I was just sitting down in the side office as Kunou and Yasaka had their... No doubt, it was a riveting conversation but either way, I held my face in my hands. Mami didn't help matters as she teased .
"So... You only spent a week with the little kitsune, how did you twist her up around your finger that quickly?"
To which I gave the smiling blonde a half-hearted glare as I retorted tiredly. "I saved her life, provided for her, and treated her kindly... Now I got a 'daughter' thats like five or six years younger than ."
I could only shake my head at how weird my life had gotten, but before I could react my phone went off with Sona's ringtone.
'Uh oh. She probably heard about the battles in Kyoto.' I thought wryly and I was right as the mont I opened up my phone and answered the call she asked bluntly. "Are you alright Jake?"
I smiled hearing the honest concern in her voice and I nodded even though she couldn't see it. And realizing that I answered swiftly. "Yeah, I am alright Sona, I had to deal with so assassins and get involved a bit. But and Mami are perfectly fine."
There was a mont of silence on the line before Sona spoke with her voice as dry as the fucking Sahara Desert. "Jake, I saw you on DevilTube dive-bombing an Ultimate Class being. The whole damned world has already or will be seeing my Contracted Magician who is a pure human carving through an Ultimate Class Turtle's defenses like they weren't even there."
My lips twitched at that reminder and I jokingly responded. "Wow just imagine how proud your parents will be... Uhm, imagine how jealous Rias is and how she will push you to have sign a contract with her!"
Once again there was a mont of silence as Sona digested my words. And as she spoke I could tell my appeal to her pride and desire to get one up on Rias was working as she huffed in an almost tsundere way as she retorted. "Hmph, just be careful... And co back ho whenever you get paid for all your trouble!"
And then a loud crackle rang out as Sona hung up on making chuckle at the thought of the petite beauty blushing as she tossed her phone onto her work desk in the student council room.
Taking a breath I brushed a hand down my face as I heard Mami herself giggle at the phone call and she patted my knee comfortingly as she said gently. "It will be fine Jake, Kunou seems like a nice young lady even if she obviously has so... Daddy issues."
But before I could respond to Mami's words a series of knocks rang out on the sealed door I had put so glowing obvious wards on to give us so privacy and I got rid of the wards as the door slid open and my eyes landed on Yasaka's form standing at the doorway.
and Mami both stood up to greet the 'Queen' or ruler of the Youkai and she in turn strode into the room and taking in our forms she gave Mami a look and said calmly. "Miss, could you allow and Jake a mont of privacy? I need to understand so things from his point of view."
And Mami being the utter sweetheart she was. And knowing I was perfectly capable of teleporting away should there be issues and in which she would know with our soul bond to leave as well via teleportation. She demurely nodded... Leaving to my doom with the kitsune milf!
After Mami calmly left the room with her sending an emotional ssage via our soul bond that felt like her telling to 'Go get her!' I gave a wry smile as Yasaka walked in front of , and with our bodies only separated by an inch of air separating her massive breasts from hitting my chest the nine-tailed kitsune stared in the eye.
"What do I... No what am I going to do with you?" Yasaka asked bluntly making blink as I for a second was unsure what exactly she ant before I realized she ant about Kunou.
And I could only shrug as I said with a wry smile. "I could take her on weekends?"
Yasaka'a face twitched at alluding that we were a divorced couple going over Kunou's custody visitation rights but she visibly held back a snort of amusent at the thought before she all but glared at .
But there was no heat in the glare. She was just... Trying to find out where to put in which hole in the system of her life to put into as she was a single mother for Kunou all their lives.
"Normally a mother has to fight their child to get them to accept a stepfather." Yasaka mused and I chuckled in turn at that with the kitsune continuing as her tails began slowly and elegantly twisting in the air like a hypnotic dance.
"Do you know what excuse Kunou gave for her to be allowed to call you, a human not even a decade older than herself and barely out your own teen years, father?" She asked curiously and I raised an eyebrow as she sidled ever so closer even though I continued to make eye contact with her and didn't look down towards the treasures below.
I thought about her words for a long mont and then I answered honestly. "My strength? The fact that I saved her life?"
And I saw dark amusent in her eyes, cunning cruelty found only in predators who found prey they could play with without consequences... The look was hot honestly as she laid a hand on my face ever so gently making still at the unexpected contact as she responded slowly in a husky voice.
"No, you silly man... She said and I quote. 'They will think he is so lucky to be dating you momma." I felt her breasts hit my chest as she closed in and I actually stiffened as I felt the raw monstrous life force of her senjutsu cover my form as she whispered. "Did you save my daughter to gain my attention, young man?"
I could tell she was using her senjutsu to see if I would lie... So I had nothing to fear as I answered with complete honesty. "No, I saved her because it was the right thing to do. Putting you in my debt didn't occur to till long after I brought her back to life."
More along the lines of I was terrified of Yasaka going fucking insane and killing , Mami and god knows how many others should she not be able to cope with losing her daughter. That was what, I was thinking about more than any life debt of sorts.
Her life force covering my form stilled as though her heartbeat stilled at my words, and then it slowly receded from my form as Yasaka closed her eyes and I knowing she was in deep thought sat down on the couch Mami and I previously sitting in.
So I wasn't getting pushed backward by Yasaka's massive milkers as she attempted to find lies or deceit in my eyes and body language.
And as I looked now upwards to Yasaka's face as she seemingly absorbed all her thoughts and ca to... So kind of ntal conclusion, she looked down at and with a calm expression she spoke. "I see... Then I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done Jake. Now here take this please."
My lips twitched as she reached into her open kimono's top and I saw even more of that expansive soft flesh as she reached under a breast and I blinked as she took out of all things a large old style gleaming dark bronze key. "Co to the back of the palace tonight, please. I wish to have words of the future and to make you dinner in a couple hours."
As I took the key out of mostly out of obligation with how she offered it to . She smiled and then without a word strode off with one of her tails ever so gently swiping across my face with the edge of the soft fur making my eyes close instinctively with her leaving before I could respond verbally with the door clicking closed as she left.
