As Zhang Yuan and Xiangli Fei stood beneath the glowing lanterns, their soft light flickering like stars against the dark sky, Zhang Yuan turned to her, his gaze tender, "Fei, what did you wish for?"
Xiangli Fei's lips curled into a gentle smile, her eyes still reflecting the warm glow of the lanterns. "I didn't wish for anything grand," she said softly. "I only wished for to get along with my little sister, Fumin."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Yuan spoke "Now that I rember it, she said that we will be leaving the Empire tomorrow."
H-Huh? Xiangli Fei was shocked to hear this and her eyes shrank in shock "Y-you are leaving the Empire?"

Xiangli Fei felt her heart sink deeper with every word. Her chest tightened as the reality of the situation settled in. "Then… Brother Yuan," she began, her voice trembling slightly, "you're leaving too?"

Xiangli Fei disappeared inside her room, and for a few monts, Zhang Yuan stood alone on the terrace, his gaze drifting back to the lanterns now floating high in the sky.
A few minutes later, Xiangli Fei ca out of her room wearing bluish white robes, which highlighted her beautiful face.
She walked to Zhang Yuan with a slight blush on her face and standing in front of him, she asked in a soft tone "Brother Yuan... will you take good care of ?"
Zhang Yuan was quite puzzled by her question and seeing his confusion, the blush on Xiangli Fei's face deepened.
"I thought of running away from ho."

Zhang Yuan blinked his eyes and Xiangli Fei spoke "Brother Yuan... I don't like staying here anymore. My mother is already becoming crazy and I just can't get beatings from her every day."
She raised her gaze, looking into his golden eyes "So, that's why I wanted to ask... Brother Yuan, if I ran away with you, would you take good care of ?"
Hearing this, Zhang Yuan smiled softly and extended his hand "I will take care of you like a Queen."
Xiangli Fei's heart flooded with emotions and she reached out, gently clasping his hand.

Chuckling, Zhang Yuan pulled her closer to him and gently crouched down, taking her in his arms like a princess.

"Brother Yuan…" Xiangli Fei's soft voice carried a gentle chuckle as she wrapped her slender arms around his shoulders, feeling the warmth of his body. A playful breeze danced around them, ruffling her robes as she pressed herself closer, her heart fluttering.
*swosh* With both of them floated high in the air and Xiangli Fei's grip on him got tighter.
A gentle smile graced her lips as she glanced down at the capital city glowing in the festival lights and lanterns filling the sky.
"This is so beautiful..."
Zhang Yuan looked at the enchanting face of Xiangli Fei glowing in the golden lanterns surrounding them and his heart softened in tenderness.
Soon, they reached the cliff where Zhang Fumin, Ning Xia and Zhang Ming were spending there ti and landed in front of them.
"Yuan?"
Xiangli Fei got down from Zhang Yuan's arms and seeing Zhang Fumin's face, she lowered her head.
Her face flushed with nervousness, her previous excitent faded into anxious hesitation.

Zhang Fumin stood up from the bench and her eyes narrowed looking at Xiangli Fei.
Seeing Xiangli Fei still being scared, Zhang Yuan stepped in and went behind Zhang Fumin, softly hugging her from behind.

Feeling his breath hit her neck, Zhang Fumin's heart fluttered and the fierce woman beca a cute little cat in his arms.
She turned her eyes to look at him and smiled softly "What is it, Yuan?"
Zhang Yuan was surprised that she was actually listening to him instead of lashing out at Xiangli Fei.

anwhile, Zhang Fumin's heart was pounding like crazy as she felt the warmth of his strong hands on her waist.
Previously she didn't think much about it but now that she has realized her feelings and is conscious of him, she couldn't help but blush.
Zhang Yuan placed his chin on her shoulder, his cheeks grazing her soft cheek as he mumbled, his voice almost coaxing "Big Sister... you see, Fei here...."
Enjoying the warmth of his chest on her back, Zhang Fumin nodded her head, her eyes fixated on Xiangli Fei, who still had her head lowered.
Zhang Yuan continued, his voice a low, soothing murmur "Xiangli Zhi was the one who killed your mother, not Fei... She loves you and wishes to get along with her Little sister."
"But you are the one hating her..."
"Is it fair for her to be hated for sothing her mother did?"
Zhang Fumin placed her hands above his hands which is on his waist and replied "So Yuan... what do you want to do?"
Smiling, Zhang Yuan replied "I just want you to get along with her. She is innocent and I also promised her to make her wish co true."
How can Zhang Fumin refuse her cute little brother (lover's) request, she readily nodded "En."
