267- Saving Lives (救人)
“Mom, this is the miracle doctor introduced by Old Man Xu...” the woman looked at the old lady with so difficulty and said.
The old lady looked to be around 70-80 years old; she had a very skinny body, with age spots all over her skin; she was skinny to the point that one can see her skeletal structure with the naked eye.

The corners of Jing Yun Zhao twitched when she heard the old lady. After all, she was always doubted by others, but now that there was soone easily calling her a miracle doctor, it was a little uncomfortable.
The woman let out a sigh and said, “ Mom, Li er’s condition is already... adding on to the fact that this miracle doctor is so young, and Old Man Xu also refuses to co...”
“SHUT UP!” the old lady who previously had a pleading face suddenly turned cold in the next second and said, “Old Man Xu is a respectable person and would never lie; since this doctor was introduced by Old Man Xu, she obviously would be the real deal. The kindness of the patient’s family was beyond Jing Yun Zhao’s expectations, but the more she thought about it, she realized that the world was filled with normal people with common sense, and people like Qin Zhi Xue were a rarity.
Jing Yun Zhao nodded her head and went to the bed to check the boy’s condition. After a glance, she was shocked.

“Does he suffer from epilepsy?” Jing Yun Zhao asked as she noticed sothing else other than the heart failure the patient was suffering from.
Hearing Jing Yun Zhao’s comnt, the old lady’s eyes lit up as she eagerly replied, “You’re correct, my grandson suffered from a brain injury when he was born. As a result, he would fall ill every year ever since he was 1 years old, and if it was serious he would suffer from it multiple tis a day. We scoured throughout the hospitals in Ning City, both big and small for treatnt to no avail, and a few days ago we received news about a new drug that could help in my grandson’s recovery hence why my son bought so for my grandson. However, who knew that the child would start suffering after ingesting the dicine, and he had to be brought to the hospital, yet it was still useless. The old lady was very ticulous in her explanation, for fear that a single missed detail would affect her grandson’s condition.
When the lady finished, she gave Jing Yun Zhao the dicine box that her son bought. However Jing Yun Zhao couldn’t understand as the box was written with dical terms from the West.
“The hospital also said that the toxicity content of this dicine was high but we didn’t take them seriously as we’ve bought lots of different types of dicine before...” the woman at the side also added on.
Jing Yun Zhao nodded her head, sure the dicine can cure the patient’s epilepsy, however the patient’s body couldn’t handle the dicines side-effects which caused his heart failure, leaving his life on a thread.
After thinking for a mont, she thought about a thod that could cure the boy. However there was one problem, the thod also also has toxicity to a certain extent.
The thod was to use aconite1 to save the patient. However the amount of aconite to be used could not be within the recomnded amount, yet if they were to use too much, it would easily poison the patient, hence the utmost care had to be given when using this thod.
