The near-infinite cosmos...

A vast sea of space that stretches out for endless light-years. Before the world beca what it was, before Supers and other such things road and explored, planet Earth had studied the universe that they were in.

Many theories were created, and questions were asked, yet those humans were never able to truly figure out what started the universe and where the concept of life ca from.

So believed it ca from an entity they called God. Others believed a series of incidents all occurred, starting the big bang, and then later forming into the vast planets, one of which was Earth. So still believed that another species created them. A force of nature beyond their understanding, but not Godlike in nature.

The old humans told many stories and were always seeking to conquer the unknown. Many of the fables of today ca from the humans of yesterday, such as the tale of Gods, Angels, Devils, and Giants.

Current humanity wasn't concerned about where such things ca from or the beginning of their world. After all, the planet itself had shifted and changed once the entity known as the Lords arrived, and then later, it once again changed when the Shadow appeared, sending everything back to the Stone Age and forcing the cycle to repeat.

Most people, Supers, and monsters were focused on the future and not the past. That was one of the many reasons the Thaddeus clan stood out considerably. The Thaddeus clan was ranked directly under the noble families and consisted mainly of scholars. They looked back into the past, either through years of study or the use of superpowers, in order to see the old world, and they discovered many things, such as the fact that there was a wide assortnt of religions and beliefs that existed before the appearance of the first four Lords. The study of the old world led the founder of the Thaddeus clan, a man nad Theo, down a path in which he beca curious about the workings of the universe and the many theories the humans of old held.

These theories were passed down and soon picked up by a scientist by the na of Harrison Avalon.

In the early stages of Sini Corp's creation, Mr. Avalon, who at the ti studied under Sini, wanted to see about discovering life on other planets, as well as figuring out how planet Earth was able to survive despite so many intense battles that occurred, as well as the use of dangerous light-speed powers that appeared on the surface of the world. Avalon brought his findings to Sini, but most of them were hand-waved and ignored by the older Super, who was focused on fighting Lucifer at the ti.

It wasn't until the great discovery occurred that Avalon was able to make a breakthrough and convince Sini to work with him. And what was the great discovery?

The planets had moved...

With the help of Theo Thaddeus, Avalon was able to use his power of mory manipulation and create a field that showed the original solar system that the humans of old had. The sun existed in the center, and planets such as rcury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all rotated around it due to the great gravitational force that the sun gave off.

This was no longer the case...

Humanity wasn't the only thing that had been altered. The universe itself had twisted and changed. With the existence of so many powers upon planet Earth, so of which included gravity-twisting powers, the solar system had been shifted by just a small bit. Such a tiny change in the grand sche of things didn't look like much, but it had greatly affected everything, causing the already unstable planets to beco more unstable.

Sohow, defying science and logic, Earth had forced its way closer to the sun, which in turn threw off the other planets' alignnts. Such a thing would have resulted in a great cataclysm that would wipe out all life in the solar system, but one thing was stopping this from happening.

In the center of the sun there was a power. One that went beyond gravity, reason, and logic. A great force. An unseen hand was holding and rotating every planet on loop, keeping the entire solar system held together by its sheer force alone. This hand was also the thing that caused many planets, notably Earth and Mars, to stay pieced together despite the fact that there were world-ending powers happening on them every day. This hand was unseen by all and unfelt, yet Avalon was able to discover that it existed. It was beyond the conscious folds of reality, lying just beneath everything. Like a real hand of God that guided all. No one knows when it appeared or why, but it alone kept the stability of the Milky Way galaxy, and should it ever vanish, the fallout would cause the planets to stray off their course, greatly altering and breaking many of them.

The discovery of this event was kept under wraps, and only the highest-ranking people in the Hero Branch and Enforcers know about it. This... Hand of God is also the reason Sini agreed to the study of space travel and tead up with Avalon to create the towers.

The towers were constructs that could rapidly transport matter across ti and space, allowing a target to teleport vast distances. Most teleportation abilities, with the exception of those on the level of a Lord or Ruler, could only go relatively short distances, so the towers being able to send a power to one of the other planets in the solar system was considered a great feat. There was an issue with these towers, however.

They needed to be built before they could be used.

A tower could only send matter to another tower.

Avalon and Sini tead up with a Super nad Wire, who had an ability that allowed him to slowly bend space-ti in subtle ways. Wire was one of the new humanity's first astronauts and was sent out on a mission to build other towers across the solar system.

Sini was desperate to create these towers due to fear of the Hand of God. Seeing how much influence such a thing had made Sini want to leave the entire solar system and try to escape, just on the off chance that the hand changed and caused all planets to fall.

