With that, she gave him a last, warm smile before turning her gaze toward Azrath. Her eyes grew cold, shining with a brilliant gold as a massive celestial circle ford around her. She raised a single hand toward the sky and spoke in a calm, commanding voice. "Co to , Dawn Bringer."

Evelyn’s golden phoenix, which had just blasted another attack at Azrath, let out a screech that reverberated through the air. It flapped its massive wings and shot high into the sky before dissolving into a cloud of golden dust.

The shimring particles swirled violently before shooting down into Evelyn’s raised hand, taking the form of a long, elegant sword. The hilt was shaped like a phoenix’s wings spread wide, and the blade brimd with enough power to look as though it could cut open the heavens themselves.

Azrath manoeuvred away from Kai’s latest attack and snickered at the sight of the weapon. "Daughter of Light," he mocked, "do you truly think that will be enough to defeat ?"

Evelyn t his gaze, her expression unyielding as she countered, "Why don’t you find out?"

With that, the two beings charged at each other. Their blades collided, and the impact reverberated across the lands, yet none of them faltered.

Eve moved at the speed of light, clashing with the Dark Lord head-on. The only trace of their movents was the sheer force left in their wake, each strike sending tremors through the battlefield.

Not far away, Ivan watched it all unfold.....every movent, every clash.

Tension coiled tightly within his body at the sight of his beloved fighting the demon prince alone, leaving him both srised and uneasy.

But he had no ti to lose.

He knew that if he wanted to stand beside her, he needed to get his bearings first.

Reluctantly, he tore his gaze away from their fierce battle and closed his eyes.

Fire began to swirl around him.

Kai roared, circling above him before rging into his flas, becoming one with him once more and restoring the strength he had been deprived of for so long.

Ivan’s aura expanded, wild and uncontained, dangerous fire erupting around him. Slowly, he raised his hand towards the sky, his voice low and commanding.

"Co to your true owner... Incendium."

As soon as Ivan spoke that na, it was as if the air itself stilled around them. Then, slowly, the temperature began to rise.

Lightning split the clear sky, illuminating the land as though dawn had arrived in an instant. Power thrumd through the air, so overwhelming that every person felt their skin tingle with the weight of that otherworldly magic, forcing their eyes upward once more.

On one side, they could still see the relentless clash between light and darkness, moving so fast it was nearly impossible to follow.

But then... their attention shifted.

To him.

Massive flas swirled around a lone figure, and none of them needed to guess who it was.

Their eyes widened as lightning struck Ivan’s raised hand once... then twice... then again, until it had struck seven tis in total.

And in that mont, they knew.

Sothing was changing.

Sothing divine was awakening.

His torn attire, battered from his battle with Azrath, began to dissolve into fire before reforming around him. His hair grew longer, reaching his shoulders, falling in sharp, V-shaped layers that moved with the rising heat around him.

Then they saw it.

A massive sphere of fire descended from the sky, halting just above Ivan’s outstretched hand.

Ivan slowly opened his blazing molten orange eyes, and the mont the fireball touched his palm, it dissipated, revealing a magnificent sword. Its golden hilt was intricately carved with the form of a dragon, coiled in perfect detail.

A small curve appeared on Ivan’s lips as he saw the weapon answer his summons. He whispered, "You heard my call, Incendium."

A massive ruby at the centre of the crossguard glinted orange, and a deep voice echoed from within the steel. "Master... I have been waiting for you all this ti."

Ivan’s eyes widened at the sound, and in that mont, a single truth settled within him.

Evelyn had been right. The sword had never chosen another. It had always belonged to him.

Without hesitation, Ivan finally closed his hand around the hilt.

A powerful tremor surged through his entire body as the blade ignited, glowing a deep, blazing orange. Flas coiled around it, alive and restless, as it humd with overwhelming power.

But that was not all.

Every trace of fatigue, every ounce of drained energy that had weighed him down until now, vanished the instant his grip tightened.

He was no longer exhausted.

He was... awakened.

The fire covering Ivan’s entire being warped before disappearing, revealing him clad in golden armour with a red robe billowing in the wind behind him.

It made him look truly like a celestial being....the son of fire himself, Malakai.

A shudder ran down everyone’s spine as their eyes took in Ivan’s new form. He was brimming with so much power that they no longer knew if they were looking at Ivan or the god of fire himself.

Ivan did not waste any ti.

With renewed power overflowing in his veins, he shot straight toward Azrath, who was attempting to sneakily use his grotesque tentacles to attack Eve from behind.

Anger boiled in Ivan’s blood, and his sword reacted to its master’s emotions. Ivan wielded the blade to cut through the monster.

A beam of fire erupted from the steel, so powerful that it burned through Azrath’s tentacles and continued onward, splitting the sea in two not far from the volcanoes.

Azrath’s pained scream echoed through the air as he forced distance between them, retreating before he could sustain further damage. Gritting his teeth, he took in the renewed form of the man before him.

He was the very image of Malakai from the past.

And for the first ti... fear coiled deep within him at the godlike sight.

Eve, too, took in his familiar form, a soft, knowing smile gracing her lips as her gaze moved over him, admiring him from head to toe.

"Good to see you like this again, darling," she said gently.

Ivan’s molten orange eyes shifted from Azrath to her, softening in a way reserved only for her. "Hm. I’ll take care of him."

His gaze flickered past her, settling on the battlefield below.

"I believe you have so unfinished business down there."

His eyes landed on another abomination locked in a fierce battle with Solan.

Eve followed his gaze, and it took her a mont to realise who the two figures engaged in the intense battle were.

One was clearly the man she had considered her father when she was a child. The second was a woman who no longer looked the part at all. It seed every fake facade she had ever maintained was gone. This was her true form, rotten to the core.

Eve’s eyes hardened at the thought that she had once loved them as parents. Now, she knew all too clearly that there was only one parent she ever truly had: her mother, Goddess Theia.

Her fingers curled at her side.

She was torn, almost wanting to avoid going down there to deal with either of them, until she felt a warm hand curl around her own.

Shifting her attention back to the love of her life, she heard him speak.

"If it is difficult for you, I will deal with her."

Eve suddenly recalled how that shaless demoness had been coveting Ivan for herself all this ti, doing everything in her power to keep them apart. She was like a poison that had spread her rot into everything she touched, and Eve would not allow it to happen again.

No, this woman did not deserve to be anywhere near Ivan. She did not deserve the pleasure of dying by his hands.

The demoness belonged to Eve, and she would show no rcy to the woman who had coveted her man for so long!

"No," Eve finally replied, her voice dripping with glacial cold. "She doesn’t get to co near you. Besides, I have century-old scores to settle with her."

Ivan stared into Eve’s eyes and gave her a nod in acknowledgent.

In the next instant, she shot away from him, heading straight towards where Solan and Selene were locked in battle.

Azrath swung his sword and unleashed another blast of dark energy towards her, but Ivan was already there, intercepting it.

"Your opponent is here, demon," Ivan said, his voice cold.

"Then prepare to die!" Azrath roared, fury blazing in his eyes.

And with that, their battle resud, fiercer and more devastating than before.
