"I will send help as soon as possible, hang in there." Solisa told him before she disconnected the comms. Steel nodded and focused on the battle in front of him. The laser fire was doing nothing to those shields. He focused and watched for a weakness.

The one with the hamr started giving out orders. The Ola approached the shields and began pointing the tips of their weapons out of it. It seems they would create an opening for him to exploit. But he would have to fire a precise shot. Shooting down one of their barrels.

The hamr Tacole pointed at the rcenary and Oculus Nine commanders and seed to give another order. Then the two Tacoles in the back stepped forward and aid through the shield. There were his targets.

He aid at the one on his left side and fired. The single shot traveled down the enemy barrel, he watched as the plasma based weapon exploded, injuring its wielder. The plasma sent a piece of shrapnel to the nearby Tacole Shield bearer going through whatever was powering the shield causing it to fall. While the Ola nearby were killed or fatally injured.

The hamr Tacole gave another order before it began moving forward fiddling with a device as it moved. Then as the rcenaries and police aid at the hamr Tacole he swung his hamr forward and Steel got to see sothing unbelievable.

The lasers froze in the air around the hamr. It was so type of area control. But the area was based around the hamr. It also had a range because he saw a few slip past the edge of control and hit enemies in the back. Steel aid and fired, watching his bullet freeze in the air. Then all of the frozen bolts of lasers and his bullet flew into the wall when he waved his hamr. So no shooting near the hamr, got it. The others scread and yelled in shock.

The hamr wielding Tacole walked up to one of the people with a riot shield and slamd his hamr into him. Steel aid and fired at the Tacole's helt but his bullet just bounced off. Steel then flinched as he saw the Tacole look directly at him for a mont before turning his attention to the humans in front of him.

Grunting in annoyance the Tacole continued smashing humans with his hamr like they were nothing. He went to hit a large group when one of the Oculus Nine, the commander, stepped forward. With a riot shield in one hand and a stun baton in the other.

He managed to get the Tacole off balance before hitting him with the stun baton. Steel watched in surprise as the enemy's shield dropped. He quickly aid and fired. The bullet bouncing off the helt but leaving a mark. The shield went back up.

"Shit," He cursed in surprise, "that caught

off guard."

"Bring your best against

humans! I wish for glory if nothing else!" The Tacole's yell was translated from a device that was on his hip. It seems like he always planned to get close enough to talk while fighting the humans. A mont later the Tacole managed to disarm and then send the Oculus Nine commander flying.

These rcenaries and police are no match for him. He glanced at the AI Core confirming that it had almost completed the process. He was not needed here. He saw the Tacole going to hit another with the but of his hamr.

Steel leaped over the central console and dashed toward them. He quickly holstered his pistol and pulled out his sword and stepped in front of the Oculus Nine mber that had a riot shield. He swung his sword.

DING!

Under his helt he was grinning madly as his sword failed to cut through the hamr. Not even a mark. This was a first for him. He had to hold his sword with two hands while blocking the attack. This Tacole was probably stronger than most, which might be why he was the commander.

The Tacole smiled at him, "the human that matched strength with Nila the Imperius. Finally! The only reason I ca here was to face you in combat. So fight

so I might learn your na!" Steel dodged backwards making so distance as the hamr slamd where he was monts ago.

Seems like he will be able to easily keep this Tacole's attention, "leave this one to . Focus on the others." Steel called out hoping they would understand as he moved to an out of the way location of the bridge. Hopefully they held out without him. He fired a few shots from his Pyre before putting it away again.

The Tacole charged right to him grinning madly and yelling, "Deal with the rest of the humans, this one is my opponent! Do not interfere!" The Tacole went for a horizontal strike but he spun around the edge of the hamr using his leg muscles as he swung to at least cut the Tacole's hand off.

As he got close he suddenly felt weightless before suddenly flying away. But it was not directly away. He felt weightless for a mont. Steel realized as he figured out the key aspect of the hamr. "It controls gravity." He whispered under his voice.

