Soon, the dungeon spirit's voice resounded in the huge hall making Lucas and others heave a sigh of relief and at the sa ti, they were excited about the rewards.
'Swoosh'
As soon as the dungeon spirit stopped speaking, the last three participants in the dungeon disappeared before appearing in a small spell room filled with floating spell scrolls.
'Two sets of scrolls, I can only pick one from each set.'
Lucas already knew the rules from the dungeon spirit as he started checking one after another.
Since the dungeon spirit promised them that they could pick any one scroll they like, it didn't hide the information from them.
The first three floating scrolls were the basic spells and he could choose one of them. The dungeon spirit was clever as it didn't give more information other than the na of the spells.
Nevertheless, Lucas didn't bother about them as he only cared about the interdiate spells and the advanced spells.
'I will take Fiery rage.'
Since he already had a fireball spell, Lucas didn't take the 'Fire arrow' and 'Fire ray' spell scrolls and took sothing different from what he had already.
As for why there were only fire spells in the spell room, Lucas was not surprised because before entering the infernal mage castle, he used the fireball spell once, making the dungeon spirit think that he had an affinity with the fire elent.
However, Lucas himself didn't know which elent he has an affinity with because he took the sa amount of ti to learn the three basic spells he learned so far.
Nevertheless, he was not bothered about it and walked towards another set of three floating scrolls.
The dungeon spirit gave the nas of the interdiate spells and unlike the basic spells, the dungeon spirit set a ti limit for the interdiate spells making Lucas scoff.
'System, you know what to do, right?'
Lucas didn't bother with the one-minute ti limit as he talked to the system.
'Ding,
Spell na:- Infernal bomb
Effect:- The user can create portable orbs which can be blasted with his single thought. The blast radius is 10 ters.
MP cost:- 100 units of magic power.
Chanting ti:- two minutes.
Note:- Even the user will get injured or killed if he was within the blast radius of the infernal bomb.
'Ding,
Spell na:- Hellfire bolt
Effect:- This bolt is completely covered in black flas that can be controlled with the user's mind within a 100-ter radius and disappear when it collides with sothing impenetrable.
MP cost:- 100 units of magic power.
Chanting ti:- two minutes.
'Ding,
Spell na:- Blazing wave
Effect:- A wave created from the pure magic power that can blast everyone within a one-ter radius of the user.
MP cost:- 100 units of magic power.
Chanting ti:- two minutes.
'Ding,
Note:- All the effects of these interdiate spells are for only level 1. With the increase in their levels, their effect will be increased too.
Within no ti, Lucas saw the holographic screens in front of him explaining the information on three interdiate spells.
'As expected of the interdiate spells, they cost 100 units of the magic power for a single-use. That is basically my total magic power.'
Lucas muttered himself as he compared the basic and interdiate spells.
Currently, Lucas' magic sea's capacity is only 100 and he could use an interdiate spell only once and even that he needs his magic sea to be full.
'I need to break this 'novice mage' and 'Mage apprentice' as soon as possible and beco a proper mage.'
Lucas needs to increase his mage rank to increase the capacity of his magic sea.
'So, which one should I choose from these three? All three of them look powerful.'
Soon, he ca back to his senses as he looked at the three spells which cost the sa amount of magic power and the sa chanting ti.
'Infernal bombs are good as I can make so bombs beforehand and throw them at enemies when I et so; however, it is a double-edged sword and I need to be careful while using those bombs as they might injure or those closest to .'
'Hellfire bolt is also good as I can kill anyone within a 100 ters radius; however, it will disappear the mont it cos into contact with a shield or sothing similar to it.'
'As for this Blazing wave, even though I can only blast away the targets around in a one-ter radius, I think I need sothing like this.'
Within a single minute, Lucas processed the pros and cons of the three interdiate spells in front of him to his best before coming to a conclusion.
And the conclusion was to pick the 'Blazing wave' spell scroll.
'I will learn it after going back to the secret training room.'
Since Lucas didn't want the dungeon spirit to know that he had talent in the 'Ways of mages', he decided to learn both the spells after leaving the dungeon.
'Swoosh'
After he picked the two spells, Lucas was sent to the main hall.
Beck and Luna were already in the main hall with excited smiles on their faces.
'Looks like they got the good spells.'
Lucas silently thought to himself as he waited for the dungeon spirit to inform them about the final reward.
Lucas and others didn't wait for much longer before the dungeon spirit said those words and clearing the spirit was trying to sow discord between them.
"Lucas, you should take it ."
However, Luna was clearly not interested to fight Lucas and even if she fought, Luna knew that she could not win against Lucas much less Beck who just killed two young masters from the Grayeye family just for insulting her young master.
Moreover, Lucas had already helped her so much in the dungeon.
So, she willingly said those words.
"Young master, go and take the spell."
As for Beck, without any surprise, she asked Lucas to take the advanced spell.
'Ding,
The hostess will be failing the mission by giving away the chance to pick the spell.
As soon as she finished her words, a system notification rang in her head informing her about so mission.
'System, I know you helped a lot; however, I am never going to compete or fight with my young master for anything.'
Beck replied to the system in her head in a cold voice, making the mighty beast tar's system silent.
"Okay"
As for Lucas, he was not modest in nodding his head as he decided to take the advanced spell without any hesitation.