With the help of Wire, the secretive space project was able to set up a few towers before they finally ran into their first obstacle.

It appeared out of nowhere... Wire discovered it when he landed on Mars. He found structures and hints of a civilization that once existed. That civilization had been wiped out, though. Sothing had destroyed them slowly, leaving them in ruins. Sothing that was still on the planet. Sothing that woke up.

The Beast from Space visited Earth that day and destroyed most of the towers that had been set up. In only a day, Sini's hopes to leave the solar system were destroyed because of an unknown force of chaos. Such a thing had never been seen before. It wasn't human, nor did it have anything in common with humanity. It couldn't be spoken to or reasoned with, for it existed just to destroy.

The project ca to an end, and Sini decided to look for a different solution to save humanity. He decided he needed to stop the Beast first and spent his ti looking into that.

Avalon, however, looked elsewhere. Around this ti, the threat known as the Emperor appeared, and with the help of Wire, Avalon ca up with a plan. Unknown to mankind, the Emperor had built his base on the moon. Avalon tricked Wire into trying to repair the tower, going behind Sini's back, causing Wire to fall into the Emperor's clutches. The Emperor saw the potential in Wire and used his power to remake and rebuild Wire.

Wire went from an astronaut to a spaceship, becoming the warrior known as Golden God. As Golden God, Wire now possessed a body that could alter space-ti even better, and he no longer had to worry about air. He was massive, bigger than any tower, and could fly at light speed, allowing him to go nearly anywhere in the universe.

Golden God served as the Emperor's personal spaceship, and Avalon used the machine to explore the solar system, but only when the Beast was engaged in battle with Full Monarch, since the creature would be too distracted to stop or notice them. This allowed Avalon to research and learn more about the Hand of God and put together a theory about what it truly was.

Later on, the Emperor would be defeated by Full Monarch. The Emperor was hit so hard he went flying out of Earth and landed on another planet, where he died. Being a Ruler, however, he was able to force himself to revive and co back. No one knew about this aside from a select group of people, however. During this ti, Golden God was spotted fleeing the solar system, and unknown to all, he carried his master with him, the two of them escaping.

All concepts of escaping space were thrown out the window due to the death of Sini and the Beast, and the project beca forgotten. Avalon was owned by the Hero Branch, who ordered him to work on a new project. This one involved creating realms, seeking pocket spaces as the new way to escape from the Beast. Eventually this project would also be closed since it relied too heavily on the Lords and was extrely expensive to create a gateway.

The Hero Branch kept the concept about the Hand of God secret and decided to figure out a solution another ti, since it hadn't changed since it was first noticed.

The concept of space travel, however, got brought back up when the hero known as Boy Genius beca curious. He built a radar that could map out the entire solar system in real ti, going well beyond light speed to do so, and that was when he also discovered the ruins that Wire had found on Mars. Seeing such things got Boy Genius curious, and he began to wonder if life existed on other planets.

Sadly, Boy Genius was unable to discover anything. Life did exist out there, but it was seemingly gone. With his advanced tech, he was able to look out at the entire universe. Parts of it were still impossible for him to see, but he was able to study over half of the universe, and what he saw sent a chill down his spine.

More ruins.

Radiation, the exact sa level of which ca from the Beast, was picked up across all of these ruins, leading Boy Genius to the chilling discovery. Life had existed out in the universe besides humanity, but the Beast got to them first. Now, Earth might be the only planet left that still contains life. Everything had been wiped out by the Beast of Space, which now set its gaze on planet Earth.

Also, during his study, Boy Genius, by pure chance, happened to spot Golden God flying through space. The villain was light-years away from the Milky Way galaxy and wouldn't be able to reach them for another year, but it got Boy Genius to wonder.

For nearly fifteen years, Golden God and the Emperor flew through space, getting further and further away, seemingly scanning the universe looking for sothing.

So, what was causing them to return?

They found God.

Five years ago...

"What the hell is it?" Golden God whispered in horror.

Nier made a cross on his chest and clasped his hands together, letting out a small prayer. "I have no idea." He said after so ti. "I have no fucking idea what this thing is."

Space was vast and big. So big that it contained planets that made Golden God look like an ant. The living spaceship was taller than any skyscraper that could be found on Earth, and that was while he sat cross-legged. He was made to look like the monks of old and had thousands of golden arms all held out seeking a hug. In space, Golden God was able to grow. He could alter the space around him and stretch himself out, allowing himself to beco thousands of tis bigger.

