Ye Shaohua’s mother watched her converse with the Ye Family patriarch and wanted to speak a few words with Shaohua as well.

However, she had been too close to Xue Jinxin these days, and with the drastic change in Shaohua’s temperant, she felt completely estranged from Shaohua and didn’t know what to say, so she just sat there, unmoving.

Waiting for Xue Jinxin to co over.

anwhile, sitting beside her, Ye Jinnian didn’t even look at Shaohua but waited anxiously for Jinxin to return.

It didn’t take long before she received a ssage from Jinxin.

She stood up with a look of surprise and hurried out to et Jinxin, with Ye Jinnian following closely behind her.

Like Shaohua, Jinnian didn’t care much about the Ye Family’s affairs. He greatly admired the Tarot Master, Jinxin, because to the passionate young n, tarot seed very cool.

All three of them entered together, with Jinxin’s face once again bearing a faint smile.

Ye Shaohua’s mother was visibly delighted, while Jinnian’s face was filled with admiration.

"Patriarch, Jinxin is back. Do you know where she went?" knowing that the patriarch and Shaohua’s father were not very fond of Jinxin, Ye Shaohua’s mother imdiately brought Jinxin to the patriarch.

She naturally saw Shaohua standing by the patriarch, but her heart was no longer with Shaohua, and she was fully devoted to Jinxin, hoping that today’s event could enable Jinxin to change her surna.

The child had lived a life full of hardships in the first half, and she wanted to make her second half much better.

"She went to the Tarot Association, a four-star Tarot Master," she said.

When Jinxin saw the surprised looks cast by Ye An and Shaohua’s uncles, she finally smiled.

The Ye Family’s uncles felt even more that Shaohua’s father was fortunate, having a biological daughter who is a Tarot Master and an adopted daughter who is the leading figure of the Ye Family. How could anyone be so lucky?

Ye Shaohua’s mother thought that after her announcent, the patriarch and Shaohua’s father would be utterly astonished.

Yet, to her surprise, after she had spoken, Shaohua’s father and the rest showed hardly any reaction.

"Patriarch?" Shaohua’s mother felt sothing was odd. "Jinxin is the first Tarot Master in the family. Though a four-star is just the beginning, it is still quite rare for our kind of family. Shouldn’t we change her surna..."

"Do you want to change back to ’Ye’?" The patriarch did not answer but looked directly at Jinxin.

Jinxin had her doubts, but she did not deny it was her original intention. She nodded without hesitation.

"Alright, I will announce it externally tomorrow then," the patriarch said indifferently with a nod.

Ye Shaohua’s mother was sowhat incredulous. "Just like that? For a four-star master, shouldn’t we host a banquet to make the announcent?"

Upon hearing her words, the patriarch glanced at Jinxin, who still had pride on her face, and he internally shook his head. "A four-star master is neither scarce nor abundant in Imperial City. There’s no need to host a banquet and invite ridicule."

Noticing how most of the attention in the hall had shifted towards Jinxin, the patriarch added another detail, "By the way, I forgot to tell you that Shaohua has also just returned from the Association. She’s now the vice president of the Flower Country Tarot Association and the sole eight-star Tarot Master in Flower Country. There should be people coming to visit the Ye Family about this soon enough—it’s not sothing that can be kept secret. I’m informing you now so that you can prepare."

In the Hall, the younger generation, like Ye An and other young n who, like Jinnian, found the profession of tarot very cool, had been talking with Jinxin all this ti.

They asked her various questions, but when they heard the patriarch’s words, everyone fell silent for a mont before exploding with reactions.

Jinnian looked at Shaohua in disbelief.

Ye Shaohua’s mother raised her head in confusion.
