Chapter 633: Chapter 626: The Soul Contains the Divine Chapter 633: Chapter 626: The Soul Contains the Divine The Star Realm is vast.
At a certain location, two giant beasts, one on each side, were pulling an airship forward, which was the ‘Star River Battleship’ painstakingly developed by sorcerers.
However, the current Star River Battleship was only a prototype; otherwise, it wouldn’t need the beasts to pull the ship.
“Thou, as the Great Commander of the legion, competing with us for such a nial task, you really lack dignity,” said the beast.
“Shut up, featherless Sword Eagle Spots, if you keep rambling, don’t think I won’t thrash you,” replied the other beast.
“I’ve told you already, I’m Sword Eagle Spots.”
“I don’t care whether you’re cheap or not, just shut your mouth imdiately, right now.”
Seeing that he had irritated the Great Commander of the Black Star Legion, Sword Eagle Spots opened its mouth but made no sound. It did not wish to truly anger the other party, and even less to disturb the Supre Lord in the battleship.
Finally, silence blessed the ears of the beast.
It hadn’t realized before how incessantly chattering the Sword Eagle was. Now flying together, it discovered this annoying fact, which was truly aggravating.
If the other didn’t keep quiet, it may have to complain to the Supre Lord.
The Supre Lord being pondered over by the eagle and the wolf was naturally the master of the Black Star Legion—the Void King Wizard, Ivan Marichardon.
At this mont, Ivan had already left the Danaila Plane and arrived in the vast Star Realm River, allowing the battleship to carry him toward an unknown domain, toward the distant Song Praise Plane.
Undoubtedly, it would be a lengthy journey.
Unlike before, this ti he did not need to travel at the quickest speed. He could revel in the magnificent scenery along the way and study things that interested him.
“The Nether Soul Seeds have quickly nurtured a soul, looks like Locke did a very good job.”
The Star Realm River was filled with all sorts of dangers, which he had previously experienced. Even staying inside the battleship, Ivan had no intention of resting, lest he give an opportunity to any lurking threat.
This day, he sensed sothing different.
One of the Nether Soul Seeds planted by Locke had sprouted and grown.
The so-called ‘Nether Soul Seeds’ were a special kind of soul seed condensed using the technique recorded in the ‘Devil’s Book of Nether Soul Mirror’.
He had delved deep into research, combining it with ‘Three Create All Things’.
Following the thods of the demons, Nether Soul Seeds were supposed to draw from the Power of Fall to grow or guide believers to do evil and enjoy themselves, drawing a certain type of negative energy to nurture their own Secret thod Body Double.
He had made comprehensive modifications, using the Knight’s cultivation thod and Sacrificial Light as diators. Those who practiced Black Star Fighting Spirit would unwittingly devote slivers of their power.
This power pertained to life, soul, and mind, a high-level force, yet the impact on the cultivator was negligible.
Should his experint succeed, the Nether Soul Seed would transform into a true Knight God with the nourishnt of many forces.
Even if the cultivation of a god failed, at the very least, he would get a native being to act as his Secret thod Body Double, to explore the Song Praise Plane, before moving on to the Elf Plane.
“Compared to the thod of the Black-Bearded Lord, the technique of this sorcerer is indeed quite unique.”
“It seems soone is rather shaless, bragging and comparing themselves to an Insect Race lord, perhaps forgetting they are a Level 5 being.”
Another voice echoed in the room. Ivan looked over involuntarily, where in the corner stood a breathtakingly beautiful woman.
However, this beauty was not made of flesh and blood, but was a stone statue as tall as an adult.
“Mavis, you’ve been standing there so still, I almost forgot you were in the room,” Ivan said without annoyance upon hearing the other party’s mockery.
“Humph! As if I’d believe you.”
Mavis took a few steps over and unceremoniously sat down beside him.
“From what you’re saying, it’s impossible to cultivate a deity in such a manner?” Ivan asked bluntly without any pleasantries.
“Sorcerer Ivan, you’re too arrogant. Deities are not that easily born,” Mavis replied.
“Do you know? There’s a large plane called the ‘gods’ plane’ where nurturing a deity would be easy if you apply your thods there, otherwise there’s absolutely no chance of success.”
“Of course I know about that plane; after all, the Nightmare Plane is infamous throughout the Star Realm River, notorious for its evil renown, and the gods’ plane regards it as a mortal enemy, which also has quite the reputation.”
“You have so insight. In my estimation, at most you could cultivate a totemic creature.”
“Is that so? That’s not bad at all. As long as it’s a native creature, I’m not choosy. Let’s wait and see.”
On this voyage, the journey was incredibly long, with innurable dangers lurking. Ivan had dismissed Tanaya and Angela’s requests to co along, taking only Mavis, whose body was a divine statue, along with the wolfhounds Sae and Blub to pull the ship.
Besides them, there were only the Puppet Guards and Magic Puppet Servants on the warship, and no other living creatures.
“Who wants to wait with soone else? I’m going to the next room,” Mavis chirped.
“That won’t do. If anything happens to you on the way, where would I go to find your original body? If you don’t want to share a room with , there is another option – I could put you in another space and let you out when we arrive.”
Ivan naturally wouldn’t agree; the trip was full of uncertainties, and he didn’t want any additional complications.
“What if we need to communicate along the way?”
“Then just stay put here. There’s no need to think of ways to avoid . I won’t do anything to you.”
“Humph! Don’t think I don’t know you’re up to no good.”
“Think what you will. I’m just kindly considering giving you a flesh and blood body, and here you are doubting . I suppose it’s you who has impure thoughts.”
“That’s not true. I just know you have bad intentions, why are you staring at like that?”
“Nothing.”
Hearing her words, Ivan keenly sensed sothing and looked at Mavis thoughtfully.
Mavis said annoyedly, “You’re really shrewd, indeed, I, as a divine being, do have a special ability to vaguely sense the direction of your emotions. Otherwise, out of so many sorcerers, why would I choose you?”
“So that’s how it is. You natural deities are truly special.”
Ivan mused that it was indeed so, realizing that deities were even more unique than he had imagined, but he wasn’t disappointed; he could explore it slowly in the future.
“You know now; I won’t talk to you anymore, I’m going to sleep, I need to conserve my strength.”
Mavis’s body was not without power; with Ivan’s help, she could barely reach the lord’s level, but she needed to conserve energy for her original form – a mission as a body double.
She returned to a corner, glanced at the sorcerer, then transford back into an immovable stone statue.
The room fell into silence.
