“Amazing!” Monkey King shouted with pleasant surprise. “It appears that I have to take you more seriously! Co out, Riptide, Water Apostle, Hellstream, Wind Apostle, and… Hila. Dark Apostle.”
Two powerful swirls of energy appeared next to Bulltakor and a mont later, two huge figures no less humongous and nacing than the Fire Apostle appeared!
One was obviously a giant crocodile of sorts, but mutated and enhanced to such an extent that it was almost fifteen ters tall and standing on two legs, making it look like a full blown dinosaur. Except that it was still greenish in colour, like a crocodile.
The other one was a beautiful long legged three headed giant bird with startlingly beautiful golden feathers and a pair of sleek tallic wings that looked like they could slice through mountains easily. Of course the fact that it was standing tall at almost twenty ters helped.
Elliot waved his hands and dismissed all of his beasts except for Frosty, Rom, Aldera, and Wu Kong. By that ti, all four were already King level, and were more than qualified to take on Monkey King’s Beast Apostles.
“Honorable. But foolish.” Monkey King smiled at Elliot’s obvious intention of having their Beast Apostles do their battle with similar numbers.
“My Beast Apostles are all battle tested Kings.” Elliot smiled back. “They can hold their own.”
Monkey King rely laughed out loud and folded his arms in front of him as though he was preparing to watch a show.
At the side, Jessica Sands and Jul’Taras were not even pretending to be fighting anymore. They had accepted the fact that the 2v2 had devolved into a 1v1 between the two Beast Masters, and at the sa ti evolved into a 4v4 among their beasts! They were even openly chatting and making bets!
“Four versus four. Who do you got?” Jul’Taras asked Jessica.
“Three to one, Elliot’s victory.” Jessica said very confidently and biasedly.
“Hahaha. Three to one for too, Wu Kong’s victory.” Jul’Taras said with an excited smile.
“Count in girls! I want in on the action as well!” Aunt Hillary chid in from the side. “I bet one resource planet that Jessica’s boy will win overall.”
“Aunt Hills!” Jul’Taras frowned at her and gave a very, very, very, uncharacteristic pout.
“Haha! You have a good eye, Aunt Hills!!” Jessica shouted happily.
“Fine. Let’s focus on the battle. You’ll both see how wrong you are.” Jul’Taras sulked cutely.
Back on the beach, as soon as both Water and Wind Apostles fully materialized, all three knelt down respectfully.
The strange thing was, they didn’t kneel towards Monkey King, but towards a spot that was glowing with a terrifying black glow!
Whoooooo…
A chilling and ominous wind that sohow caused the moods of all who were present to fall suddenly blew from all directions. For so strange reason, their hearts began to beat slightly faster, as adrenalin began to pump in their bodies.
A distinct fear blood slightly in their hearts. Yes, even in the Hegemon Hillary Sands! She frowned very lightly and imdiately dispelled the aura around her by releasing a tiny bit of her own. However, she made sure not to impact anybody else, so that they could experience the fight in full.
Elliot stared at the terrifying black glow with his heart pounding madly.
Elliot sighed and finally circulated his powerfully enhanced Purgatory Fire Energy. As soon as he did that, his pounding heart cald down.
However, his public mindspace was abuzz with exclamations, especially from Red, who had invited himself out of Elliot’s beast space to watch the upcoming battle.
“What the heck? Why am I feeling so terrified? I have never felt this way in my entire life! And I have a very, very exciting life filled with rich experiences from all sorts of worlds! What in the world did this damned monkey ta as his Beast Apostle? Ah! Damn it! I’m so scared! This is totally unacceptable! Ahh! Ahhhhh!”
“Shut up birdie.” Rom growled. “You’re not even fighting. You’re only spreading your fear to the rest of us. Look at Elliot, he’s completely calm, isn’t he? He must have a secret plan. Don’t worry and believe in him!”
“Whatever that Beast Apostle is, it won’t be much stronger than its Master. So whatever it is, anyone of us can take it on. Don’t worry.” Frosty said coolly.
“It’s a Dark Apostle. I am the Light Apostle. I will be the one to fight it.” Aldera said very simply.
“No. Wait for the Dark Apostle to materialize, and we can arrange our strategies then.” Wu Kong calmly comnted.
It was unknown when it happened, but along the way, Wu Kong had assud command of all of Elliot’s beasts, tad and Apostles alike, and they had all accepted it without any complaints.
So when Wu Kong said that, all of them had simply nodded and waited for him to issue his commands.
Space above the spot finally shimred as a being appeared.
It was a…
“Huh? All that terrifying build up just for a freaking black cat? Are you freaking kid- WHOA!” Red shouted.
It was a black cat.
But as soon as it materialized, it shapeshifted into a pretty but deathly pale little human girl in a creepy black dress and long black hair.
With heart-poundingly eerie, shining green eyes.
“I’m outta here.” Red muttered and promptly disappeared. “I had enough of watching creepy female human beings fight for the rest of my very, very long life. No more!”
It was good that he went back when he did, because the creepy girl suddenly opened her mouth and unleashed the most fearso scream that Elliot had ever heard!
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!”
Her green eyes flashed eerily and an ethereal crown slowly coalesced into being on her head.
Behind her, the three Apostles rumbled loudly in their respective deep monster voices and shrill bird cry.
“We respectfully welco the Princess of the Night.” They said with fervent voices.
