Just as Lucas and Beck were having a conversation, there were loud roars from the portal that made everyone alert.

Lucas beca serious as he said while looking into the portal.

As usual, the dungeon spirit didn't have complete control over the evil portal and what the participants sees, the spirit can see a little more.
So, the spirit confird those were the last two evil spirit beasts and decided to end the last round.
"Beck, Luna, let's attack them and kill before they could even co out of the portal."
Unlike Beck and Luna, Lucas was calm as he experienced even more dangerous situations than the current one. So, he ordered the two girls.
As for the reward from the dungeon spirit regarding the second round, they could ask but they didn't have much ti for it. So, they didn't ask about them before focusing on the two evil spirit beasts.
As long as they kill those two evil spirit beasts, they could enjoy quite so rewards. So, they didn't waste any more ti.
'Should I just consu the lesser knight pill and beco a Lesser Knight?'
Lucas rembered the lesser knight pill; however since he could naturally increase his cultivation just using his short swords without a problem. Lucas decided to not use the pill.
There was another reason why he didn't want to use a pill because the Knights or Mages who use the pill will be weaker than the naturally beca Knights and Mages.
'Only if I had strong short swords.'
Looking at the single rank 1 short sword in his hands, Lucas muttered to himself.
Even though he has four rank 3 swords in his inventory, Lucas can't use them because he didn't have a slight mastery in swords.
Even if he swung them, it would not deal half the damage when he used the short sword in his hand.

While thinking that, Lucas rushed towards the two struggling evil spirit beasts in the portal, as Beck and Luna released two of their powerful spells.
The ferocious wolf's face appeared in front of him as it attacked the left evil spirit beasts and the rank 2 purple-coloured spider grew in size as it used its sharp legs to attack the right evil spirit beast.

However, he knew he could not stop it now as it would be very dangerous for him and the two girls if both evil spirit beasts co out of the portal.
'But, at this rate, we are not going to kill them as they barely got any injuries despite being injured by him and others hundreds of tis.'

Unless the host kills them in a single hit, they will naturally get healed by the evil energy from the other side of the portal.

Lucas thought for a mont as he said those words and took a few monts to relax before resuming his slashing with the short swords to increase his mastery in the short swords.

'Sigh...even after killing so many evil spirit beasts I didn't have 1000 beast points.'
Beck bitterly shook her head as he looked at her young master who was trying to increase his mastery to beco a Lesser Knight.

How could breaking through from the mid-level squire to high-level squire in less than a couple of hours be easy? Many mid-level squires train very hard for months to beco high-level squires. So, Beck was sure that Lucas' plan would not work.
Beck silently muttered to herself as he asked the system, 'System, can't you help in taming the evil spirit beasts just like how I ta the regular spirit beasts?'
Beck, with the help of her 'Beast tar system', tad two rare spirit beasts like a Winged white lion and a Netherworld's spider.
So, she was thinking that the system could help her in taming the two evil spirit beasts that were currently struck in the portal.

The system in Beck's head gave up on her and asked her to deal with her current situation.
With the system's notification, Beck beca pale as she fell to the ground and looked at Lucas with tears in her eyes.