He was now so big that he couldn't even see his master, who rested on one of his many fingers.

Nier stood at the tip of one of Golden God's fingers and kept his hands stuffed in the pockets of the suit he wore. The vacuum of space didn't bother him or hinder him in any way, nor did the many black holes that surrounded the area they were in. He had ordered Golden God to fly in this direction because the shard of a Ruler within him had been acting up, and it was only as he approached that he figured it out.

Millions of giant black holes that were all thousands of tis bigger than Golden God had sohow all ford together. Normally two black holes would collide together and devour one another, forming a bigger one, yet these ones weren't acting naturally. Gravity was so dense and twisted around them that the very laws of the universe had been thrown out.

The black holes were ford together into a shape. A throne. Trillions upon trillions of miles wide, it stretched out in all directions, the black holes forming the outline of it. And like all thrones, sothing resided within it...

Bigger than the throne, a body resided. A corpse, actually.

It was forged out of solid black tal, the very sa kind of tal that the Beast's suit was made out of, only this one was much bigger. The tal ford into a skeleton quadrillions of tis bigger than any other object in the universe. The bones were cracked and rusted and dented in, and frost covered every inch of it. The rib cage had been shattered open, and a few million suns filled it up. Its body was almost in the shape of a human, but its skull was elongated, showing thousands of sockets where eyes could be placed. The eyes were empty, just like how the flesh and organs of whatever this thing was were gone. Its legs dangled off of the throne, and its arms clutched at the armrest. Well... one arm did. The other limb was missing its hand.

The dead entity was so dense and strong that it would take the universe resetting dozens of tis before it finally faded away for good, which only made Nier more terrified since sothing had slain this thing.

This thing was sothing that shouldn't exist. It was older than a God, bigger than a Giant, more holy than an Angel, and scarier than a Devil.

Nier stepped off of Golden God's finger and allowed himself to float through space, going forward. They were at the very edge of the universe, an absolutely gigantic wall of ice stretching out for infinity, which was when Nier had noticed the dead creator. The many black holes that ford its throne were clipping into the wall of ice, and the frost clung to the construct.

The thing was so big he couldn't even see it all, even if he was hundreds of thousands of miles away. He was less than an ant to this thing. Less than even an atom. To whatever this thing was, he doubted anything in this universe actually mattered to it.

Hesitantly, Nier reached out and placed his hand on the tal bones of the entity. Cracks ran along where he touched, and it broke away and shattered at the place his hand left. It was shockingly brittle and remained undamaged only because it was away from everything else that existed.

Nier glanced down at his hand and frowned as he balled it into a fist a few tis.

"What is it, master?" Golden God asked.

"It doesn't exist."

"I'm afraid I don't understand, sir."

Nier opened his fist, and his frown grew. "I don't possess the embers of the Lord of the Land and Life, but my power still hasn't faded. I can scan DNA, even that of a corpse, but not this thing. No life clings to it, nor has there ever been life that clung to it."

"Sir?"

"It's not alive, and it wasn't alive before this," Nier explained. "Soone made this."

"But who?"

Nier stayed silent and felt his power flare up within him. It twitched and screeched and wanted out. The power he got was not from being a Lord or a Super, but from sothing else.

"The Shadow."

"Sir?"

Nier turned away and floated back over to Golden God's finger, landing on it softly. "The Shadow," he said again. "They say it ca from space and threatened Earth. The four Lords ca together, and they defeated it."

"Right?"

"Well, I think we just found its corpse."

"But I thought you said life never claid this creature?"

"It didn't. Such a thing is far older than that."

"Sir?"

"Let's return." Nier took a seat on the tip of Golden God's finger and brushed so of his blonde hair back. "I want to head back to Earth. I'd like to speak with Avalon again."

Present Day...

The surface of Mars...

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

That was all it saw. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and-

It had seen many things and gone to many places, but this was by far the most boring planet that it had settled on. It willed its body to break down, the trillions of molecules that made it up shimring and shifting as it flowed across the ground. The last ti it had been up, it took on the appearance of a great big figure made out of white light. This ti it decided to resemble a more watery form, replacing its light and fire with gas and liquid.

This form was chosen because its last form failed to kill the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos, despite the fact that the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos was in a weaker state. It greatly angered it since it hated the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos, and it hated the new host of the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos more than it hated the last host of the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos. It hoped that by focusing on a more loose form, with tendrils and water, it could conquer the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos's fire and finally put an end to the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos.

That was all it wanted to do.