The Tacole jumped forward going for a diagonal strike. Using all his strength he parried the hamr. The mont it made contact there was a loud ringing before Steel felt himself slide back and he saw the Tacole slide back as well. So if he put his all into a strike his strength was equivalent to this Tacole.

The Tacole stepped back and got ready pulling himself into a stance that seed to give him a defensive advantage. Steel took a mont before he realized the enemy probably had to take so ti between each burst of gravity control.

Steel dashed forward keeping himself low to the ground as he moved. He should be able to get under or around the hamr if need be. But then the Tacole did sothing he did not expect, he jumped and slamd the butt of his hamr into the ground propelling himself into the air.

But his montum was already carrying him forward so when the Tacole moved his hamr and swung at him. He just had to brace for the impact as the hamr hit him in the side. Fortunately the Tacole hit him from an odd angle otherwise it would have been a lot more painful and damaging. Instead he just flew across the room and crashed into a console.

Steel grunted in pain as he staggered as he stood up. Actually having to use the sword to help support himself. He needed an advantage he could exploit. Sothing he could pull out in the middle of the battle. Even as he thought he dashed forward again, this ti going for a vertical downward swing.

But instead of dodging the Tacole headbutted the strike. Steel blinked in surprise as the Tacole's personal shield broke. Then a mont of clarity as he rembered how the Oculus Nine commander managed to break the shield with raw electricity. Victorium technology was vulnerable to unconstrained electricity and he had just the ability that could help.

The Tacole brought his leg up to kick him and Steel projected electricity from his chest as the Tacole's foot made contact with his chest. As Steel flew back through the air he brought his sword down carving a cut into the floor to slow himself down. As he stopped he saw corpses around him but he ignored them.

He dashed forward feeling excited and his adrenaline coursing through his body. The Tacole changed his position but Steel ignored it as he generated electricity throughout his entire body. He pulled out his Pyre and fired at the Tacole.

The first two bullets triggered and broke the shield. Then the Tacole used his tal gloved hand to block a shot that was going for his head. Then Steel aid at the gaps in the Tacole's armor where his joints were located. One in each knee, one in each shoulder, the last one was aid for the elbow that was holding the hamr.

As the Tacole faltered he dashed forward lightning arcing off his blade but as he got closer he realized sothing. But it was too late as the Tacole adjusted his position and hit him. He even felt the force of gravity increasing the impact. He managed to block most of the damage with his sword.

CRACK!

But it was not enough as he felt an intense pain in his arm while he felt and saw his helt co apart. So half of it was shattered he felt pieces of tal and plastic embedded in his face and neck. While his broken arm was still holding onto the sword. But his other hand lost the Pyre while he crashed into a wall.

He heard the crunch and crack as his bones broke along with the tal wall he slamd against. Or rather the wall he went through. As he lay there broken and feeling pain throughout his body he could only think of one thing.

Electricity. He needed to generate more electricity. So as he stood up with barely any thought in his mind his broken arm slack and unresponsive. He ignored it as he grabbed the sword with his other hand.

He needed to continue fighting. As he walked back through the hole in the wall he made arcs of blue lightning shot off his body but the color began changing to a lighter shade as he moved forward until it was white. He raised the sword in his hand and noticed it had changed shape and he could feel so connection to it.

But figuring out that was not his current priority as his body was screaming in pain. He walked through a wall of smoke and saw the Tacole was about to turn away. When the Tacole saw him he began roaring with laughter.

"You are a chosen wielder like myself. No wonder that weapon made its way to your hands!" He yelled. Then he dashed forward and Steel dashed forward as well. Their weapons t again but instead of completely pushing against him in a head-to-head attack he let the Tacole's attack push his sword back.

He brought his sword around again with white arcs of lighting going off it. The Tacole activated the gravity function but this ti there were sparks of white electricity as Steel swung his sword. It sparked as there was resistance and he focused all his power onto a single point.

BOOM!

There was an explosion of electricity that sent Steel sliding back but the Tacole flew back and slamd into a wall before falling to the ground. Going unconscious as the Steel started walking forward. But as he moved forward he started feeling light headed before suddenly falling to the ground. Then all he saw was black as he succumbed to the pain and a feeling of tiredness that overca him.
