Chapter 114 – Pretending to be Sick (装病)
Upon hearing Qiao Hongye’s words, Jing Yunzhao couldn’t help but reveal a subtle sneer.
“The hawk that played all day was pecked in the eyes by a common sparrow. You’re blaming ?” Jing Yunzhao tossed out those words before leaving.
Qiao Hongye was always scheming against others, and she couldn’t say she hadn’t been looking for trouble. However, even at this ti, she didn’t forget to continue acting innocent and pure. This level of “perseverance” was really admirable.
Although there were quite a few students around, Jing Yunzhao’s retort was undoubtedly confirming everything Qiao Hongye had done before. At this point, Qiao Hongye’s chagrin and tears were incapable of moving anybody. As a matter of fact, they were even a bit scared of this girl who seed to always be putting up an act.
Qiao Hongye inwardly cursed at Jing Yunzhao before heading to the field with her head lowered.
The gym teachers of Class 1 and Class 2 were like quarrelso lovers. They had a good relationship but liked to compete with each other, so every week, they would toss the students about.
It was no exception this ti. When the bell rang, the two teachers had their respective students do a few warm-up exercises before directing sending them off to run five laps around the field.
Jing Yunzhao used to be thin and weak, so she had been unable to persist long in gym class. Even the teacher couldn’t do anything about it.
However, recently Jing Yunzhao was different from before. She could keep up with the rest of the class and afterwards, still be brimming with energy. It made Class 1’s teacher really proud.
It must be ntioned that Jing Yunzhao of Class 1 and Qiao Hongye of Class 2 were both top students, but they were also the burdens in gym class. The forr couldn’t last long, and the latter always reported either a stomachache or a headache.
Qiao Hongye hated gym class the most, so she would feel sick every ti. The other students would imdiately rush to pander her, and the teacher would be helpless. Therefore, often tis when the rest of the students were tired to death, Qiao Hongye would be gently watching them from the sidelines.
Compared to the girls who would be drenched in sweat after exercising, Qiao Hongye’s freshness would naturally be more appealing.
“Teacher, I...” She opened her mouth to say the usual.
“Enough, go sit over there,” the gym teacher interrupted with a dismissing wave of his hand. In truth, he didn’t like such a weak girl, but her grades were good. Whenever he and the class teacher talked about this, the class teacher would prohibit him from doing anything, so what could he do? He could only turn a blind eye.
Hearing Class 2’s teacher say that, Class 1’s female teacher grinned and asked deliberately, “Jing Yunzhao, is your body still okay?”
Both were good students, and both had a fragile body, but Jing Yunzhao could keep up with her class while Qiao Hongye could not!
“Yes.” Jing Yunzhao nodded. The female teacher threw a smug glance at Class 2’s male teacher and adding, “In that case, Jing Yunzhao, let’s have you lead the class!”
Now, Class 2 was dissatisfied. How co Jing Yunzhao could run, but their Qiao Hongye couldn’t? Qiao Hongye looked fatter and healthier than Jing Yunzhao, too. Every ti the forr would fake illness, couldn’t she co up with sothing new?
“Teacher, I refuse to accept this!” Qiao Hongye’s deskmate was the first to speak up. “Qiao Hongye was fine this afternoon, so how co she can fake illness and just sit aside?”