It gently twisted itself across the surface of Mars and did its best to ignore how ugly the planet was. It hated the red dust. Almost as much as it hated the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos.

Slowly, it made its way through the many ruins that were scattered around Mars. They were remnants of an older species that had called this place ho. They had greatly annoyed it, though, so it tore them to bits when it arrived. It hated, hated, hated, hated the people that owned this planet since it didn't get a ho, and they did.

As it went through the ruins of what might have once been a large castle, its watery form stopped in front of the object it had co to see. Buried beneath the mountains of red dirt, tal flickered out. It had taken it a while, but it managed to gather enough molecules up once more to build a new ship and suit.

It had been more motivated than it had in a long ti to rebuild its stuff and fly back to the blue and green planet because it was unable to sleep. Normally after a defeat it would sleep for months, sotis even years, but ever since a ball of darkness fired from one of the Shadow's minions hit it, it had been unable to go to sleep again, which made it sad and cranky.

It decided it would kill the Shadow's minions and use their corpses for its next suit.

It wanted to rebuild its ship soon so it could return to the bright planet. It felt humiliated at the way it lost. It wanted a rematch with the pretty Lord of the Sun and Cosmos so it could prove that it was better than the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos. It had to beat the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos. Beating the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos was the only thing it cared about.

The Lord of the Sun and Cosmos was the only thing that had been able to beat it. It would finally be the strongest once it killed the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos. It would finally be happy.

The death of its family would finally be avenged.

It willed the molecules to bend and twist, ripping up the dust and ground of the red planet, pulling its new spaceship out. Like the last one, this ship was circular in shape and had a plasma beam that could wipe out all the puny blue planet creatures that got in its way. The reason it liked this ship design was because these had been the ships it found when it killed all the creatures on the red planet.

It jiggled a bit, getting used to its new form, and happily watched as its ship fully lifted out. Its new suit would be inside the ship. This one was tougher than the last. The molecules of the ship opened up, causing the massive structure to unfold and bend, like a soda can opening, and out popped its new suit.

This suit looked exactly like its last one did. It was always using a design based on the planet it attacked. This suit was black and lanky, ford in the shape of those people, and it made sure to give it the biggest breasts and penis it could, so as to assert its dominance over the puny species who took joy in how big their own ones were.

Its new watery form slid over, and it shoved itself into the eyehole of its insect-slaying suit and fused with it. Instantly it felt its form shift as it gained a pair of arms and legs and could see and hear now. Slowly it stood up and rumbled a bit, feeling the ground beneath it start to heat up, as lightning ca spilling out of its eyes. Rings of water ford around it, and plant life started to rapidly grow across the ground.

The Beast from Outer Space was ready to leave.

The Beast took a mont to look out across the universe, and with its enhanced senses, it was able to spot Earth. It zood in upon the world and gazed across the many cities. Finally, it settled on one.

Lillian.

That would be the next city it attacked. Lillian would be the next city to be wiped out.

The Beast lifted its hand and closed its fingers into a fist, causing the molecules to bend and twist around its ship, putting it back together. The ship's proper door opened up, and a ramp ca sliding out. Normally, it would simply hurl itself through space to reach its destination, but after being woken up and becoming cranky, it decided to keep taking its spaceship with it, since that infuriating race ticked it off.

The Beast got ready to step onto its ship, but then it suddenly froze. It felt sothing. A shift in ti-space. Sothing was coming. Coming to it—

A wave of brightly colored lights dropped from above. The sky shimred, and the lights smashed down onto the ground. There were hundreds of them, all thick and swirling together, creating a vast rainbow that stretched past the skies of Mars and into the infinite sea of space. The colors began to slowly die out and dim, and the Beast turned and cocked its head to the side.

It felt confused at what it saw.

"My, my, you weren't kidding." From the vast sea of colors, a figure stepped out. "It's an honest-to-Almighty, Writerulve. I thought the traitors wiped these guys out?"

"This is the last Writerulve, Stars."

"Ah, that makes sense. But what is it doing here, Ti?"

There were two of them. The Beast instantly noted that they held false appearances. They looked like the people did on the green and blue planet, but they weren't of the sa species. They weren't even like the fallen ones, who held fragnts of the Shadow. No. These people weren't using superpowers and instead were using their own natural abilities to alter themselves on a molecular level in order to better fit the role they now held.

The first one was a tall-looking human male. He had slick white hair and a pair of silver eyes that were filled with amusent. Next to him was the other one. She looked like a human female, and like the male, she had the sa style hair, only hers was longer. Her eyes were the sa as well. Both of them wore the exact sa outfit, that being a strange white tal suit that looked sort of like armor that the horned minion of the shadow would wear.

