'Basic heal'
Lucas used the level 2 basic spell to heal the injuries on the Blackwind panther before asking, "So, will you beco my mount?"
"Never."
Even with the 'basic heal', the blackwind panther was not healed completely but it had enough energy to fight Lucas.
So, it replied in a furious tone as it jumped onto Lucas.
"Sigh. You are trying to bite the hand that just healed you."
Lucas was calm as one of his shadow clones pulled back the panther by tail whereas he used the hilt of his short-sword to knock out the blackwind panther.
'Basic heal'
Lucas nonchalantly healed the panther again before asking, "It's already been five tis. So, are you still not going to beco my mount?"
"Human, even if you kill , I will never beco your mount."
After Lucas used the basic heal, the blackwind panther opened its eyes and rejected Lucas' offer.
'Damn it...this panther has a lot of pride just like the Shadow wyvern.'
Lucas rembered how shadow wyvern rejected his offer even though he said it twice in the wilderness.
'Wait a second. If the stick is not working then, what about the carrot?'
Lucas already wasted 10 minutes, trying to ta the blackwind panther. So, he wanted to change the thod.
Since even the shadow wyvern's pride disappeared when he gave it a beast evolution crystal, Lucas wanted to try the sa thod.
Of course, Lucas could not use a beast evolution crystal as he only had a single crystal.
'However, I have another thing that is liked by the dark elental spirit beasts. Let's see how prideful you are.'
The reason why he wanted dark elental spirit beasts to be his mount was that he had a backup plan of using dark ember fruits.
With that thought in his head, Lucas took out three dark ember fruits before saying, "This Shadow clones skill is taking too much of my energy. I need to replenish it."
Even though what he said was true, Lucas intentionally said these words as he slowly ate the first fruit.
'Ding,
Assassin sea's capacity increased by 10 units and assassin energy replenished by 560 units.
"Do you want it?"
Lucas extended his hand to make the blackwind panther take a good look at the fruit.
"Th..this…."
Just like Lucas expected, the blackwind panther's pride wavered a little after seeing the dark ember fruits in Lucas' hands.
Even though it didn't know what those fruits were, it was sure about one thing, as long as he consus them, his chances of becoming a rank 4 spirit beast is possible in a short ti.
'Idiot, just take it and beco the master's pet. He will take good care of you.'
Seeing the silent panther, the Phantom eagle transmitted its voice into the panther's head as it continued,
'I evolved from silent phantom to Phantom eagle just after eating a single fruit. Who knows you might evolve too. Moreover, my master has a lot of these fruits. So, as long as you obey his orders, he won't mind giving these fruits to you.'
'Master, I transmitted my words into its head just like how you asked to do.'
Once the Phantom eagle finished his task, it transmitted its words into Lucas' words.
'Good. I hope he takes the bait; otherwise, we wasted 10 minutes for nothing.'
Lucas also replied to the eagle and waited for the panther to make the decision.
'He is being cautious.'
If it was a normal ti, Lucas didn't mind waiting; however, he had to go back to Silverstone town as soon as possible. So, he was getting impatient.
"Fine. If you don't want it, I will go and search for another mount."
As soon as he finished his words, Lucas swallowed the second fruit and turned back to leave.
"Master."
Seeing that Lucas was leaving, the hesitating blackwind panther no longer hesitated and directly called Lucas in a respectful tone.
'Ding,
Congratulations to the host for successfully taming a blackwind panther to beco your mount.
Lucas didn't have to worry about whether the blackwind panther was really ready to beco his mount or not because his system would take care of it.
'As for the contract, I don't want to waste my energy on it.'
Except for the back white tiger, Lucas didn't form a contract with the other spirit beasts; instead, he let them follow him and the system shows their loyalty to him in his user interface. So, he didn't bother with the contract.
Moreover, when he didn't form a contract, surprisingly, the loyalty of the Phantom eagle increased by 10 points and reached 85 / 100.
"Good. Eat it."
Since he had more than 100 dark ember fruits in his inventory, Lucas was not stingy as he directly threw a dark ember fruit at the blackwind panther.
'Gulp'
The blackwind panther excitedly jumped into the air and swallowed the fruit in a single gulp.
"Don't absorb the energy from the fruit yet as you have an important task to do."
Lucas stopped the blackwind panther from absorbing the energy as he feared that a surprise evolution would spoil his plans to go to Silverstone town.
Even though the chances of evolving just after the first fruit were low, Lucas didn't want to take any chances.
"Let's go. I will heal you on the way."
Soon, Lucas mounted the blackwind panther and gave his orders.
"Yes, master."
Just like a wind, the blackwind panther moved in the wilderness, making Lucas satisfied for that delay he made in taming the blackwind panther.
'Huh? What's happening?'
Along the way, Lucas' body started glowing with a red light and felt sothing was happening inside his body.
'Ding,

The host tad multiple spirit beasts without any talent in the beast tar. So, the heavens blessed you with that talent.
'Haha'
Soon, his body stopped glowing and he no longer felt any discomfort in his body; however, when he saw the system notifications, he could not help but start laughing.
