“You learnt Astral Steps from a being that eventually beca your Beast Apostle? Astral Steps is a high grade movent technique available only to ancient clans with long years of accumulation. Just who in all of heavens is she? And how powerful is she?” Jessica said in surprise.
“Her identity is a secret.” Monkey King smiled at the girls. “But it is safe to say that with her around, I will probably never lose any battle with the Kings of the known universe.”
He turned to look at Jul’Taras and chuckled slyly. “Now you know that I was going easy on you when we battled.”
Jul’Taras smiled sweetly at him and simply said, “Uh huh. You think I wasn’t going easy on you? If she’s your only trump card then I am afraid… You’ll never win against even if you have another ten of her.”
Hila’s ears twitched slightly as her sharp hearing caught everything Jul’Taras said, who didn’t bother to lower her voice at all.
Although she knew for certain that Monkey King would never like such a fearso being, it still irked her enormously that a female was so much closer to Monkey King than she was, and had such a rich history with him.
However, Hila was busy unleashing a torrent of powerful sword slashes at Wu Kong, so she couldn’t respond to Jul’Taras. Yet.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Hila’s attacks were delivered with such force against Wu Kong’s powerful rod that their collisions sounded more like clashes between huge blunt objects rather than sword strikes against a rod.
“Your rod can actually resist my ethereal blade? You are an abomination!” Hila hissed in anger.
Wu Kong rely smiled grimly as he executed his parries as fast as he could. Although not a single attack of Hila’s had landed on him yet, only he knew that he had been pushed to the very limits of his reaction speed just to parry all of Hila’s attacks!
If she sped up just a little bit more, he would fail to parry so of her attacks, and Wu Kong didn’t want to find out just how deadly her ethereal blade is.
Thankfully, Hila seed to have unleashed her full strength in her torrent of attacks with her ethereal blade, and she quickly withdrew after attacking Wu Kong for almost a thousand hits.
Wham! Wham! Wham!
The Darklight Mammoth Warrior caught up with Hila and continued its near mindless attacks on her.
Without effect.
“That’s all you got, little girl? Then now it’s my turn!” Wu Kong grinned at her wickedly and unleashed his secret skill which he got from the system as a “reward for significant contributions to the Beast Master”.
“Feral Judgent.” Wu Kong said and transford into a huge and wildly powerful monkey!
GRAAAHHHHH!
Gone was his calm and cool composure, completely replaced by a feral ferocity that bordered on insanity.
However, that was not all.
After Elliot’s Beast Apostle System had been upgraded to his self-nad Darklight Apostle System, all of his system-generated skills had received upgrades. So minor, and so massive.
His summoned beasts, tad beasts and Beast Apostles had received upgrades as well!
Although his Beast Apostles did not change completely into Darklight Warriors like his summoned beasts did, the upgrades they received were no less earth shaking.
Wu Kong’s eyes transford from its angry red form into a cold, taoist yin-yang form.
A completely strange and unknown aura emanated from Wu Kong and caused all of the veterans of the known universe (Aunt Hillary, Jessica, Jules, Monkey King, Hila and the secretly watching El’Taras) to have bewildered looks on their faces.
GRAHHHHHHHH!!!
The ferocious Wu Kong leapt up high and raised his rod to the heavens as he prepared to deliver an earth-rending smash to Hila!
Facing two ferocious beasts completely intent on delivering pure physical damage on her, Hila rely rolled her eyes and took their attacks calmly.
Or rather, she allowed their attacks to completely pass through her body and smash the sand beneath her into dust.
However, as Wu Kong’s powerful attack passed through her body, Hila could feel the strange energy pull at her and impact her body very, very slightly!
WHAM! WHAM!
Wu Kong’s attack and the Darklight Mammoth Warrior’s attack smashed onto the sand like two teors slamming onto the planet!
Ugh!
Hila spurted out a little bit of blood from her mouth, and her body began to shimr slightly.
“What?” Monkey King shouted in disbelief. “Wu Kong’s attack actually managed to damage Hila?”
The sight of his enemy taking damage caused Wu Kong to fall into a frenzy as he began to unleash his attacks rapidly!
WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!
His attack speed was so high that for every smash the Darklight Mammoth Warrior managed to unleash, Wu Kong unleashed three!
However, Hila had learnt her lesson. After knowing that Wu Kong’s attack could deal damage to her, she avoided it like the plague.
She executed her Astral Steps to perfection and easily avoided Wu Kong’s barrage of smashes.
“Take this attack of mine if you can, you damned monkey!” Hila growled lightly and brought her terrifying energy to bear.
A black wave of pure dark energy shot to the skies and began to coalesce into thousands upon thousands of sharp spikes.
As soon as the two words left her mouth, the sharp spikes burst forth from the sky and rained down on Wu Kong and the Darklight Mammoth Warrior!
There was no hope at all for the poor Darklight Mammoth Warrior.
The dark energy spikes shredded it into nothingness within monts.
However, taking down Wu Kong with his powerful Feral Judgent transformation was not going to be so easy.
He twirled his massive rod above like a helicopter and smashed every single dark energy spike that landed upon it!
GRRAAAA!!!
He roared triumphantly as he smashed the last of the dark energy spike apart.
Unfortunately for him, his mont of triumph was extrely short lived.
Danger! His instincts suddenly scread. He threw his body to the side with all of his might! But it was too late.
