Kai closed his eyes to block out the dust that wasn’t really there, only a vision that seed to attack them. Sonia, anwhile, felt her strength drain away as a white shadow materialized nearby. She was suddenly unable to move; the mounting tension had paralyzed her entire body.
The terrifying sounds echoed around them, making Kai tremble. For soone who had read about ghosts, in his old world, it was shocking to see one appear in the middle of the day in the new world.
His mind raced, flooded with conflicting thoughts. He couldn’t process everything at once. He clutched his head, trying to make sense of the chaos.
’A ghost in broad daylight? This place is so haunted. I’ve never seen one before, but now they’re showing themselves. Am I haunted too, since I’m a soul? What is that sound?’ The eerie echo made Kai sweat, his body trembling from the blood-curdling scene unfolding before him.
anwhile, Sonia’s mind was racing as well. Her eyes were wide, darting nervously at the ground. The horrifying entity had left her weak; her body was paralyzed, unable to fight back.
’I’m a mage, I can’t just.... gosh I can’t move anything, then why did I save this guy if I can’t even protect him, this is totally an attack. Just can’t clarify what kind of a thing is it. ’ she tried to move her hand but it wasn’t moving, only paralysis and shivers.
Kai, however, remained standing, though the chills running down his spine made him shiver as if caught in a winter storm.
A scary echoing voice bood as it landed an impact on Kai. A thud was heard as he landed on his knees, his face down, his ears scarily on the scary white appeared entity. The entity was not scary, only the tension of it’s strength got them shaking.
There was a quiet strength about it, sothing you could feel in the air around it. It wasn’t the kind of power that had to shout or shout or threaten ,it simply stood there, calm and unshakable. Just being near it made their nerves tighten, not because it was frightening, but because they knew it carried a weight that couldn’t be seen. It was the kind of strength that made them realize, deep down, that it was far more powerful than it looked.
It said , "Welco to the Soul World." Kai’s eyes widened in astonishnt as he heard the calm voice voice. ’ At first it sounded like a scary thing, now the voice is more calr than I thought.
" I’m a celestial being, Seraphina. I believe you’ve been told about the world and you are marked as a quick researcher, so you’ve been given a chance. If you want to turn back and go to your world, you will have to find..."
Kai looked at the glowing Seraphina as she spoke, his ears ran away from her since his mind was racing, watching a beauty.
’Wow, what a beauty. Is she even from this world, wait, what is a celestial being?’
"I’ll guid....." she was cut by Kai’s sudden question.
"Hey, what is a celestial being", Kai asked out of curiosity.
’Is he for real, he was trembling a second ago, how did he cope up so quickly?’ She then replied Kai, " A celestial being is a spiritual or divine entity often associated with the heavens, stars, or higher realms. We are typically depicted as beautiful, powerful, and radiant, embodying purity, grace, and otherworldly qualities."
Astonishnt filled Kai as he heard Seraphina praising herself.
’huh, is she for real, telling herself that she’s beautiful, that’s rare.’
Seraphina continued, "We often serve as ssengers, protectors, or guides for humans and are considered to be close to the divine or the universe."
"Wait, can you hear my thoughts?" he asked, as he pointed at his head, with his eye brow quirked.
"No, for now, but if we beco one, then I can be able to see what your mind is playing".
Kai gasped, astonished. The way she said was totally tranquil, and she didn’t know how Kai was going to react.
"Hey hey, what do you an by if we..." Too much questions, he was cut off before he completed his sentence.
"You are asking a lot without even introducing yourself".
"Huh, don’t you know ", Kai thought that if she was associated with the heavens, she could know his na, right from the day he was born.
"Even if I know you, I want to really know you, your na, coming from your mouth." she said, with her eyes and body stagnant, with no emotions to show.
"Really, what kind of an angel is she, beautiful and yet, grr, just like Son..."
"I can hear you, and thanks!" Kai gasped since he thought that maybe he was quiet, saying in his thoughts.
"Sorry!"
"For what?"
"Nothing really , just for late introduction".
"Ohh okay, I’m listening then."
’why isn’t she smiling or so’, " who knows?"
"HUH", she got really surprised by Kai’s two words that popped up from nowhere.
’Not again, seems like she’s blessed for hearing my thoughts.’ "Sorry, My na is Kai."
"Wow, what a good na!" she then started smiling.
’her too, seems like my na is a hi....’ Kai felt as if he swallowed a boulder. It made him hold his throat tight.
Kai’s body felt the volcano heat, as Seraphina instantly disappeared infront of him.
He lost all the vision as his vision got blurry, he wanted to scream, but he thought to be a man, and to be strong, because he was told that man don’t cry, especially infront of a woman.
Sonia was there, but still lost in her thoughts, while Kai suffered a body pain that happened in an instant after he told Seraphina his na.
The heat increased every second, and each second felt like hell itself. His body scread in agony as the pain increased, running through the body, getting him all worked up.
Sonia shook her head and woke up from the haunting thoughts. Suddenly she saw Kai drooling like, as his saliva was all over his chin.
