I exhaled in relief as the two goobers so absorbed in their antics that Kunou's face of disgust and understanding was disguised by her passive facial expression. But regardless I coughed and as Aqua and Kazuma were about to skip away to finish off Beldia I said. "Lady Aqua, in fulfilling our deal I would like to speak about the second half. In which I get to watch you perform your magic along with you explaining it."
Aqua and Kazuma shared a look before Kazuma leaned in and with a growl he demanded. "Huh, what do you want? Is your super fancy eyes so kind of Sharingan rip-off where you can copy spells or sothing by just seeing them?"
I smiled and then said frankly. "No. But even if it was, that isn't your business Kasuma Satou."
I looked past the twitching face of the reincarnated teenager to Aqua who was giving a weird look and then idly tossed Beldia's helt-covered head in the air before saying arrogantly. "Haha alright! If you think you can learn anything from this great goddesses skills then I won't even charge you for the honor of watching work!"
'Sasuga Aqua-Sama... You turned down killing another demon general for you. Just to show off how aweso you are.' I thought blankly as Kunou and I followed Kazuma and Aqua quickly out of the city.
"So little Ojou-Chan, why are you with... This guy?" Kazuma asked Kunou and she looked up to and I shrugged aning she could answer however she wanted.
So Kunou with all the gravitas of her status as the princess of the Youkai said formally. "Jake is my guardian and after I... Died, he brought from Earth to this world to Aqua apparently."
Kazuma whirled around on and as his eyes widened I said flatly. "Nope, I am not taking you back. I have a week-long cool down before interdinsional travel and I don't want to waste a week on your particular Earth that has gods like Aqua watching it."
I felt for Kazuma honestly but Aqua cut in as she said frankly. "Eh even if you could go back to your own Earth. Kazuma divine lightning would strike you and kill you instantly! As you already died on that world and reincarnated so you can't go back."
Kunou's face pinched at Kasuma's face of despair but either way, I coughed as I said frankly. "So Lady Aqua, does your resurrection spell take divinity to cast?" I asked and without any sha, she happily nodded.
"Yup! As the goddess Aqua, the goddess of water and life I can bring people back to life easily so long as I have one of their hairs or even a scrap of the clothes they were wearing before death! But lesser archpriests can only bring soone back to life once as the person who gets brought back to life has their soul get a bit mangled from having it torn from the afterlife." Aqua finished dully with a shrug that made my face twitch.
Do you have any idea how powerful a resurrection on-demand spell was? Fucking extrely powerful in the right hands obviously. Even in just the world of DXD, I could use it to great effect. To say nothing of my ability to use it in other worlds to have their legends teach their skills and magic in return for a new chance at life.
And Aqua made it sound like if the person was raised by another mortal, that the resurrection was complete garbage!
So I just kept a placid face as I said frankly. "Either way, I wish for you to show your resurrection spell and a couple of healing spells."
At my question, Aqua made a face but then I had an idea... "Actually Lady Aqua, I have a major favor to ask you."
"What?! I don't have any money to loan you!" She snapped at defensively making my lips twitch before I took a breath and said with a put-upon expression of sadness.
"Lady Aqua in my reincarnation I was forced to sign a terrible contract with a devil clan of the Sitri line... I ask that you bless so that when I go back ho I may use your holy waters to wash away the devils that bound my soul in chains!"
Aqua stopped on a di at my words and our walk into the city's countryside with Beldia's head making muffled noises was silenced as Aqua turned around and looked at with a raised eyebrow.
"You want my blessing to kill devils? Hmm, I am not that flat-chested bitch Eris so I don't hate devils as much... But Devils do work with undead along with the demon king." She mused while looking pensive before shrugging and smiling carelessly.
"Alright! I am not supposed to be a blessing mortal permanently but those bastards kicked from heaven so they have no right to tell what to do. Plus I can use this blessing to get one over on Eris to make owe her a favor haha!" Aqua laughed loudly with her form glowing with a rainbow effect of power and the ground filling with glowing water as she expanded her divine power in a domain around her.
"Jake Bariss, I the Goddess of Water and Life bless you in my na wash away the unclean with the tides of my fury!" She announced and I felt my Key of Solomon almost giving a 'What the fuck are you doing dude?' Emote in my soul as it absorbed the divine blessing/curse into my soul that would allow to conjure up Aqua's Holy Water at will.
And on the other side of things... Kazuma was pissed obviously as he shouted out. "Aqua! What the fuck is that? Why didn't you give cheat magic or sothing as well!"
With zero hesitation Aqua whirled on Kazuma who leaned back with his face scrunching up Aqua scread into his face as she jerked him back and forth by his jacket. "You never even prayed or gave respect you useless NEET! Not to ntion the fact that you are a lolicon who touches himself to the worst kind of hentai, I can't be-"
I cut Aqua off as I frowned and pushed them apart. "Aqua," I said seriously as I stood in front of Kazuma to protect him from the disgusted look of Kunou and Aqua. "You don't bring up a man's porn history... That's just not done."
