Chapter 1396: Chapter 1396 Style Change
“The establishnt of the Dragon Horse Federation is not because we, the few strong races, want to enslave you. More importantly, it is to protect everyone. To allow everyone to survive and develop in a peaceful environnt. All external wars of the federation, all dangers, we will shoulder them equally. Once we successfully consolidate the strength of the entire galaxy, the entire galaxy will beco a whole—a truly powerful whole. At that ti, such a vast galaxy, could it really be entirely in the grasp of just a few races? No, of course not. As long as one has talent, they will be employed without restrictions within the federation. After the federation is established, the first decree will ensure that there will no longer be any racial hierarchies. Strength and capability will be the only distinctions, not race or bloodline. We will beco a truly united family.”
“When one’s cultivation reaches a level like mine, or that of the esteed Dragon Knights, the Eight-Ard Demon God King, the Golden Mantis King, and other Super God-level existences here, what aning does power hold for us? What can power bring us? Nothing. It brings nothing. We are completely free to travel anywhere in the universe—who can stop us? For us, the true aning and direction of the future is not about earthly power but immortality. And to pursue immortality, we must go even further, reach even farther.”
“Countless years ago, the Divine Realm vanished. Despite all our cultivation, even though we call ourselves God Rank, we lack true godhood. We lack the immortal aura of the legendary Divine Realm as a source to achieve godhood. The gods of the forr Divine Realm were truly immortal beings. But now that the Divine Realm is gone, what are we to do? Even with cultivation like mine or that of the Sky Dragon Leader, we will eventually succumb to aging and die. Our only hope, the only glimr of possibility, lies in the re-ergence of the Divine Realm.”
“Do you want to sit and pray for the Divine Realm to reappear like a dream? That would be nothing but wishful thinking. Our only option is this: if the Divine Realm doesn’t exist, then we will create one ourselves. And to create the Divine Realm, the resources required go far beyond the known forms of energy. It will require a profound understanding of the universe’s laws, breaking the shackles imposed by those laws. This is the true endeavor that we, as Super God-level beings, intend to undertake.”
“I share this to convey that the formation of the Dragon Horse Federation cos with no selfish motives. We consolidate resources to make the galaxy stronger and turn it into an essential foundation for constructing the Divine Realm and pursuing breakthroughs. Thus, as long as you are outstanding talents—regardless of race—you will unquestionably be valued and utilized by us. Your contributions to the federation’s benefit will be given corresponding support and rewards. All races, as long as they et a certain scale rating, can appoint representatives to beco part of the Federation’s parliant, jointly deciding the resolutions of the entire federation. Upon the federation’s establishnt, every Super God-level being will automatically beco a parlantarian. Together with the representatives of various races, they will form the true parliant. We, the various races, pledge that after the Federation’s parliant is formally established, the Dragon Clan and Sky Horse Clan will jointly ensure the fairness of the parliant. Every decision of the parliant will be protected by all Dragon Knights and Sky Horse Knights—everything will be fair and just. We will swear this with our divine consciousness and will fulfill it. No more coercion like what you face now.”
The Sky Horse Sect Leader’s voice was passionately stirring. Compared to the bluntness of two days ago, he now resembled a charismatic leader giving a speech. Every word struck a nerve, and so racial representatives were visibly moved.
“I have a question.” Suddenly, a voice from the floor interrupted.
This was the first ti in the days of etings that soone dared to raise an objection.
“Please speak,” the Sky Horse Sect Leader said sternly. All eyes turned toward the source of the voice.
The speaker was a tall young man—or at least appeared to be young—with humanoid features, but his skin was an erald hue. On his forehead was a single spiral-shaped horn.
“Sect Leader, after the federation is established, will interspecies marriages be allowed?” The man stood boldly, seemingly unfazed by the oppressive presence of the Sky Horse Knights, and he spoke loudly.
Without hesitation, the Sky Horse Sect Leader responded, “Of course. The federation’s laws will stipulate that interspecies marriage is freely permitted, as long as both parties consent. No race will be allowed to use its customs to obstruct such unions. Since we are forming a unified federation, interspecies integration should be embraced. Every race has its rits, and I believe mixed bloodlines will be the direction for bloodline evolution.”
“Thank you. That answers my question.” The man sat back down.
Speaking solemnly, the Sky Horse Sect Leader continued, “Just like the gentleman’s question earlier, after the federation is established, we will ensure that everything becos more democratic and free. We will no longer work separately. We will select outstanding individuals as federation administrators. Administrators will not be limited to the Dragon Clan or the Sky Horse Clan. Whatever your race specializes in, that will determine the position you hold.”
“Does anyone else have questions? You may raise them now. Any reasonable questions will be considered by the federation. After the federation’s establishnt, they will be presented to the parliant for unified deliberation and voting.”
Another voice erged. “Sect Leader, may I ask—if the federation operates under parliantary authority, who oversees the parliant? Who ensures its decisions are correct?”
The Sky Horse Sect Leader replied, “Regarding oversight, this is naturally a subject we need to discuss in detail. Supervision of the Federation’s parliant will not be left to self-monitoring. Oversight authority must be divided among specialized institutions. The specific arrangents will require further formulation.”
“Who will command the federation army? Will individual races still retain their own forces?” ca another sensitive inquiry.
The Sky Horse Sect Leader said, “Individual races will no longer have their own ard forces. The Federation Army will be centrally managed by the Federation’s Combat Departnt, while deploynts will require unified decisions from the Federation’s parliant. Although individual races won’t have their own forces, the use of the army will still be collectively decided. The Douluo Federation’s Cosmic Fleet is a pri example—you’ve all seen how strong they are. Their strength lies in a unified command structure—no individual can command the fleet alone. Everything operates under unified orders. In building fleet forces, we will ensure each fleet’s leadership involves multiple races. I can guarantee to you that in the future, every fleet’s General Commander will co from different races. As long as the individual is skilled enough, anything is possible.”
As the Sky Horse Sect Leader answered one question after another, the previously oppressive atmosphere began to shift slightly. He now seed more like an enlightened leader, responding openly to various concerns.
It beca evident that he was well-prepared for many of the questions, having thought them out thoroughly. When there were questions he felt unfit to address, he would invite representatives of the top ten races to respond.
The tense atmosphere seed to gradually ease, and the various racial representatives, who had been stifled over the past two days, began raising their concerns one by one.
Earlier, there had been oppressive coercion—so much so that everyone felt suffocated. Now, the openness of the responses brought a sense of relief, allowing the assembled might to relax slightly.
Still, the pace remained firmly in the hands of the Sky Horse Sect Leader. Under his control, the representatives’ recognition of the federation’s establishnt subtly began to grow.
Prior to today’s eting, nearly every representative knew that the Dragon Horse Federation’s establishnt was inevitable. With the overwhelming support of the extrely strong races, opposition was futile. At least publicly, no one could oppose it—otherwise, it would an death.
