Chapter 113: Chapter 112: Solving Qiao Zhicheng
The two robbers, deprived of their guns, didn’t bother to pick up the firearms that were kicked away but instead directly drew the daggers they carried and lunged at ng Yao!
In an instant, ng Yao faced two enemies alone and tangled with the two bandits.
On this side, the remaining Qiao Zhicheng and the wild wolf saw Qin Tian firing to help ng Yao. They kept shooting to prevent Qin Tian from helping, forcing him to take cover behind a tree.
"Forget about that woman, kill this kid first!"
Qiao Zhicheng, aware of the other’s skills, cautioned the wild wolf.
The two changed their firearms and, fully focused, slowly advanced toward the tree where Qin Tian was hiding.
As they approached, they fired continuously, not allowing Qin Tian any chance to fight back.
Qin Tian hid behind the tree, holding a pistol in his hand, and listened with his eyes closed.
He had encountered such monts often, so he wasn’t nervous.
At this mont, Qin Tian used his sensitive Sensing Power to predict the positions of the wild wolf and Qiao Zhicheng as they approached.
Next, he would have to kill both Qiao Zhicheng and his companion in the mont he peeked out, or else he would be the one facing danger!
The wild wolf and Qiao Zhicheng ceased firing, but their guns were still pointed at the tree Qin Tian was hiding behind, which had been riddled with bullets from their shooting.
If Qin Tian dared to expose any part of his body, he would certainly die!
In the woods, apart from the sound of ng Yao fighting the two thieves in the distance, all was quiet.
Qin Tian could hear the crisp sound of Qiao Zhicheng and his companion stepping on the branches, and he gripped his pistol, ready to make a move.
They got closer and closer.
Qiao Zhicheng and his companion were only five ters away from Qin Tian.
Four ters... three ters...
Bang!
Just then, Qin Tian suddenly punched the tree behind him!
The tree trembled, and the yellow leaves fell like rain.
Da da da!
This sudden scene made Qiao Zhicheng and his companion tense up and they imdiately opened fire.
Whoosh whoosh!
And just in the interval when the gunfire paused, Qin Tian employed the Wave Striding Technique to dash out from behind the tree!
His leap covered four to five ters, far exceeding Qiao Zhicheng and his companion’s expectations!
As Qiao Zhicheng and the wild wolf swung their guns around, not far away, Qin Tian’s gunshots had already rung out—
Bang!
Bang!
Two gunshots.
Qiao Zhicheng and the wild wolf grunted, paused, and then fell to the ground.
Three ters away, Qin Tian stood amongst the trees, holding his pistol, his expression calm.
"Tsk tsk, one shot was off by a centiter, seems I need to practice my Spear Skills more," he said.
He holstered his pistol and shook his head.
The two shots he had fired had both hit Qiao Zhicheng and the wild wolf between the eyebrows, only that the one that hit the wild wolf was off by about a centiter. To most people, this would seem like expert marksmanship, but Qin Tian was already accustod to it.
"Hey, co over and help!"
As Qin Tian was resolving the fight, ng Yao yelled from a distance.
There, ng Yao and the two bandits were still entangled in a back-and-forth lee, all using daggers, and it was unclear where their guns had been kicked to.
At this mont, ng Yao, covered in mud on her denim clothes, had her hair sowhat disheveled and was breathing heavily, looking very exhausted.
The two bandits were also panting, clearly having underestimated this female police officer.
Bang! Bang!
Without even looking, Qin Tian fired two shots, and two bandits imdiately fell dead.
Seeing that the two bandits were dead, ng Yao finally let out a breath, like a deflated balloon, gasping for air as she sat on the ground, utterly exhausted.
"Are you okay?" Qin Tian walked over and asked.
Today, he had witnessed ng Yao’s skills, which were pretty good. She had managed to fight two bandits without falling short.
It seed that she really had so ability and was not just a pretty face without substance.
"I’m okay," ng Yao nodded.
"Is Qiao Zhicheng dead?" she asked.
"Dead. They’re all dead," Qin Tian leaned against a tree.
Upon hearing this, ng Yao tried to stand up, but imdiately sat down again.
"Hiss—" she grimaced, revealing her white teeth.
"What’s wrong with your foot?" Qin Tian asked.
Only then did ng Yao feel intense pain in her right leg; she must have fractured it during the intense fight with the two bandits.
"My ankle is hurting; it might be fractured."
ng Yao frowned, glanced at Qin Tian, picked up her cellphone that had fallen to the ground during the fight, and handed it to Qin Tian, saying, "Can you take a picture for ?"
"What? Just finished a fight and you want a selfie as a souvenir?"
Qin Tian was stunned, thinking to himself, what was this girl thinking? With dead bodies all around, and she wanted to take cute photos?
"What are you thinking about!" ng Yao said indignantly, "I’m not asking you to take photos of , I need you to take photos of the scene for evidence. Also, rember to mark the location, I’ll need to bring people here later."
"Taking photos is fine, but location... there is no network, how do I mark it? We can’t even make a call right now," he replied.
Deep in the forest, there was no signal at all.
Qin Tian took the cellphone and took so photos of the scene for ng Yao. After finishing, he walked back, looking at ng Yao’s cellphone screen and laughing as he walked, "Yo, this selfie of yours at the beach is quite sothing. Sexy in a bikini, huh?"
"Asshole! Give
the phone, don’t look!"
Hearing Qin Tian’s words, ng Yao reacted imdiately, realizing Qin Tian was flipping through her photo album!
In her panic, ng Yao tried to rush towards Qin Tian, but just as she stood up, the pain from her fracture made her sit back down.
"Give
the phone! Have you no morals, snooping through my personal phone!" ng Yao shouted angrily.
"I was just looking through your photos, what’s the big deal?"
Walking over, Qin Tian returned the phone to her, laughing, "I think the photo of you in the white shirt looks the best. Hah, I didn’t expect you used a beautifying cara. I thought as a police officer you wouldn’t care... oh sorry, I an about such things."
ng Yao snatched her phone back, glaring at Qin Tian, saying, "Shaless! You’re the one who’s shaless!"
Ignoring her, Qin Tian said, "Seriously though, you look quite decent, why use a beautifying cara?"
"None of your business!"
"Alright, alright, I’ll leave you alone. The bandits are dealt with, I’m out of here. Bye!"
Hearing ng Yao’s words, Qin Tian flashed her a smile and turned to leave.
"Qin Tian, you..."
Seeing Qin Tian turn to leave, ng Yao paused, trying to stand, but she found it difficult to walk.
"Are you even human, leaving
here like this?" ng Yao pouted, furious.
"I’m going back first, you can take a cab," Qin Tian called over his shoulder without turning back.
"A cab?"
ng Yao paused, looking at the trees of the Primordial Forest around her, biting her silver teeth in frustration.
"What cab in the Primordial Forest, you jerk! Stop! Stop!"
Seeing Qin Tian leaving, ng Yao was furious, dragging her injured right leg, hopping and trying to catch up with him.
