The garage door creaked open for a second and Jace slid through the opening. It was a quick movent and the garage stopped opening after he slid past it. He was hidden behind a box as he listened.
Devan and his bodyguard's pulled weapons on the Vexical nobles. "You bastards, I knew you were going to betray ." Devan coldly told them, his tone instantly flipping from the business-like tone he was using before. He began looking around, "The police I have on the payroll were watching the bridge. They saw your buddies get here ahead of you."
The noble looked around in confusion while his three rcenary bodyguards drew their guns aiming at Devan and towards the garage door that opened. "What the hell are you talking about? You called
here!"
"Because that was our arranged deal but why are there others here? You were the only one I told to co here." Devan growled out in anger.
Jace quietly moved around so of the large factory equipnt so he was positioned so the noble and rcenaries were between him and Devan with his guards. Jace aid his pistol and fired at one of Devan's guards.
PSSH!
The guard's head snapped back as both the noble and Devan shut up and looked at the body that was falling. As the guard was falling he fired his laser pistol hitting one of the rcenaries in the leg.
PING!
"Arggh!" The rcenary scread in pain as he fell to his knee and fired his gun.
BANG!
Another of Devan's guards grunted in pain as he was hit by the bullet. "Fucking- Shoot them!" The guard yelled while the remaining uninjured guard began rushing Devan back into cover.
The noble went to run behind so factory equipnt and ran face first into the bad end of Jace's silenced Pyre. The rcenaries were taking cover while firing at and killing the injured guard. One of the rcenaries quickly ran back following the noble.
PSSH!
The noble crumpled to the ground with a hole on his head. The rcenary was surprised for a mont before he saw Jace coming around the corner. Then he dived away just as Jace was firing.
PSSH! PSSH! PSSH!
He missed three tis as the rcenary scrambled behind so factory equipnt. "Boss behind us!" He yelled out a warning as he returned fire, firing blindly around the corner.
Jace was already changing his position. Moving around so equipnt he had to duck down as one of the rcenaries fired at him. The bullets chipped away at the box he ducked behind.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
An arrow embedded itself in the back of the injured rcenary, killing him. The last one out in the open dived behind so equipnt as another arrow embedded itself in a tal pipe that was behind him.
Jace stood up from his hiding spot and fired at the one that had earlier dodged his attack. After moving positions he now had a clear line of sight while he was distracted by Ulin who was firing on them from above.
PSSH! PSSH!
This ti he hit his mark as the rcenary's lifeless corpse sprawled across the ground. The last rcenary was behind a large tal box that was on wheels. Jace moved to the other side of it while making a quick signal with his other hand telling Ulin and Vana to go after the last guard and target.
Jace could hear the last rcenary on the other side of the box. The rcenary was looking around the side of it so Jace quickly fired on that side.
PSSH! PSSH!
"Arrgh!" He grunted as one of Jace's shots glanced along his face. The box ca racing forward at Jace after the rcenary kicked it. It bumped into Jace but he just hit it aside using the hand with his silenced Pyre as a reaction. The tal box slid away to the side and slamd into a piece of factory equipnt causing a loud clanging from the tal on tal contact.
The rcenary was behind the box so when Jace hit it to the side he was rushing him. The rcenary grabbed Jace's wrist of the hand with the silenced Pyre and pushed it up in the air. While he pointed his own Pyre pistol at Jace's head. Jace's knife sliced through the gun as the rcenary pulled the trigger.
"Shit!" The rcenary cursed before tossing aside the gun and instead moving to headbutt Jace. Jace saw the attack coming and slamd his own head into the rcenary.
CRACK!
The cracking of bones was loud as the rcenary staggered back in surprise waile bleeding from the nose. Before he got a chance to recover Jace raised his silenced Pyre and shot him in the head. The rcenary collapsed to the ground and Jace turned around to see how the other two were doing.
The last guard was lying on the ground dead with a scorch mark on the back of his suit. While the person he was escorting, Devan, was bawling his eyes out with an arrow through one of his knees. Standing by him looking Jace's way was Vana and Ulin with both of their weapons at the ready.
Jace walked over to join them. Both of them frowned when he got near. Ulin went to say sothing but just shook her head. Turning her attention back to Devan who was looking at them with a mix of fear and anger.
"Why are you covered in blood?" Vana asked with a confused expression. Jace looked down at his bloody vest and single bloody leg.
He shrugged, "heads easily explode with enough force." His response made her make an even more confused expression but he moved on from it and nodded at Devan. "Hey you, I need to know all the shipnts you made over the last year and where they went."
Devan looked confused for a mont before he shook his head while flinching in pain, "why the hell would I tell you that? Not to ntion you bastards just killed a bunch of people, after this you will be going to jail." He grinned madly, making Jace frown.
"We have a police car inbound with two officers in the front seats. What do you want
to do with them?" Tako asked, "I know what you said but I figured I should still get your opinion."
Jace chuckled as he understood. Devan was probably counting on the police he said he had in his pocket to get him out of this. "They must be the police Devan said he had on his payroll. You can kill them, I doubt the Woltar governnt will care much for two corrupt police officers."
The blood drained from Devan's face as he realized his gamble failed. They were not afraid of the police and they heard him talking about having police in his pocket. Jace stared him down for another minute as Devan contemplated his fate.
Jace sighed and kicked the arrow that was in his knee lightly. But it still caused the man an intense amount of pain. "I suppose we will have to do this the hard way. Grab him, we will take him back and I will spend the night getting the information out of him."
CRACK! CRUNCH!
Jace froze mid step as he was beginning to walk away when he heard the noise. It was quiet and ca from Devan. He looked over to see him begin to spasm and foam coming out of his mouth. "Son of a-"
"Damn," Vana crouched and opened Devan's mouth with her hand as he stopped spasming. "Yeah… that is cyanide. He had a cyanide capsule in one of his teeth." She was holding Devan by one of the arms so she dropped him when she realized he was dead.
"Umm… search his body, get anything of use. Then we are going to search the factory quickly before leaving." Jace thought for a mont before pulling back out his silenced Pyre and shooting Devan's corpse twice in the head. "Just to make sure."

Tako breathed out for a mont before holding his breath as he began focusing. He switched his scope from a thermal scope to the nightvision one he already had. Focusing on the targets through his scope.
The police officers arrived driving quietly up to the factory. They stepped out of their vehicle shining flashlights along the ground. After a mont one of them saw a body on the ground and reached for his pistol while yelling out loud.
POP!
Tako fired at the other one who shined his flashlight over at his partner. The second officer's head exploded in a bloody mist. But his body still stood up as it took a mont for it to register the lack of a head.
His partner was confused for a mont while Tako cycled the bolt and the sniper shell popped out. Then he let out a breath and sucked in another one before taking a mont while the police officer's partner began panicking.
POP!
As the officer began looking around the second one's head exploded in another bloody mist. Then Tako breathed out with a sigh.
"Police officers are dead, you want us to keep watching until we extract the objective?" Tako asked over the communication channel.
"Negative, the objective is dead. He had a cyanide capsule in one of his teeth. We are searching for any intel he left around then we will extract." Jace's response caused both Tako and Ellis, who was near him, to curse.
