Elliot nicked his already scarred palm once more to draw out so blood and nicked a small wound on the baby monkey’s arm.

Imdiately a powerful mind space, much more powerful than all of the previous ones, descended upon them.

“Human Beast Master.” A calm but obviously joyous voice sounded in Elliot’s mind. “Thank you for saving from the monsters.”

“Hey Wu Kong. Don’t worry about it. It was your father’s last wish. How could I not do it?” Elliot replied.

“Still, I owe you my life. And I have nothing with which I could show my gratitude.” Wu Kong said. Despite being a newborn, Wu Kong was able to speak and reason like an adult. Truly a legendary beast.

“That’s fine. You’re a powerful legendary beast, and I am rely a weak little human. In this apocalyptic world, you’ll definitely have many chances to repay the debt in the future.” Elliot told him.

“I will be your Guardian and protect you with my life.” Wu Kong nodded and said seriously.

“I appreciate that.” Elliot smiled. “Anyway, this is for you. Your father’s final act was to take this beast core out from his body.” Elliot said as he took out the Great Sage’s beast core and passed it to Wu Kong.

“My father’s beast core?” Wu Kong took it gingerly and looked at it in grief. He closed his eyes for a few monts as he held it close to his heart.

A single drop of tear rolled down Wu Kong’s cheek.

Elliot remained silent and gave him a few monts to grieve.

After a minute or so, Wu Kong opened his eyes once more. His eyes were clear and the cloud of grief had disappeared. In its place was a razor sharp determination. And judging by the faint bloodlust that it was emitting, it was a determination for revenge.

He passed the beast core back to Elliot.

“That beast core is probably ant for you. I have a much stronger activated bloodline compared to him, consuming that beast core would not do any good. If you find a powerful beast, one that is worthy of inheriting my father’s power, you can give the beast core to it.” Wu Kong said.

“Hmmm? You sure you don’t want it to rember your father by?” Elliot asked.

“He still lives within .” Wu Kong replied with a smile.

“Oh. Alright then. I will keep it until I find a worthy beast.” Elliot said and stored the beast core safely once more.

“Anyway, would you like to sign a contract with to be my tad beast?” Elliot asked Wu Kong.

As the details of the contract appeared in their minds, Wu Kong remained silent for a few monts and blinked several tis.

“No.” Wu Kong finally replied.

“No?” Elliot was stunned. He had thought that taming Wu Kong would be a sure thing!

“A mory appeared in my mind just now showing a better contract for us. I would be able to serve you better as a Beast Apostle.” Wu Kong said seriously.

[Beast Apostle system unlocked.]

“Beast Apostle? What is that?” Elliot asked in surprise.

Suddenly, details of the Beast Apostle contract appeared in Elliot’s mind.

[The Beast Master will receive XP when the Beast Apostle and any of his Clan mbers kill other beasts.]

[The Beast Master will receive a monthly XP Tribute depending on the size of the Beast Apostle’s Clan.]

“WHAT?!?!?! JAAAAAACK!!! POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!” Elliot scread hysterically in his mind!

“JACKPOT! I HIT THE JACKPOT!! BAHAHAHA! BAAAA HAHAHAH! BAHAHAHAAH!” Elliot’s unhealthy ntal health caused him to have a slightly exaggerated response.

But the Beast Apostle Contract was truly amazing.

And Elliot wasted no ti signing it with Wu Kong.

“SIGN! SIGN IT!” Elliot shouted in his mind.

“Lightning.” Elliot imdiately answered. Lightning symbolizes speed and damage, both of which were Wu Kong’s strength as a powerful monkey beast.