The Beast instantly knew what they were, and it felt its rage surge and boil.

Lordians.

"How do you do!" The male announced, taking a step forward. "It's been a real long ti since I've seen a Writerulve! My na is Stars! You can call the Lord of the Universe and Stars if you want." The man said, casually approaching the Beast. "Do you have a na—"

The Beast punched the Lordian's head clean off. The head was launched off and sent blasting into the ground, where it shattered. The body dropped to its knees, a wave of red spilling out, and it collapsed over dead.

The female pinched her nose and sighed. "Oh, I see. You're mad that the Lordians wiped out your people, aren't you?"

The Beast lifted its hand, and a wave of energy launched out, blowing through Mars as it lobbed an attack at the woman. The attack never reached her, though, as in an instant her body lit up. Her hair changed, becoming a bright red, and her eyes ignited with a fiery light. With godlike strength, she punched the energy beam and shattered it, wiping it out. The Beast went to create another beam, but before it could, the woman blasted forward and ramd her palm out into the creature.

"We don't want you getting in our way, so go ahead and go to ti-out, okay?" Her red hair glowed brighter and faster than the Beast could react; it suddenly found itself frozen in place. Its entire suit turned off and shut down, and it felt its power suddenly stop. It had the ability to stop ti and could move in stopped ti, but this was different. There was nothing. Everything around it simply ceased to be, and there was no universe in which it was able to move. It had instantly been rendered helpless. The woman pulled her hand away, and the red in her hair and eyes died out. "Alright." She called out. "It's good now."

From above, another wave of colorful light ca crashing down. It shimred out like a rainbow bridge, and this ti, dozens of other people stepped out. All had silver hair, silver eyes, and white armor. So were n, and so were won. All stood ready, before one in particular, though. He stood taller than any other and had a heavy beard that dropped down his chin. His arms were clasped behind his back as he stepped out of the bridge, and he humd, taking in the sight of the ruined surface of Mars.

"So, this is the planet the traitors call ho?"

"No, sir." The woman who had stopped the Beast shook her head. "We ca here by mistake because we detected a life signature similar to ours. It turns out it was nothing but trash, though." She elbowed the frozen Beast.

The old man quietly eyed the Beast up. "Is that a Writerulve?"

"Yes, sir?"

The older man looked the Beast's tal suit up and down. "Is this what humans look like?" He reached up and poked at his cheek. "We took on this form because that's how the humans looked, correct? Is this what they really look like? Why's the thing between its legs so big?"

"I believe it just took on this appearance to mock them, not to blend in, sir. Your own is rather large for human males, especially ones of the age you appear to be."

"I see. And what of Stars?" The old man asked, looking over at the corpse.

"Dead." The lady spoke, bowing her head. "This Writerulve is extrely strong. It can wipe us out in one attack if we are not in our Battle Mode. I also don't think we could beat it, so I placed it into a mini realm that doesn't exist in order to halt it."

"Writerulves were always tricky to deal with, constantly mimicking the fabric of the universe." The old man sighed. "Only the traitors were strong enough to wipe them out. Speaking of which, if this isn't the planet, where is it?"

"It's called Earth, and it's a little further down the spaceway, sir." The woman replied. "We'll be heading there next."

The old man nodded his head and felt his power flare up. His hair and eyes shifted, both becoming a deep crimson red, just like Ruby Admirals always used to do. He wasn't the only one either. All the other silver-haired people transford, each gaining the sa red hair and eyes.

"We're close to the traitors." The old man declared. "At last, we Lordians will have our revenge for what they did to the Almighty." He folded his arms and let out a huff. "Is the Brightest Star still amongst them?"

"Yes, sir." The girl nodded.

"Good. I'll deal with my child personally. Just as a father should." The man held his hand out, and the rainbow bridge began to swarm into existence once more. "Lordians. In the year of our creator, we exist. Let us honor he who no longer walks among us. It's ti we put an end to the four Lords of Earth!"

In a flash, the rainbow bridge faded away, taking all the Lordians with it. The Beast remained frozen in place, silently staring at the spot where they had all been.

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

Red dust.

That was all it saw. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and-

It let out a scream and shattered its way out of the suit. The suit that was made to mock those wretched people was stuck, but not it. Its new liquid body ripped its way out of the eye sockets, and it dropped to the ground and began to rapidly pull itself toward the ship.

The only one who would slay the Lord of the Sun and Cosmos was it. It alone would be the one to kill it.
