Chapter 1439: Chapter 1439: The Sorrow of Dragon Realm
The reason Luo Lan showed a puzzled expression was because the process of entering the Dragon Realm itself was a very important test for the newly ascended mbers of the Dragon Clan.
Indeed, every Dragon Clan mber has an opportunity to enter the Dragon Realm after ascension, but in fact, not all can successfully enter. During the process, if the bloodline is too weak, like those of the lower-rank Dragon Clan who barely ascended, they cannot break through the barriers of the Dragon Realm and thus can’t enter.
Of course, the tests during this process are quite helpful to the Dragon Clan, accounting for a significant improvent.
For instance, when the Lord of Fenglong City, Huang Daoqi, first entered the Dragon Realm, he spent enormous effort and barely managed to enter relying on his higher bloodline. But actually, it took him five days to recover from the exhaustion, spending a pitifully short ti actively within the Dragon Realm.
And at this mont, Lan Xuanyu and Bai Xiuxiu were entering the Dragon Realm for the first ti but encountered no obstacles whatsoever and completed the entrance directly. This gave Luo Lan, who was originally supposed to maintain the entrance of the passage for them, a strange feeling.
Is it that their bloodlines are too strong? Or does the Dragon Realm inherently recognize them?
Lan Xuanyu and Bai Xiuxiu were unaware of these matters, as at this mont, they had already arrived in a completely different world.
Lights flashed, and they appeared out of thin air, naturally controlling themselves with Dragon Power, suspended in midair.
Everywhere on the Sky Dragon Planet is rich with life energy, with vegetation covering vast expanses, even in cities, giant trees are not lacking. But when they ca to this world before them, the overwhelming feeling was one of bleak desolation.
Looking around, there was not a trace of green in the whole world.
The sight was of ochre ground, stone, soil, and a colorful sky.
The ground mostly consisted of hilly areas, uneven with small mounds rising and falling. Compared to the desolate ground, the sky seed particularly peculiar.
The sky was colorful, as floating above were clouds of different colors. Lan Xuanyu did not need to use divine consciousness to detect it, he could clearly feel the surging Dragon Power contained within these clouds.
Dragon Clouds! Clouds ford from condensed Dragon Power.
As Lan Xuanyu and Bai Xiuxiu entered, they had already begun to restrain their aura, even helping Bai Xiuxiu conceal hers, so when they entered this world, they did not cause any energy fluctuation.
The two quietly landed on the ground, and at the mont Lan Xuanyu’s feet touched solid ground, a strong sense of grief suddenly surged from the depths of his heart, causing two streams of clear tears to flow instantly from his eyes.
Bai Xiuxiu felt his body suddenly stiffen beside her and couldn’t help but be startled. She quickly turned to look at him, “What’s wrong?” Seeing Lan Xuanyu’s face covered in tears, she was shocked.
Lan Xuanyu waved at her, but tears continued to flow uncontrollably. He crouched down, and his right hand slowly pressed against the ground. Once his palm made contact with the ground, the intense grief grew even stronger.
Initially anxious, Bai Xiuxiu soon cald down, quietly accompanying Lan Xuanyu because she too felt it.
In this world, a faint yet encompassing divine consciousness seed to pervade, filled with a desolate aura. It was not rely a single divine consciousness but composed of many faint consciousnesses.
When Lan Xuanyu wept, she could distinctly sense everything subtly vibrating around, centered on Lan Xuanyu’s body.
Lan Xuanyu took a deep breath, eyes flashing with determination, hands folded before his chest, tears streaming, but his gaze started to solidify.
Of course, he knew where the sorrow ca from; just now, scenes of the fall of the Dragon Clan had already erged in his mind, massive Dragon Clan bodies perished one by one, ultimately returning to dust.
A colossal figure over ten thousand ters long was finally split in two, vanishing in golden and silver streaks, the massive body descended, rging into one, breaking through space, condensing a world. Thus forming the Dragon Clan’s Graveyard before him.
There was no need to investigate; the current feeling clearly told him that this was the Dragon Clan’s Graveyard, the place where the Dragon God fell, and where the Dragon Clan perished.
The nine-colored Dragon Core within him pulsated violently, infected by the intense emotions; he truly felt like shouting out to vent his inner emotions.
However, he couldn’t do that. At this mont, there were definitely Dragon Knights stationed within the Dragon Realm. If he released the aura of the Dragon God’s bloodline, he couldn’t control the potential changes to the Dragon Realm. He was still too weak and couldn’t take the risk.
Forcing himself to suppress his aura, Lan Xuanyu stood up again, the grief within him slowly subsiding, his gaze firm, lips whispering silently.
“I, Lan Xuanyu, inherited the Dragon God’s bloodline and will certainly carry on the Dragon Clan’s will. I wish to lead the Dragon Clan to reerge in glory, to return to its forr radiance.”
It was a silent vow, but as it left his heart, the agitated nine-colored Dragon Core within him suddenly cald. And at that mont, the entire Dragon Realm also stabilized, while Lan Xuanyu stood in place, frozen.
Bai Xiuxiu sensed it most keenly, being right beside Lan Xuanyu; at that instant, she felt Lan Xuanyu’s divine consciousness suddenly vanish, completely disappearing. Though he was still beside her, at this mont, he seed to have beco one with the entire Dragon Realm.
“Xuanyu, what’s wrong?” she called out tentatively.
Lan Xuanyu stood there without any reaction. Bai Xiuxiu’s brow furrowed, yet she dared not disturb him further. She could only protect him by his side.
And, at this mont, Lan Xuanyu’s divine consciousness seed to extend indefinitely, rapidly expanding. Instantly, he saw and felt many, many things. His view gradually encompassed the entire range of the Dragon Realm.
Countless enormous Dragon Bones were scattered throughout the Dragon Realm. So of the Dragon Bones that were once buried by Tang Wulin were now partly excavated and exposed in the wilderness.
He could clearly feel that every Dragon Bone still contained its residual will, and likewise, they sensed the presence of Lan Xuanyu, their faint residual consciousness instantly emitting endless lant and exhilarating thoughts to his divine consciousness.
Their king, their god, had finally returned!
The Tear of the Dragon Clan on his wrist silently dissolved at his pulse point; Lan Xuanyu felt his divine consciousness suddenly nourished, growing increasingly stronger, countless intentions appearing in his mind. So many wills should cause him great distress, yet at this mont they were extrely orderly. They were communicating and connecting with Lan Xuanyu’s divine consciousness in the most gentle manner.
Lan Xuanyu stood there motionless, no aura radiated, yet invisibly, at this mont, he had beco the core of the entire Dragon Realm.
He stood there unmoving, while the entire Dragon Realm was in contact with him.
The bones could no longer transform back to their Dragon Clan form, but they yearned for their god nonetheless, longing for his return.
Lan Xuanyu’s lips tightened; the more respectful and affectionate the will from the Dragon Bones, the more painful he felt inside. The extinction of the Dragon Clan had a significant relationship with the Dragon God himself. If not for the emotional issues of the Dragon God, the entire Dragon Clan might not have perished.
