“Oh my God! The two dragons are stronger than Wu Kong? Impossible! How can brother Wu Kong be defeated? Pip! Your portal is broken! It’s… huh? It’s broken??”
Red was shouting in indignance at how Khalendros and Khellendra’s light shone brighter than Wu Kong’s when Kai stepped through the portal as well and caused the entire portal to wink out of existence entirely!!
“Huh?” Even Elise Sands was shocked! “Did he just…”
“Yes. He just used up all of the remaining energy. It’s only a Lord Grade beast core, afterall, and its energy was probably close to depletion after cloning so many powerful beasts.” Elliot explained hesitantly.
He wasn’t sure if it was the right explanation.
True his beasts were insanely powerful, but the nuclear fusion of a Lord Grade beast core should be strong enough to power even the cloning of Primals!
How could it run out of energy so quickly?
Elliot looked at Kai suspiciously. Just what did he do in the beast dinsion for the past few days? And just how powerful was he now?
“Here. This is an Emperor Grade beast core. Make sure you make no mistake with your portal. It will be a disaster if it explodes.” Elise tossed the precious beast core to Elliot casually.
Elliot caught it, and imdiately started to create another clone portal.
Within a few minutes, he was done. He had gotten more proficient in weaving the runes, and took much less ti than before to create the clone portal.
Elise noted the marked improvent and was silently impressed. “I am hanging out with a collection of monstrous geniuses.” She thought to herself.
“Kai, once more please.” Elliot gestured to the portal.
“Of course, Master.” Kai nodded and passed through the portal once more.
Whoooshhh!!!!!
The portal trembled lightly and the brightest burst of light that rivalled even that of a star shone forth from the Emperor Grade beast core!!
“Aiyeeeeeeee!! I’m blind!! I’m blind!!! Helppp!!!” Red scread like a chicken being feathered.
As quickly as it started, the burst of light disappeared, and two Kais calmly walked out of the other side of the portal.
His light was by far the brightest, much brighter than even the two dragons.
“Impressive. I thought I had hidden my strength well. But you’ve hidden yours much better.” Khalendros smiled widely at Kai.
Kai rely smiled back and nodded.
He wasn’t actually hiding his strength on purpose. If the need to use his full strength had arisen, he wouldn’t hesitate to use it. It was just that he never felt the need to use it before.
But it wasn’t all smiles for Elliot and Elise who were both staring at the Emperor Grade beast core in disbelief.
“No wonder the previous portal winked out of existence.” Elliot muttered and shook his head.
“A gem. Truly a precious gem!!” Elise Sands’ eyes glead as she nodded vigorously in approval.
After Kai had passed through the portal, the Emperor Grade beast core had reduced in size by a full tenth.
A tenth!!
It would be good to note that above Lord level is King level, then Emperor level. A thousand Lords would not win a fight against a King, and a thousand Kings would not win against an Emperor. (In most cases. Elliot’s case was a ga-breaking anomaly and should not be counted.)
If the amount of beast core used up was used as a benchmark of their strength, then Kai would be more than a million tis stronger than even the two blue dragons!
But it wasn’t the case.
So there must be sothing within Kai that the portal had detected and struggled to clone, to the point that it needed a tenth of an Emperor grade beast core to do so.
Sothing truly magnificent, and probably more than terrifying.
But as of that mont, it was still sothing unknown.
“Good. Now that the Beast Apostles are done, let’s get the Dragon Apostles to try.” Elliot finally said and smiled at the ten Dragon Apostles that each held the power to destroy stars with a single breath.
They all nodded dutifully at their esteed “Dragon Overlord” and imdiately moved towards the clone portal in a neat column.
One at a ti, starting from the Chromatics then to the tallics.
And one at a ti, the Emperor Grade beast core shone brightly, each much brighter than the two blue dragons, of course, but each also not as bright as Kai’s.
The Beast Apostles hooted and roared in shock and exultation!
“What! Brother Kai is the strongest of all of Master’s Apostles? Wahahahahahaha! Rom! Aldera! You both have aweso genes! What a son you have!!” Brock shouted!
“Wowowow!! Not even Dragon Primals could defeat our Brother Kai?? Aweso! Amazing! Astounding!!!” Red shouted as well!
“Wow! Good! I don’t know why they are shouting, but good! Very good!” A mole shouted.
“Wowowow! Bildie numbel one is implessed! Veli implessed!”
“Implessed by wat, bildie numbel one?”
“I dunno! Mastel Led is veli implessed! So I am implessed also!”
“You dumbo! If Mastel Led is implessed, then you can’t be implessed! You must be double implessed! Ol even tliple implessed!”
“You al light! I am tliple implessed! Foul tis implessed!”
“Good! also!”
The Dragon Apostles rely smiled at the cute little beasts which they could easily eat for a light snack if they wanted to.
Of course they understood that there was sothing within Kai that was unique, and that he wasn’t stronger than them.
But they couldn’t be bothered to reply to the other beasts. They coolly maintained their silence, until…
“Wahahahaha! I bet that they are all too embarrassed and too scared to say anything now!” Red hooted with glee. “To think that a one month old adolescent can defeat them so handily! They must be trembling in their boots! Sweating out cold sweat! Screaming in fear within their hearts! Their brains must be blank with terror! And their hands must be clammy at the ridiculousness of their utter and complete defeat! Whahahahahahahaha!!!”
Wu Kong and the other beasts rely facepald themselves in their minds.
Just how would Red suffer due to his out of control tongue this ti?
