Chapter 185 – Seeking Justice (讨个公道) (oh god…it’s not what you guys think, kinda)
Gan Song Bai supported himself with the help of the table, his old bones swaying lightly. The director sighed, silently thinking that Gan Song Bai didn’t know how to appreciate his kindness.
This director was surnad Liu and was the grandson of the hospital’s Executive Director. ‘Cough cough’ “I’m just bringing up an example, Director don’t be angry…” Qin Zhi Xue gave an apologetic smile and continued, “I’m not asking for much either; I just want him to apologize to in front of everyone and admit that he’s lacking in dical ethics. “Just like that?” Director Liu, who was expecting Qin Zhi Xue to demand monetary compensation, was shocked. (T/N: this rude person has total disregard for cause and effect of the reputation of any dical practitioner. Readers, don’t be like him. You can diss the rep of any place and people might still go there, but not doctors when it cos to ppls health. However, he couldn’t deny that this was the best solution. It was just an apology, nothing much.
Such a large hospital like theirs also had a few instances of making mistakes during surgery. Usually, the patient’s family would start creating trouble and a smaller hospital would have to make a press conference to protect themselves. If it beca so bad that they couldn’t even hold a proper discussion, they would let the doctor show themselves to make an apology or just directly fire the doctor and things would be solved.
In any case, apologising and losing a little bit of face would always be better than spending money. If a few words could resolve the situation, why lose sothing else?
“Director Liu! What do you an by ‘Just like that’?! Don’t tell you don’t find his demands outrageous?!” Gan Song Bai was completely unable to believe such words had been uttered from Director Liu’s mouth.
