Chapter 94 – Brainless (没脑子)
Gan Jinchen had never thought that he would one day tell Jing Yunzhao to take notice of her reputation and then beco the main character of the rumors the very next day.
Even though he didn’t like being too close (not physically but socially) with girls, he was at an age where he was self-conscious and insecure. He cared about the opinions of the opposite sex to so extent. But now, the girls in the class looked at him as if he was a plague.
“Gan Jinchen, I didn’t think you were this kind of person! I even liked you before!” In between classes, a girl with red eyes ca to Gan Jinchen and left after saying that, leaving Gan Jinchen dumbstruck.
Most young girls were naive, innocent. There weren’t a lot of girls that would sche like Qiao Hongye. Because of Gan Jinchen, a lot of girls now felt their innocent, beautiful one-sided romance was dirtied by a disgusting layer of disgusting ink.
Gan Jinchen cried with no tears. The gossip surrounding him increased, almost swallowing him.
If a guy like him can’t even handle those chattering, a girl like Jing Yunzhao handling it would be out of the question.
After enduring it for one class session, Gan Jinchen couldn’t keep his calm anymore and rushed straight towards Jing Yunzhao’s classroom. While standing at the classroom entrance, he saw Jing Yunzhao alone with her head down, silently studying. It made him sowhat confused.

Jing Yunzhao’s seat was slightly towards the middle of the classroom. People around were pointing at her, saying nasty things about her. However, Jing Yunzhao was still writing on her paper, so serious and focused that it gave Gan Jinchen an indescribable feeling.
“Yunzhao, that guy ca,” Xiao Haiqing nudged Jing Yunzhao.
Xiao Haiqing didn’t believe in the rumors. Even though Gan Jinchen was good-looking and had a good family background, he was too soft, naive. How could Jing Yunzhao fall for him?
And just because of so rumors, he couldn’t sit still. Couldn’t he just save it for later? Appearing in front of their classroom entrance would obviously add more sparks to the rumors, how brainless.
Jing Yunzhao raised her head and frowned.
She had too many rumors in her past life. The rumor this ti wasn’t the worst one, so she was rather calm.
She walked towards him, her eyes unwavering, and said, “You ca because of the rumors, right? Sorry, they’re supposed to be against but you got dragged into it too.”
Gan Jinchen could never have imagined these were the first words to co from Jing Yunzhao.
He didn’t know a lot of girls. The only girl he was familiar with was his cousin, Su Chu. He knew for sure that if sothing like this were to happen to her cousin, she would cry her eyes out and bla the rumormongers. She might even take days o? or even change schools because of fear and sadness.
Jing Yunzhao’s attitude obviously wasn’t like a girl’s.
Does she have a heart? Does she have no emotions?
“What is up with you? Why is there soone attacking you so harshly behind your back?” Gan Jinchen was very angry.
He wasn’t blaming Jing Yunzhao. He just thought that the person behind all this was really evil. Couldn’t Jing Yunzhao be a little more cautious?
Jing Yunzhao pressed her lips flat together and gave it a thought, “I’ll take care of this, but it’ll probably take so ti. But don’t worry, I promise it won’t a?ect your reputation too much.”
