After reaching the manor, Lucas freshened up before eting his little brother Evan.

Bernard knew how many resources a developing family needed. So, he was even ready to enter the Viscont grounds of the forest for the sake of the family.
"Rember, do not enter the Viscount grounds and only hunt for a rank 3 spirit beasts or below."
Lucas warned Bernard strictly to hunt in the Baron grounds as he could guess how dangerous the Viscount grounds were.
In this firmant, Bernard was the only one who could protect him and his little brother until he increased his strength. So, until then, he didn't want Bernard to take unnecessary risks.
