ganruk's hand by giving him fake advice? Or maybe he just wanted to destroy the links that Winter had with her previous life? It would be the perfect move as most people would think that the advice he gave after being helped would be sothing beneficial.
On the other hand, Ganruk, who had vested interest in seeing him power up as much as possible, did not ntion anything about having to destroy his power base. Even though he was such a bastard, interests do not lie. He would be best served if Elliot was to be as powerful as he could be, and the fact that he did not ntion such a monuntal fact of having to rework his foundation created a very strong question mark on the gruff voice's advice.
Still, it was also very possible that Ganruk rely saw his plane as a source of free labor, and thus was content to leave him in his erroneous foundation and forever remain an entire power scale lower than all of them within the higher plane. And if that was the case, then it would be in the gruff voice's interest that Elliot grow strong so that he could create havoc in the Fifth Heaven's free labor force.
It was truly a confusing situation.
As he pondered on these things, Elliot sent his energy to seek out the tiny beam of yellow energy that had entered his body earlier.
Within a short mont, he found it.
Like a flower blooming in spring, the tiny yellow energy unfurled its petals and revealed to Elliot the wonders of its contents.
And just like that, the questions in his mind vaporized.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!!
One after the other, basic but highly intricate Law Runes appeared in his mind. And as soon as those Law Runes appeared, what the gruff voice said early beca as clear a crystal clear day.
"He was not lying." Elliot realized with a deep sense of relief in his heart. Knowing that Winter had just gone away with soone that was so far honest and who knew how to repay debts was highly gratifying.
The Law Runes that appeared in his mine were foundational guidance on how to form the foundations of power!
And unlike the pathway of power which he had gone through in the past few months, this brand new pathway did not separate the soul and the body.
Right off the bat, the developnt of the soul was to be done not only in conjunction with the body, but also in combination with!
The soul and the body were never ant to be separated at all!!
Elliot took a deep breath, and began to earnestly study the new pieces of foundational law runes.
Even with his highly enhanced brain, he realized that the process of complete combination of the soul and the body was a monuntal task.
It was intricate, ti and skill sensitive, as well as exhaustively long.
And as his mind slowly digested the initial principles and thodologies laid out in the foundational law runes, he began to understand with growing excitent what the gruff voice ant.
"Indeed! Reaching the highest levels of power can only be done this way!!" Elliot exclaid excitedly in his heart.
"No wonder my soul power spiked so much when I got into contact with those Law Runes. They were advanced Law Runes which impacted my soul when I sank my consciousness within them.
And these Law Runes from that gruff old man… These are foundational runes that teach a strange but complete pathway in combining the soul and the body.
A mighty generous present indeed!!" Elliot was touched.
It was trendously easy for a rich man to gift a poor man just a tiny bit of gold which ant nothing to the rich man, and which ant everything to the poor man.
Many people might even begrudge the rich man for being stingy by giving such a tiny bit of his wealth.
But whatever the rich man was, whether he be stingy or not, one simple fact remains.
The gold that the rich man gifted to the poor man had the power to dramatically change the poor man's life.
And in Elliot's case, that tiny sliver of yellow energy was such a gold coin.
It didn't matter how insignificant that yellow energy was.
All that mattered to Elliot was… It would open the door which led to the greatest heights of power for him!
"These Seventh Heaven guys seem pretty good, unlike the Fifth Heaven bastards." Elliot thought to himself as he continued to delve deep and bask in the wonder of learning sothing new which was critically important to his growth.
However, five minutes had barely passed when Elliot frowned deeply.
"Wait a minute! Why am I sensing that these Law Runes… could be improved??" Elliot suddenly shouted to himself in shock.
